« Mostly satisfactory »

Pleasant warm clean room with reasonable facilities, we had to ask for sliding door to be fixed and a socket which was loose. The shower slid down when in use too. Staff were generally friendly but one gentleman was rather impatient with us when we made what we felt were reasonable requests about the repairs that were needed. Also disappointed to find pool closed when the travel agent had found us a place with a pool as we requested.

Over all I am happy with my 3 nights stay at Hiparkby Adagio in Nice. It's closed to shopping, restaurant, McDonald ... Nice and clean room.

I booked the apartment room on a special and was pleasantly surprised at the space afforded by the unit. It had a fully kitted mini kitchen and was the perfect place to stay close to the Convention Center

This hotel was the perfect place for us as a family. The staff were very friendly and helpful always. The area was central and very easy to walk to the train station, shops, seafront and a very beautiful park. the rooms were a good size, and with good quality linen on the beds.

Really lovely. Apartment was very clean, a nice size and of a nice standard. Very comfy beds. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Only negative was the noisy road outside but that isn’t the hotels fault!

« Very satisfied except for the cleaning method used »

Enjoyed our stay! Loved the apartment and facilities offered. I don't mind that cleaning is not done everyday, BUT if you're staying for 10 nights like we did, I think it should be done mid way your stay not after 8 nights, as stated in the fine print!! I don't mind the cleaning because I assure you we left the flat cleaner than we found it!! What bothered us was the change of towels. When asked at the reception we were told we had to pay 6 euro for a change of 2 bath towels and 1 face towel, (which already is ridiculous because it should be 2 bath and 2 face towels...1 of each for each person!!) I found this very unfair. Also, only 1 napkin for the whole 8 nights in the kitchen to use for the dishes. No tea towel to wipe your hands in! At least, if no tea towel, a kitchen roll (essuie-touts) should be put. I had to by a tea towel and left it there. Mind you, the chambermaid forgot to leave a napkin when she cleaned after 8 nights! I had to ask for it myself! Hope these little things are looked upon, because they are no big deals, but lower the rating of the hotel! Had these things were better organised or attended to, our stay would have been perfect! I chose this particular hotel because we lived on Bd Delfino at no. 58 Le Rembrandt, for 7 years between 2008 and 2015 and therefore remember the hotel being built!! If we were to come again, is it cheaper to book directly by calling the hotel, please? I always book through Booking.com

It was said in booking.com-reservation, that there is cleaning every second day but it was not. Breakfast was good. Swimming pool was promised but it was not possible to swim except one day.

« Not a pleasant experience »

Having booked a two bedroom apartment on the Accor hotels app, where it was clearly stated that the apartment had a queen size bed and one having twin beds, we arrived to find ourselves in a two bedroom apartment with two queen beds. This was promptly sorted by a change of room, but started our experience at the hotel poorly. When taking a shower, the shower head did not stay attached to the wall and the glass screen to stop water from spraying everywhere did not achieve this owing to a leak at the bottom so the bathroom promptly had a pool of water on the floor that then leaked into the living area. We had to use the towels to mop up the water. Having used the towels to mop up the water, there was now no towels for the rest of us to shower, so we called for more and were informed that these would be €15 each. At that price we could have gone across the road to Carrefour and bought our own towels for less! We did finally manage to get the extra towels needed for free. At breakfast the next morning, we attempted to make toast using the toaster in the kitchen, lo and behold, this toaster was faulty! Another call to reception and a rather unfriendly person at the end sounded surprised but had another toaster sent to the room. After a lovely day out in Monaco (very easy to get to by the nearby train station), we got back to the hotel and found that all three of our keycards had locked us out of the room. Another trip to reception remedied this. On the third and final day, we secured a late checkout (thanks to my Accor Gold status) although they were certainly not eager to offer this and offered it for a charge twice before being prompted about my status. Once again on the third day when coming back to our room from a day out, our keycards had stopped working. Throughout our stay the WiFi was not working and none of us were able to connect any of our devices to the WiFi. Although we were able to use our phones for data etc, the inability to use our laptops when necessary (especially for flight details) made it very difficult. All in all: Pros: - good location - fantastic for groups Cons: - room was not as described - shower was impossible to use without flooding the bathroom - toaster was broken - keycards stopped working every day - no free additional towels to deal with the shower issue without a lot of effort on our behalf to get them for free I felt that this hotel was a disappointment to the Accor brand and makes me regret picking this hotel over other similar ones nearby. In the future despite being Accor Gold, I shall think twice before booking an Accor hotel like this.

I lost my trousers in the room 515 and staff told me that was not found. My wife and I confirm the trouser is in the room so there are only two option. Either discarded or stolen. We asked by email but got very limited reply.

« Enjoyable stay after a first hurdle »

I had a pleasant stay in your hotel after I was transferred into a quiet room facing to the inner court yard. I asked for a quiet room with my booking but ended up at a room facing the street that was too noisy for me. The hotel was quite full, but after some hesitation the receptionist was very helpful and kind to switch me into the room I stayed, which made all the difference to me. I was very happy in the end. Just the breakfast was very busy, which is why not always sufficient plates, bowls and cutlery were present.

« Good, but a little disappointed »

Nice room, but disappointed in two ways. First, no cleaning at all in a seven night stay. I would expect fresh towels every other day, and the bed made occasionally. Also, there was no tv in the bedroom, which was a bit annoying. Otherwise quite nice.
