« Below expectations »

Bad experience 20 min To be attended at reception, despite being on the member lane fast checkin because no priority was granted on the priority lane. No welcoming drink Told me that breakfast was not included Air cond broken in my room Book a taxi for the day after, but finally they forgot it, thus I arrived late on my meeting. Nobody talks properly English. I think it is unadapted for such city in such international hotel brand.

« room ok but service need to be improved »

staying 1 full week at this hotel, I couldn't expect more than being in downtown. so the location is quite convenient. While having room check-in on the first day, they seemed to not have any idea of what is a Gold card member in Accor, they were even asking us to buy Huazhu memeber card with many more advantages than if being a Gold card member from Accor. The rooms were ok but the reception had to move us to another room as there was no water anymore. Any way we moved.

There is no significant notice that there is no window for the standard room when booking online. the floor was not cleaned when I checked in. Also the tea bag was not refilled.

« A good experience »

I was very happy with the room, especially the smart lighting (with all lights controlled from the bedside), the smart TV, wifi, and Japanese style toilet (a first for me). Some of the downsides were the lack of English language skills from the staff, the lack of a bar, welcome drink, and the limited hours of the restaurant (we finally made breakfast once, but lunch/dinner hours didn't work). The breakfast was very good, and it caters well for both locals and foreigners.

« Good stay but some noise is there »

Hotel location is great. 10mins walk from 2 nearest mrt station A bad thing is the hotel are in renovation. So you will hear a lot of noise even at 10PM

It was a great experience. I found Mecure this month and have stayed at three different Mercure. It’s very valuable and worth it. The only I found disturbing was that I found hair on the sheets and pillowcases. I do find Thai very common but I believe the hotel will be better if housekeepers are more careful with hair in the room.

« A modern oasis »

Check in went really well (the lady checking me in was in training and did great). Loved the toilet. Had a hard time finding the hotel as it is not properly listed on google maps or apple maps and it is a bit of a walk from nearest metro. But I had a great sleep and enjoyed the ability to relax in a familiar setting with Accor and Mercure.

« Good to stay, but still have spaces for improvement! »

The quality of room is OK for a business trip and the reception is pretty warm for the members. The location looks not very good for its entrance, especially the taxi can not come in the lobby door when it's raining.

It's not a big one, but the faclities are in high standard and makes me feel stay in a 5 start hotel. The place is near Yu Yuan where's a famouse old town look place of Shanghai.
