« A hotel with wow factor but needs to improve service! »

The hotel is a magnificent building and furnished excellently for the appearance. However there are some things missing that would make the guest experience better - there was no comfortable chair in our bedroom or on our balcony. Marble looks great but is cold and hard to sit on so impossible to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Also there is no place to sit at a desk or table to write or work - where there is a knee hole in the bench at the side of the room there was a heavy wooden article taking up the space. Also no smooth surface to write on as all hammered metal. The bed though was very comfortable and sumptuous. There is also no full length mirror but I have noticed that that seems to be common in Vietnam. The designer worked on the appearance but not thinking of what a guest needs! Although friendly and trying to be helpful the staff were far from efficient - check in and check out took a very long time. I know the hotel has only been open for a short time but this really should have been sorted out by now. You get the feeling that they have not taken on staff or management who have experience in the hotel business. The breakfast situation was confusing - we were given one menu with prices in and one without and had to ask to check whether our breakfast was included in the price or not. Also one menu had duplicate copies of the same page. Very very slow to bring tea to the table - we had to ask several times when it was coming. We like our breakfast drink to come quickly then it doesn’t matter if the food takes longer. Having said all that the location, surroundings and the hotel itself were a truly enjoyable experience and we would still recommend highly - especially when all the facilities are completed. My husband is a Accorhotel member but as we booked through a travel agenct we had not given his number before arrival and did not have his details with us. The reception staff were not able to look up his number so we have not had points credited.

The hotel was still in its soft launch period, so there's time and room for improvement. I think you need to position this hotel as a place to come to be disconnected to the world. Otherwise missing items like TVs in the hotel rooms feels odd. Other little things like having only one Towel hook in a bathroom that is obviously going to be shared by two people is a simple oversight. (the round disc on the door makes a good towel rack by the way. This will also become a real issue if guests are using the gym and have no way of drying their washed gym gear (I'd suggest a removable clothes line in the shower, but lack of ventilation may be a problem. I think also the air conditioning in the room could be a problem for some guests. It was either too cold or too high flow air and quite difficult to get right. The staff are clearly still learning (english) in some case and basic serving in others, but I know they will improve. It took a long time on several occasions to get drinks / coffee served at the table in the dining area. The bar staff were completely overwhelmed when a number of people came in at once. The executive team were very friendly and I am sure will bring the right level of focus to the staff anf facility. I'd love to go back some day when all the amenitied are complete.

« Lovely as a start but room for improvement »

We loved the location, décor and peaceful, relaxing ambience of this hotel. Proximity to the cable lift, clean air and beautiful natural landscapes was a respite from hectic life in the city. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The only downsides were food and communication with staff. The Dinner buffet was nice, but a la carte options were lacking. The menu could be expanded to include more fresh salads. Too many of the savory dishes were sweetened with caramel or sugar, and healthy options were few. The staff were really nice and attentive, but lack of English language made even a simple request for an additional blanket and sheets seem complicated.

It was a very memorable stay even though the property isn’t yet complete. I can only imagine how amazing it will be once the wellness is operational. The property is stunning, I loved the detail that has gone into the design of the property. The location is also gorgeous and so tranquil.

Besides the noise from some inappropriate events in the hotel yard, the hotel was impressive. Bill Bensley would never let you down. The architecture, decorations are vibrate and unique. Markus and his team was doing very well. And thank you Mr Cong for your attention. We would definitely comeback when the hotel is finished to fulfill the experience that we missed this time.

« general feeling is good »

general feeling is good because of around environtment (mountain, peaceful feeling...), architecture, music, equipment, member's attitude & etiquette ... some not good points: - Food (need much improvement) - 1st floor at night is alitle horror (need to find solution to make it better) - and minor one: my favorite T-shirt still there because of Reception, hope you will find out and return to me.

Staff were very helpful, in general good English. Personalised service with staff acknowledging us by name. Accommodation very unique and bed was comfortable and we had a wonderful nights sleep. However, the children of guests were very noisy both inside and outside which spoilt the tranquility.. It would have been good to know what was actually in the resort to do. We were shown the restaurant and bar, but did not know that there was a small village on the otherside of the central courtyard with shops and a restaurant. A map or plan of the resort and surrounding areas would have been very helpful. None of the above was in the room compendium.

The property is exquisite, though not completed yet. the staff are attentive without being overbearing. we had an excellent experience with one staff member who offered to be our guide on to Yen Tu mountain in his own time, refused to take a tip
