when i arrived at the hotel I was surprised because was in other address, no swimming pool, no gym, i received a accessible room that i don't need and the view was terrible, for a wall, the paint smell, the noise because of the remodeling In the second day I arrive at the hotel at 15:15 and my room was not cleaned, i just ask for change the towels

The check-in guy was really rude and dismissed us several times during our stay. I recommend possibly getting him some training if possible.

We enjoyed our time at Grand Mercure, the team was fantastic, specially our housekeeper Karinha (not sure we are spelling the name correctly) but she was top top top and always going beyond and making us feel like we were part of her family. She was really attentive and kind. If we ever return would love to see how good she is doing! As well as Pedro and Alenxandre from Reception. Really lovely staff. My only concern with the hotel was the treatment received with the towels (beach towels). It was ridiculous the way it is controlled. We understand that the swimming pool was under refurbishment and a towel per guest was allowed to be given to go to the beach instead. However, first no towels could be given before 9am, so if you were planning to go to the beach before that time you had to either go without it or wait until 9am. Second, the conditions of the towels. We are talking that the towels were really old, stained or looking dirty and really thin towels that were not really pool or beach towels but because this is a complimentary service we didn’t want to make a fuss. However, the persecution to get the towels back was a bit uncomfortable that makes us feel like we would not return it. Apart of that, we enjoyed so much our stay. Thanks so much!
