We have stayed at a number of different hotels and our first visit to your hotel left a lasting impression. firstly, the greeting from the receptionist was very friendly and the secondly to be handy "goody bags" was also a nice touch. the hotel overall including room was tastefully decorated. Room was very clean and breakfast was truly awesome with plenty of choice for all taste buds. My only minor issue is the TV, could we invest in having more channels to watch? Your price for one night was very much Value for money. We have stayed at hotels for one night nearly double your price and did not include breakfast.

Just ROUGH! Tight, Cramped, Marijuana Odor in Hallways

Was chocked by Marijuana odor in hallway after having to change my room (needed a room with a chair that had an actual backed. Found the room cramped, the bathroom shower handle did not work well. Night manager came up and in his DIRTY SNEAKERS stepped into shower to turn it on after admitting that handle was faulty (NO ONE EVER CAME OT FIX IT)

Stayed two nights. Staff were very helpful at check-in and check-out. Breakfast was very good, and helpful staff there. (Coffee machine was slow, though.) Only one problem -- the room was super warm the first night -- duvet too heavy, but more importantly, the climate control didn't work. We had to turn the radiator off and open the window (even in October). Neither one of us slept very well the first night. (Premier Inn would have given us a free night!) The second night they had fixed the climate control, so a better night's sleep. Overall, it was good.

Stayed in room 221 it was impossible to sleep for the excessive heat. I tried the AC but it was noisy, so although the hotel was great, my stay was spoiled by the uncomfortable room temperature.My previous stay last year as satisfactory.

Night receptionist is a nitemare

After a long journey with big accident on motorway we arrived at the hotel at 1:30 am having driven from Glasgow, knackered and needing sleep. The bloke who mans the reception advised us that we had missed last check in time of 11pm, but he would check us in. I told him I didn’t know this rule and it wasn’t mentioned anywhere on the booking confirmation, I’ve since checked all the terms and conditions it’s not mentioned there either. A welcome would have been nice. Anyway proceeded to enter the hottest room I’ve ever walked into since someone had left radiator on full. 39 degrees. Switched off said radiator and opened the window the full 1cm that it allows and by 3:30 am the temp had finally dropped to a temperature that would allow me to get some sleep. When we checked out we were asked the question was everything ok? Mentioned to receptionist about the night shift bloke and left. 5 mins later get a call from the manager offering apology which to be honest was welcome. She explained that said member of staff needs retraining which I agreed with. I’ve stayed in this hotel at least 3 times in the last year, this was my first bad experience - would I stay here again? Probably but only because the manager apologised and the price and breakfast is normally good, if you would have asked me this on the night In question the answer would have been definitely no.

A simple 2 night stay at a seemingly basic Hotel based on price. excellent food for a burger too much for me and a quality beer with exceptional staff. You need to sort your windows out. room 100 the noise from the motorway bleeds through the windows and that wasn't up to standard.I loved the curtains they are definately a where can i buy them from, needs more coat hangers, shower was perfect, tea and coffee was a great selection, the breakfast was full of choices and as to be expected. very happy. tv had all the freeview channels. I chilled out in my room and had a relaxed stay. not sure why the tv kept turning on again multiple times through the night but i would go again just to see the Manageresses L. again. All staff were courteous and helpful. A gym tour would have been nice. lack of information concerning meal times and printed rather than spoken. minor niggles Highly recommended
