It was generally very pleasant, the design of the hotel and the hotel room was very nice. However it was slight inconvenient to get to the hotel room as I had to switch elevators on the 5th floor. Another thing is that the rubber water proof sealing at the shower room came off which made it impossible to close the shower door fully, this was rather surprising when I saw it as this is a very new hotel. On the good side the service from the hotel staff was amazing, I was always treated nicely with a warm welcome.

As I stated in google review, hardware is pretty good as we all know that it was just opened in May this year, facilities are being maitained very well, room size is fair big enough according to its pricing (I have tried two types of rooms which are executive room and gerneral king size). I love the mini bar at leverl 5, which enables me to enjoy the snacks and drinks all the time. I have to say some issues that i believe they can be improved. First, I hope the staff can enable the lobby more organised and keep the order more better. secondly, I was supposed to get some benefits from my Accor Plus membership as I was told that I can enjoy the fast check–in and check–out services, which I also saw the membership special service counter. Please keep the visitors away from the hotel guest areas, I think more and more people is coming for just taking photos instead of enjoying the services. Keep everything in good orders in order to ensure the guests' living experiences. Finally, staff is professional and welcomed, environment is great except the annoying visitors matters. keep doing well in the future. I like this hotel generally.

We have a smooth checking in , but staffs is unfamiliar with le club membership benefits. Eg upgrades of rooms , benefit for restaurants dining. But I can understand as you are newly open. Many people were taking photos in the hotels but we are ok . Free drinks and food is a great addition features for the guests. But I have to say not all the guests are aware. The rooms cleaning are not perfect, as our 2 x bottles of water are not refilled the next day. We also noticed there is a empty can drink in the refrigerator !!! But as I say it is newly open n rooms of improvement. We notice some guests still smoke in the lobby or rooms , so more notice has to inform the guests in advance. We have stayed on 14-15 July , we just got ur survey this 2 weeks abit too late.

A very wonderful hotel within walking distance to shopping mall that have a lot of eateries. Most important, it is less than 10 minutes walking distance to Guangzhou Subways Line 2 and 5. Staffs are very helpful and friendly who are very willing to extend their assistance anytime when needed. Good job to the team of Grand Mercure Guangzhou Zhujiang New Town. Will 100% return when I come back to Guangzhou.

Room have smell, may be due to new innovation. Poor carpark, need to use coupon and go pay station to leave carpark. Inconvenience that the reception at 5th without clear sign. Also, 15th floor is another hotel, and other people going to the mall still go to wrong lifts. Poor tap at the bathroom, whole table got wet bcos the length of tap is too short. I ask for room clean up twice before I go dinner in 2 different days and nothing happened in both cases when I back. Thats totally unacceptable.

The services from front desk, housekeeping, catering are extremely good. I would qualify it is 5 star hotel except that there is no pool. Although there are some repair work , as we checked in 4 days after their opening. That would disturb us as there was staff guide us a detour way for us to approach the guest lift. The pleasant surprise is the 24 hours free mini snacks corner. All those are finger food n lots of drinks choices like red , white wine , pops , hot n ice lemon tea , juice , distilled water , you name it. The ambience of the hotel is good , in light blue n European style which make you feel very relaxing . We’ve got an upgrade to our room which was another pleasant surprise. The location is excellent, 5-10 min walk to all shopping arcade which you can spend a few days shopping there. Gym is just minimum, got treadmill, cross trainer , cycling although some of them can’t switch on . I guess it is bcos if it is too new . In love the hotel so much . Especially the 24 hrs mini snack corner , they are very attentive n keep serving me with hot water while I hv drank it all. I didn’t ask for but they are very attentive . Polite n smile on their faces . The door man on the ground floor can give me direction to different places I wanna go. Front desk concierge is good, provide us map to tour around the area . The location is 5 min from mtr. Really excellent n you hv 4 train lines to take while staying there . One minor improvement is the shower place hv water leakage , which we had to put a anti-slip mat. Swinging on rainfall n shower head has no sign , so you might get wet when u switch to rainfall mode. One important improvement is the floor mat in front of the bathroom table , I almost fell down a couple of times as the mat is not stick on the floor. This is important if the client fell down n get injury . Hope you watch out for that !
