I came to celebrate my birthday with my very best friend. Everything was awesome but there is something strange and sort of inappropriate from the staff's attitude & service. During my check-in, I heard that my booking was cancelled and the receptionist keep telling me that because my booking was the "discount" booking from Agoda. I think she should focus on how to give the solution instead of telling your customer that they're using some kind of booking that's not fully supported. Room staff and Restaurant staff are kind but Restaurant Staff was pretty clumsy for their way of giving out information to customers. They apologized many times just because their bill printer had problem and asked us to wait, when I asked him "how long should will it take?" he said: "about 2 minutes". The breakfast buffet counter was amazing but I experienced something really unpleasant, when the juice container's trunk was stuck. I told your staff that it's ok, they don't have to fix it right away, just give me a glass of juice ... then they took my glass with their fingers on its rim, dipped the glass into the juice container and gave back to me. That juice glass was looked messy - definitely not MGallery standard. I hope to see more local food and seafood in your menu , for Hai Phong city has some kinds of very special seafoods such as Giá Bể or Ngán. Thank you, Can't wait to get back LAM

Loved the beauty of the building, the attention to details and the fast that it has used traditional materials and building techniques from Vietnam. The landscape is amazing and you can feel the spirituality of this meaningful place. Service has been amazing and there is lots of staff available to make your stay enjoyable. Good to be away from classic touristic area.

I loved everything here. From the lobby to the room, all the details were so delicate. I love the atmosphere, even in a crowded breakfast restaurant, you still can find some peace for yourself. I love opening the wooden window in early morning to hear all the bird singing. I love lying down by the pool at evening. And to all the staff who smiled to us every time they saw us, thank you for making a short getaway much more enjoyable. I will definitely be back!

The design and the concept are really nice. A beautiful place with extremely nice staff! Sitting in the foot of Yen Tu sacred mountain! The place is perhaps too crowded. Seeking for peace as the UNESCO’s World Heritage Site, nestled in a sacred Buddhist land of Vietnam, it ended with noisy customers all over. From the lobby to the restaurant until our room's door. The place and design are great, so people just gather anywhere to shoot some nice photos. Yelling at each other how to pose, in the corridors, etc... Adding the kids running all over the place. The management may forbid some areas accesses or... explicitly invite the customers to be quiet

The food is really needed to be improved as it is not tasty as expected also the portion is quite too much for Vietnamese - which is quite wasted for a scared retreat vacay. Also some staff is very unprofessional which needed to be enhanced on serving guests and handling unexpected situation better. Love the air there and unique uniforms are extra plus!

Overall a great experience. The hotel is absolutely stunning and the staff highgly professional, well-trained and always friendly. The facilities are beautiful, and there are many things to enjoy in and around the hotel. The surrounding environment is beautiful and traveling up Yen Tu mountain is worth it.

My room was amazing. It was quite spacious with a good view to the garden. Service was perfect and nice food. The landscaping was also taken good care. I feel like i am staying in a palace of Tran dynasty and no one can bother my vacation. I love the quite atmosphere here. I definitely will bring my family back next time.

We had such a luxurious stay at your hotel. We loved the junior king suite - the decor was beautiful and we loved the comfort of the giant bed, the beautiful bath and the huge window looking out to the grounds. The staff were amazing and so helpful. The entire resort is divine - we took photos everywhere we went. We also loved the large pool and the daily yoga.

On the first day, the pool was visited by many loud families, some kids were naked in the pool. The service staff just looked at them. This was disgusting. After raising this issue to staff in charge, they took fast and good action. The days after this incident were good and enjoyable. The hotel is well designed, located and taken care of. The staff is new, needs more training but is in general very good and tries hard to meet expectations. bedding is good; breakfast buffet with a wide spread. The breakfast a la carte is reasonable when just a few visitors are there. Kids and families with kids should not be allowed in a bar. This should be a general approach. Overall the experience was good. Also because the staff tried their best which was obvious.

Breathtaking experience in every way

From the moment you approach this hotel it will take your breath away! The 'wow factor' is everywhere: the decor and design of reception, rooms, pool, bar and restaurant is exceptional and worthy of a page in ‘World of Interiors’. The staff are especially helpful and simply lovely people. Nguyen and her team arranged everything from a free shuttle and advanced tickets to Ye Tu Mountain to taxis and services to Ha Long Bay. The grounds to this hotel are huge and there are staff members everywhere to help with anything. The bedrooms: I entered my room and my jaw dropped. Huge rooms with double height ceilings, quiet aircon, deep luxurious bed and linens, large double sink washrooms with huge rain shower and attention to detail that simply must be experienced. And then there's the view! Open the floor-to-ceiling wooden doors to a terrace with full view of the village and mountains beyond (request it when you book). The only drawback now is that the spa is under construction (I cannot wait to experience the spa!) We ate every night of our stay in the restaurant and were never disappointed: generous buffet (on some days) and al la carte offerings of chef prepared Vietnamese specialities, sushi and fresh buffet treats. The service by the restaurant staff was exceptional and to a very high standard. There’s also a gorgeous pool, free cooking classes and yoga instruction. They have a fantastic happy hour in the beautifully decorated bar area and Tru the bartender made sure we had everything we needed. Yen Tu Hotel really must be experienced -- I will come back and stay longer.

From checking in to leaving it was an awesome experience. Staff were very qualified and welcoming. Nothing was too difficult. Restaurants were fabulous and reasonably priced. Choice of 5-6 places to dine and only wish we had more time to try them all. Special thanks to the staff in the executive lounge who made us feel like home. We will see you all again next year.
