« so terrible. »

Before I stayed in Novotel Saigon in Vietnam. Novotel Saigon is low level hotel than xiamen grand mecure. But novotel is better than xiamen. I think xiamen grand mecure does not much level. Romm interior is so terrible and dirty.

« Good location but bad internet / wifi »

Hotel is in good central location. But very poor standard for a hotel under Accor. Some staffs were very rude. Rooms are large and clean. However the wifi is disaster ! First time encounter a hotel wifi that must log in with a local phone number. Obviously we don't have and end up using our own data roaming. Never stay again.

« Comfortable, good service, facilities can improve »

I was first given a duplex room, but didn't like the room as the ceiling was too low (I am tall) and too much stairs. I changed to a 1 floor room, but the bed panel was scratched and the overall architecture of the room was strange (bathroom sink facing the main room door) which was uncomfortable. The staff gave me a more comfortable room, which was great. In the process, the staff was very nice, understanding and helpful so my experience was still good. Breakfast needs to improve compared to other Accor hotels.

« Not very good place to stay despite good environment for eating »

The environment is okay because it is located at downtown area so it is easy for us to look for place to eat, but the fact that the hotel did not have any pools, gym, spa doesn't represent the grand mercure status

« Very dirty hotel »

The floors are not clean as dirt on the carpet and floor can be seen on check-in is still there after several days. The bathroom curtain is full mold and the shower room floor felt very slippery. Wiped the shower room floor and the white towel turns black and green! Bed sheets are changed only twice throughout 7 days stay. And amenities are not replenished. Lots of shampoos are given, but not shower gels or lotions or conditioners. Seems like housekeeping staff visits the room, makes up the bed, put in shampoos and left! Room walls, mirrors are full of dirt and stains.

It was a short time to stay because I arrived late afternoon, then chech out early morning for my flight back . but , it was so very good to stay. Perfect location and very good food.

Room full of smoke smell, even after change room. Air conditioning is poor, not enough fresh air. Worse stay hotel experience in Accor China .
