In general I felt comfortable when staying at the Joy-Nostalg hotel in Manila. However, this time I was a bit unhappy because of the glass door of the bathroom. It was too heavy that I could not close properly, thus water ran through the floor. If possible, please revisit. Thank you.

At first I was a little puzzled since I was able to check in online but the room was not ready yet. We waited a couple of minutes in the lobby before we were able to proceed to the room. The receptionist that assisted us kept apologizing because of the inconvenience. When we checked out, she remembered us and apologized again and asked how was our stay. The personalized service stuck with me. I was happy the personnel (guards, receptionist, bell boy, waiters and waitresses) that assisted us during our stay were accommodating and very friendly.

Stayed 4 nights. Checking is good. Went to nostalgia bar on a saturday evening and asked if the TV can show English Football, the answer was a straight no. Was planning for dinner while watching the football game. Redeemed my free non-draft beer, only local bottled beer anyways. Requested for Detergent to watch some clothes, but was told needed to pay around 20P. If i get the detergent at door service, I would have tipped 20P anyways. Tried washing my clothes but got error E4 or something and got stucked for hours. Bad experience. Showered in the room and the drainage clogged, overflowed above the kerb to the toilet area.

Everything was set up very well to prepare for our wedding, only gripes were that 2 of the rooms we booked needed to move in to our room as a late check-out wasn't available (which is understandable).
