Conveniently located, close to the Orient Sq Building (offshore office). Great facilites. My stay at room 2007 could have been better (rated 10) if I didn't have to put up with the noise at night from the neighbouring construction site working (seemingly 24hrs non-stop) on most nights. There should be some sort of negotiated curfew to prevent this.

Everything is splendid. My recommended my business partner to stay in Joy Nostalg and every single one of them give me their positive feedback. I did not regret making this choice. The room are well equip with full kitchen facilities. Not only its spacious but its also very cosy. I enjoyed my breakfast. I like the restaurant atmosphere and design. Tables have inspirational book for reading pleasure. Every single staff greeted me with a smile. Their service provided is excellent. From the Security staff to the management, all is very professional. The hotel is near to big shopping malls where u can everything u want. I will definately make this hotel my first choice whenever i go for leisure or business trip there. I would like to give my appreciation for every single staff that made my trip a happy and memorable one.

It was wedding of my sister and we want to give her the best, as this will be the last wedding among my siblings. I really pushes for Joy Nostalg as this hotel gave me the luxury of home. Booking 2 units, although with some issue with the 3- bedrooms, they immediately provided resolution and offers. In short, my sister’s wedding was at its best and one of making this real is the hotel. Even the photographer/ videographers acknowledged the very nice lighting of the hotel. It is a real recommendable venue for pictorials.

I stayed again - it must be a dozen times. The rooms are great for a short stay as they a larger than normal. The restaurant has changed the menu since the new ownership and it is an improvement. Also the bar area is more open and good to be smoke free.

what a hotel, I stayed in the King Suite...………..2305fantastic, two rooms, kitchenette, shower and steam room in one, stayed in many hotel rooms this is equal to any. Shopping malls three all walking distance, train station close by. Great value, highly recommended .

The serviced apartment unit given to me was nice. Gave me a chance to cook a bit even though there was no rice cooker nor bread toaster as written in the info book. Tv in washroom is a cool idea. The dining lounge staff and the staff and the front desk (except Ms Karen who did her best to check us in) could have been cordial and warm by greeting as we enter, as we go and take our food, as we request for omelet, as we request for milk and sugar. Only one janitor was kind enough to say good morning as he passed by our table. We would have repliedin a more warm fashion if they all did. The bathroom amenities Had only one toothbrush. When we went out of the hotel and the housekeeping did the cleaning, I saw the lady outside. I told her about it and asked for one more toothbrush. When we went in, the replacement was again only one. And the shampoo and body gel were not replenished. I used them the night before and I thought there would be fresh ones. To my dismay, there was none . When I went to the business center on a Monday morning, there was a meeting in the glass room, all looking at me as I entered the business center but if they were Manning the business center, I thought one of the big group would at least step out of the room, ask what it was that I needed and let me know that they cannot be disturbed. And there were no books as written in the info book. Only the DVDs were there. my apologies for my remarks. I have been staying in hotels often either for business or for relaxation after toxic office demands. I did not expect it from my first time to be in Joy-Nostalg. Nevertheless, the dining lounge was spacious and Mark in the front desk was kind enough to ask me how was my stay and did small talk with me when I was checking out. Marlon who assisted me with my luggage was also one kind personnel. I hope there could be much improvement not anymore for me but for all other future residents or guests in Joy-Nostalg. If so, many will give praise to the work everyone is graciously doing as you serve your guests. Treat everyone please fairly, locals or foreigners. Thank you.

The concerns you have raised regarding the helpfulness of our staff have been discussed with the appropriate manager for change and review. With regard to the rice cooker and bread toaster, we have it set-up at the topmost cabinet in the room. As for the Business Center, we are in the process of changing our collateral as we do not have business center services anymore but should you require any assistance, you may contact the Front Desk and they will be glad to assist you. « Love the staff, could use a little flexibility from you »

I love the Joy Nostalg. I am an extended stay and frequent customer. The staff (like my little Philippines family) is by far my favorite aspect of the hotel. However, I ran into a problem this last time which is weighing on my mind. Our main offices are in Ortigas, which is why I chose the Joy Nostalg. But, I am finding it such that my business is taking me all over SE Asia and I tend to use Manila as a hub. Because of that, I am coming and going a lot. I asked for a reduced rate for the days I was out of the hotel (and would be checking back in) and was declined. This caused me to have to throw away food stuffs I had bought, pack up, and re-check in when I got back to a different room. As it appears I will be doing this more often, I am seriously considering moving to an Air bnb, (and there is one next door to the Nostalg). While I love the Joy Nostalg, the nature of my business is making it less suitable given the inflexibility to allow a "come and go" scenario. As the Airbnb is only $20/night, this would allow this flexibility and still provide the required amenities (washer/dryer, kitchen, etc.) I seek. I will miss the staff though. One other small item - you all are really stingy with the hangers. For us business types, providing more of those would be helpful.

This was our 2nd stay at Joy and very enjoyable indeed. The staff go out of their way to make you welcome, so yeah super friendly staff.The pool and gym are great, especially the 25m pool, soooo good for lapping. Breakfast was great and nice bar staff.We had an apartment room, so big, furnished luxuriously, we wanted for nothing.Most importantly, hotel has fast wifi.The hotel has a DVD library which we like to use; both our DVD players would not work, quickly fixed. I'm reluctant to include a negative comment, but we had the same problem last visit; so maybe these should be checked as one of the players simply did not have the HDMI cable plugged in, obviously from previous guests; the other player needed to be replaced. But in the scheme of things this was minor issue and I'm giving this hotel 5 stars and will definitely stay there again.

we've stayed here many times before. but the service is always great. We did have trouble checking in, even if we did an early check in hours before (tried an early check-in). the front desk couldn't find my reservation I had to pull up my reservation on my phone. It was weird because everything was fine a few hours before
