It always felt like home staying at Joy Nostalg. It's our go-to place for staycation. We booked the 3 br suite to celebrate our dad's 60th birthday. It was fun for everyone as we have plenty of space with our kids just walking around. Our babies enjoyed the heated pool. Also, the free cake was so thoughtful since I told the reservation agent about my dad's bday just once,didnt really emphasize on it so I was surprise to see the cake. The housekeeping was very helpful when we requested to change 1 of our sheets and pillow late at night coz my nephew vomitted all over it. They were prompt in giving our requests (new batteries for the remote,additional pans,tissue etc) it was kinda unexpected though coz before there were ample supplies and kitchenwares available and no need to call for it. We just had a problem with 1 bathroom,drain was clogged and smelled funky, we used the other bathroom instead.It was fine since we just stayed overnight, I just forgot to mention it when we checked out. Lastly, breakfast was okay but would have been better if more options. Overall, it was a fun and comfortable stay for the family and would definitely go back.

I do not feel as happy as I used to stay here. First, there was no welcoming fruit as usual (or my memory was not correct for previous times?). The fridge is too noisy that I must ask a technician to turn off the power before bed time.

I had really high expectations in coming to this hotel - with its great reviews and ratings. I have stayed with my mother on December 1 (during the long weekend) and I can say that our overall stay is acceptable but not quite impressive (or maybe I really had high expectations resulting to some areas that indeed fell short). Let me try to divide the areas of my review:NO ONLINE CHECK-IN FACILITY SIMILAR WITH OTHER ACCOR HOTELS - As compared with other Accor hotels that I have stayed in, which allowed me to check in earlier making sure that my key card is ready in the Priority desk, Joy Nostalg does not have this option available. I made sure to check it with Customer Service on the day itself, as I thought I may have just missed an e-mail. The kind lady from Customer Service that I have talked to, did confirm that this service is not available. She did assure me that I can still approach the Priority desk - being an Accor member - to have my check-in prioritized.NO PERSON MANNING THE PRIORITY DESK - When we arrived in the hotel, of course, the lobby was crazy because it was almost check-in time (around 2:15-2:30 pm if I'm not mistaken). To my surprise though, there was no one in the priority desk - with various guests and bags sitting on the table and chairs. I have inquired with the bell boy (who was very helpful, sorry I haven't catched his name) to check if there's no one who can help. He did approach Jake, the Duty Manager (I'm not sure if this is his position), and Jake did assist us. I understand and I clearly saw that he tried his best to find a room for us and really acted quickly, with me giving him my valid ID, Accor membership card, and credit card. I'm not expecting that our room is ready. Yes, we understand that 3 PM is the check in time. However, I'm expecting that there should be someone manning the priority desk. If there are people lining up, the priority in charge can still accommodate guests, but if an accor member comes in, it is just fair for this member to feel the necessary welcome. I'm also expecting that at least, our check-in kit that usually includes the Welcome letter and the Welcome drink voucher is ready. Maybe it was because of the chaos brought about by the long holiday but I just reminded Jake about the Welcome drink voucher. This was not given to me outright. If I haven't asked for it, I'm sure that it have been forgotten. The Ready Welcome kit could have prevented this.

With regards to your comments I too would like breakdown your feedback. With regards to online check -in, we are just finalizing connectivity to be able to add this function to our hotel, as you mentioned it does make it easier on arrival and departure. I agree that the priority desk should have been manned at the time and will follow up the team accordingly as I agree this is the benefit of the membership. I do know that last weekend was an exceptionally busy weekend with the holidays. While we always add additional resources with the volume of leisure guests on this occasion our reception area did experience high volumes during the peak period between 12.00 noon and 3.00 pm. Our welcome drink vouchers etc for our loyalty guests are prepared in advance so I am sorry that this had to be reminded on this occasion. People were courteous and very helpful. Room was good. Only thing that almost ruined our stay was the parking system of the hotel. You should and you could do a lot better. That was the sour note in our stay at your hotel.

Stayed here for 4 nights due to a workshop I attended in the same hotel. Was not able to try out the fitness center or the pool but both looked inviting. Food, service, function rooms, and the hotel room was excellent. The only thing I wish could have been done more conscientiously was to replenish all toiletry supplies daily.

The hotel is everything you would expect and more. The check in experience was very pleasant and being an Accor Plus Platinum Member they went out of their way to ensure I was made welcome. I was escorted to my room which happened to be on the top floor and a corner room which was huge. Housekeeping were very attentive and made sure they stocked up on my Nespresso coffee pods, which was very welcome. The breakfasts were excellent, the Rooftop Bar was awesome and the bar staff fantastic. The BBQ food available was brilliant and the views amazing.

« Two stays, impossible to get my points reflected on the account! »

Basically OK, except that they do maintenance works at night hours, and that is not logical. I've stayed twice at the hotel since it is an Accor Hotel, and never, ever I got my stay reflected. When I do it with Shangri-La or Marriott I get the points reflected within 1 hours of my checkout!

It was a pleasant stay. I loved how pets are welcome too. However, make sure that the Guest Service Officer knew the room location specially when we request for the nearest room to the elevator.

I arrived past 2, and upon explaining that I am with UNICEF, I was asked to wait, and was told by your male staff in the receiving area that someone would assist me. I was in a hurry, but alas, he did not help me check in anymore. They have attended to other people already, while I sat there, waiting to be assisted as promised. I arrived at my appointment late, because of this delay. They did attend to the foreigners right away though. That is what disappoints me.
