Billed as a 4* hotel, this was not a 4* expereince. Hotel was poorly decorated and a bit dingy. No resturant to speak of, just breakfast facilities. Room lighting was poor and it felt spartan. Main issue was the hard very unconfortable bed. If I compare this to a UK 4* hotel this does not match up - including Accor 4* which I use in the UK. It may have the required facilities to get the star rating, but far from acceptable. Attention to detail was also poor - no shower gel in the dispenser, only evident once in the shower - too late.

Hotel is better than the last Accor I stayed in but not by much. Not what I would expect of a 4 start hotel. Decor was tired and unremarkable, lighting in the room was odd and harsh.The bed was the main, very hard and not designed for a good nights sleep. When compared to other Accor hotels I have used in the UK really not in the same league.

« Happy to see Novotel back in Blois »

people fully dedicated, thanks to them. Parking place has to be refurbished , charged if needed and able to book a place in the same time that we book a room. Improvement is needed on the breakfast, on my point of view it is not in the novotel standart.

quiet and calm rooms for me and my friend's couple. Nice staff and professional, whealing to satisfy any question. Very good ambiance at the coffee shop, and the quality of food is at good level.

The room was quite fine, however the A/C was making strange noises. Also the WC was not stable - moving once you were trying to sit on it.. old hairdryer, you could guess from paint left over of different decor of the previous bathroom. We also had badly prepared bed with torn bed sheet... Corridor looked bad - like in student's house, with an old carpeting and dirty... Breakfast was a challenge to get - too many people, not enough staff to cope with the dirty tables, refill of the products. Variety of choice - poor and not a quality one, cheap ham that tasted only salt, even scrambled eggs were disgusting.. Seriously, can one call it a 4 stars hotel and Novotel on top of that? Euhh... I would give a max of 3 stars and would rename it to Formule1..

The room and indeed the hotel was fundamentally un clean. The so called in room tea and coffee facilities were poor 2tea bags 2 coffee machete 2 milks I ask yo we were 2 people 4 drinks 2 milks?? Why should I have to go off down the corridor to case up.Further the room service key produced no ringing tone. I had the impression that some of the staff were non local hardly spoke French let alone English . The whole place gave the impression that we were in shoestring country. See if we can run the place on as little as possible
