the room was comfortable but we found the service a little lacking. e.g glasses, plates left on tables for up to an hour after customer had left. The seats in the bar lounge were missing legs and very wobbly - not just one. I advised the staff but no action was taken to remove or replace as the same chairs were there the next day. The lounge booths were showing their age with major cracks in the vinyl which 'pulled' on clothing.

On arrival (on the Friday) we were greeted by Steven who went over & above to accommodate our needs. Check in was also great & the lovely lady gave us a room upgrade which we really appreciated. Staff on the Saturday weren’t as good. No issue but no Steven! Only negative which we’ve struck before is smelly drains in the bathroom.

Attentive and helpful staff. Efficient check in and check out. Lovely room, with comfy bed - didn't know about the pillow menu but would have been helpful as pillows in the room were too soft.

There was a couple of things I was very disappointed in considering the Pullman brand, I spoke to the concierge about the room service issue, on the first night of my stay when I called room service for the late night menu due to my arrival time I tried to order a salad or fruit platter I was advised there was only butter chicken left. Firstly' left' sounds terrible, I tend to eat a mostly vegetarian diet and couldn't believe there wasn't even steamed veggies/salad or fruit or something available, most people would eat light at that time! What if you were Vegan? The concierge did ask the kitchen, they advised him I should have ordered the fruit platter, I stated I had tried too and was told it was only butter chicken left, there were no other options provided or available according to the lady I spoke with. She didn't even suggest Uber Eats or something equivalent which would have been the next best option. Additionally I am an Accor Plus member and used one of my Stay Plus benefit nights, but it was placed in the middle of my 3 night stay, I asked for a late checkout, traditionally 5pm with Stay Plus but was advised as it was Friday I could only have 12pm, so an hour extension, better then nothing but still disappointing. I did request a special contour pillow when I booked but it never appeared either. On the upside, hotel is in a great spot, concierge was trying to assist but seemed to be fobbed off by the kitchen, pool and spa and those 2nd floor health facilities were lovely and clean, the 2 gentleman one that cleaned the windows and the pool chemicals man were very nice. I understand this is a new property so the staff are still learning, they have a little way to go to be equivalent to say Pullman, Hyde Park in Sydney which is an exceptional hotel, I stayed there last year with a friend.

Very comfortable room and the service was very good. Had room service and was impressed by the meals and the delivery time. Breakfast buffet had all that was needed but had to ask for salt and pepper each morning. Valet service good and prompt.
