Whilst the hotel itself is adequate, the customer service I received here was absolutely terrible. Due to a payment issue that was not my fault, I was treated like a criminal. The receptionist was rude and hostile towards our group for our entire stay. I am honestly shocked by how she treated us. It was incredibly upsetting. I really would not recommend staying here for this reason alone. The room itself was fine, the kitchen is small but relatively well equipped. The lack of a toaster was somewhat disappointing. The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night on Sunday; we were told not to evacuate but the alarm sounded for approximately 15 minutes and it was incredibly loud, so that was also quite disruptive. For the price, it would be fine but I would rather pay more than be treated the way we were treated at this hotel.

Inspite of its own advertisement as a 4 stars hotel, this is certainly NOT a 4 stars may be hardly 3 stars but even by Paris taxi drivers, a 2 stars hotel. I booked the hotel through booking and found out that an add on of euro 146.40 was requested at check in for hidden city tax which booking preferred to hide to make the price lower. At first, we arrived by 3.20PM and there was no rooms available. After some 40 minutes, we were allocated a room of the size of a postal stamp. On top of a, there was no working TV. After complaining that the room doesn't fit the 4 stars, we were allocated a new decent room. But it turned out that the specific room was designed for handicapped visitors with an open room shower. Taking a shower, created a total bathroom flood which kept dripping out. Next day, again a normal room was allocated. But the bathroom, although better had its own issues. The shower handle was falling from the slide and I "fixed" it with a kitchen knife. The negligence of maintenance was noticed with the rotten lower mirror. Furthermore, all windows were fixed, air conditioner didn't function and the air in the room was stale and hot. Not really a 4 stars hotel. See pictures

So, this hotel has a major issue with communication between shifts. The night clerk writes down your requests in a notebook, but it seems like the next crew doesn't give a hoot. Spent a whole 8 days with zero internet, and they didn't bother telling anyone on their website. After complaining like five times, the director finally hears me out and says they'll hook me up with a router, just gotta drop a deposit. No biggie. Guess what? No router when I get back to my room at night. Asked the night clerk about it, and he's clueless. Total bummer. Can't get worse than this. Oh, and forget about an iron or a floor cleaner in the room. Asked twice, got no response. Adding to the disappointment, my love for this franchise was short-lived. Thought I'd get the same vibe as my awesome stay in Cadiz, but this Paris experience killed it for me. The whole thing was a letdown, and I'm not feeling the Odagio love anymore. Props to the staff, though – they're nice and all, but that doesn't make up for the letdown. By the way, please, if you're just going to hit me with the same automated response you've used for other complaints, don't bother replying. I gave you guys eight days to fix things up, and it didn't happen. Spare me the generic reply stating the obvious – let's just leave it at that.

There was no internet connection for many weeks. Neither could arrange for alternate solution. Gym was not functioning. Couldn't avail the laundry bill- which Adagio other branches were able to provide.
