Minibar did not work, so had to get it changed, tv signal was bad and channels flickering, it was not a internet connected tv, and only possible connection was HDMI. A guest would not be carrying one, i believe that is one of the most basic thing that should be present in rooms, but i had to call and ask and turned out that there is no service like that, and the hotel expected me to watch flickering channels. Like other five stars, no speaker, no media input options, basically no entertainment, that is not a five star hotel its like a 2 star sleep lodge. Rude customer service and room service staff, upon expressing my concerns, the reply would always sound like "this is the way how it happens here, no other option" are you guys doing a favour on your guests or what, dubai has countless number of five stars, either step up, either close down. I want my refund, it was not worth even a penny of what i paid. When told the manager this, he said we cannot refund agent and online bookings as it is not in our control, if you guys cannot handle agent bookings then dont list your hotel online. And later they charged me money for the call made from the phone to the duty manager, i said i will not pay, this is not my problem, first off you are calling this a 5 star, and behaving like some 2 star hotel people where you dont care about the guest, and you want money for that.

We always stay here whenever we are on a trip to Diera, Dubai. I find this hotel unique in that it provides its guests with an elegant stay through its great services in the old part of Dubai. Its attachment with the Ghurair mall comes handy, too. Highly recommended.

All is outstanding except the carpets in the hotel and mainly in guest room!! I suggest to take it out or you have to clean it by shampoo every time your guest check out!! it is worst and scratching your hotel image.

I'm so angry because I arrived to your hotel two times at 8.00 am according to my airway flight, and I asked the employee in the front disc to give me a room as I was so tired but he refused because of your informations. No way to check in before noon!! Even by paying any extra money!!! Then he asked me for next time to book a 2 nights, one before my arriving and another after that, so i can get my room at early morning!!! How come like that??? All my staying in your hotel was 15 hours, why should i pay for 2 nights to get one room for less than one day???? Then i wait for more than 3 hours until i get one room!! Front disc employee told my that's because there is no any empty room, but in fact there are a lot of empty room!! Off course I prefer your hotel, As it's a very nice and very comfortable one, but I'm still angry because of this issue that I explained in above. In case of your late check in, I can rate 5/10 for your hotel, while if there is early check in, For sure your hotel will be rated 10/10 Thank you for your concern about your guest

Our staybwas quite satisfying given the unforseen circumstances that occurred. We has some issues with the room, however, the wonderful staff memebers at the hotel swiftly remedied the situation by providing us with substitute room. Mr Jasur (at the front desk) and the head of housekeeping were especially curteous.

One of the best hotels I've stayed at. Nothing to complain about. Located inside the mall with access to many restaurants nearby and also very close to the metro. Breakfast variety is huge and tasty. Room itself is nice and comfortable. Sleep pillow catalogue is a nice extra! Felt very well looked after during my stay. Will definitely return!

Let me put this in two categories Lets talk about good things 1. I have got complimentary upgrade as Gold member - Good 2. Check in was quick (its because i have made few calls and requested Mr. Mina to keep things ready) despite that its - Good 3. Room quality was super, huge room, good options in tv, nice view etc - Good 4. Location - Good 5. Mr. Mina and his team friendly even the duty Manager at night was friendly and helpful - Good Now the bad things 6. We were not offered complimentary welcome drink voucher - bad 7. Though we checked out very early but i have requested for late check out till 6 as gold memner which i should get if available and i checked on availability too however not given and i have been told they will check and come back - bad 8. Usually room upgrade such as suite comes with lounge access and despite i have requested it was not given - bad 9. I have also requested for a complimentary breakfast for one not given - bad 10. The lighting in room is bit low or dark and the ac wasnt working well means despite we tried many times but it wasnt cold and the water wasnt hot - bad 11. Lot of noise on the floor i guess due to room 722 and 721 a family staying and continously going out n knocking each other door and there was a time they turned the fire alarm too which caused bit of panic - very bad I havent used the gym pool bar spa and other facilities but im sure its fantastic. I know you cant get anything and everything in the world but as it was a my first stay they should have considered and given me some if not all.

Our stay at this hotel was, quite simply, exceptional. We were lucky enough to be upgraded, and we were allowed to check in early; this latter concession to us was greatly appreciated after a 17 hour flight from New Zealand. The staff were all helpful and friendly and all hotel facilities were excellent; we wished we had been staying longer!
