Staff speaks vers bad english. Would suggest that everybody os making langage rainer 2x tomes à week. Dont know enough about service...specially at table. Very good good and buffet ! Compliment tout thé chef!!!! No concierge.....nobady able tout give information you cant do this in 5 star hôtel. I could lift you to this level... ans beeing à top hôtel. You have a vers good qualité ratio. You miss à lot of good opportunities tout develop yourien business.

We stayed there September 26 through October 6. The room and view was nice but the bed was horrendous. I've never slept in such an uncomfortable bed my entire life. Never. It was hard as though I was sleeping in a cave on a rock. I informed front desk, housekeeping put a pad. Didn't help. I had housekeeping put 3 mattress pads and it became fine enough to bare through it. A comfortable bed is one of the most important things in a luxury hotel. This hotel is marketed as luxury but miserably fails to provide the level of service. Waiters in the restaurant were always very overwhelmed. We constantly heard knives and forks being thrown in buckets throughout the meals. We asked for tea/drinks 2-3 times before we got it at the tables in all our meals. Waiters either forgot or the lines of waiters in front of the drink serving stations were so long that waiters had to wait 5-10 minutes so they can grab drinks and serve. Alcohol was non-existent in cocktails. Definitely not the luxury experience I had hoped for... Everyone was so busy catering to the Russians... Which is fine but hey we paid to be there as well. I didn't feel special at all. Ladies were standing at the entrance and just lookong at you, your clothes, judging you... No one says hello or smiles. Why are you standing there if you aren't going to say welcome. Isn't thar the point of a hostess? Or are you just going to stand there with your heels on? The reason our overall stay was ok and not horrendous was because the room was nice except for the bed. The view was nice. The beach was nice. I will not try any other Rixos hotel ever again.

« Great Experience at the Rixos Bodrum. »

We had a wonderful experience at Rixos Bodrum and will come back again because of the outstanding service from all the employees there. We were greeted by the lovely Pinar upon check in and really felt like special guests by the way she was so warm and friendly checking us in. She put us in a beautiful pair of rooms that had a stunning view of the water. Every meal was delicious and there was always plenty of variety at the hotel. My favorite ice cream guy, Furkan, said hello every single day and was always there to give us a warm smile. Oguz, Emine, Rumeysa and Kadir were always there to make sure we had plenty to eat, fresh tea and coffee and are a wonderful team in the restaurant. Oguz even pointed out all the fun things to do at the hotel as well! The shuttle bus drivers always got us there and were so helpful to our elderly parents making it easy for them to go about the large hotel. A special thanks to the absolute best employee at the hotel, Mr. Gokhan Sari, the front office manager who really made sure we had an amazing experience. When I forgot some clothing at the hotel, he even went out of his way to personally find the items I left behind and took the time to get them and send them to me overnight! It is because of these employees we had the BEST holiday experience and we will recommend RIXOS to everyone we know!

Good overall Wife had facial treatment at centre and the manageress of facility was unprofessional and made my wife deeply deeply upset. She was charged full treatment cost of 110 Euro but didn't turn up so was treated by assistant Wife felt cheated and humiliated and angry Salman Rixos had excellent salon....which is why she tried bodrum salon

« Beautiful hotel but staff lack charm and language skills »

Almost every aspect of the hotel was amazing. The rooms were great, they were clean, the beach, the pools, the spa and the gym were incredible. The food was delicious and the entertainment great too. The hotel could improve in a few areas: We previously stayed in Hotel Forever Club in Bodrum city before coming to the Rixos and we had the most amazing animation team who would go around all day speaking to people, making them feel welcome, organising activities. I don't know if Rixos has an animation team but we didn't meet anyone from there. Only one person in the entire staff took the time to have a conversation with us, I think he was a manager in the kitchens but he said he was leaving to go to Dubai for a few months. Whoever he was he was incredible. One issue I did have with the hotel was the food. There are people with allergies that die if food is not labelled correctly and as kitchen staff do not always speak great english asking them can lead to nowhere. Please see a recent article in the news on the subject: https://news.sky.com/video/vertical-video-natasha-plane-ugc-001mp11… Food is never labelled to say if it is vegetarian or vegan and some food just says meat but does not tell you what meat it is. For religious reasons I do not eat beef and every dish with meat I had to ask someone what it is and got different answers. One person told me a dish was lamb and a second said the same dish was mixed beef and lamb. When it came to ordering drinks simple usually the cocktails were wrong, we would ask for a melon mojito and get a plain one with no flavour etc. When staff come around to take the drinks their english wasn't good enough for them to understand to say no please leave the drink I am not finished and there would always be an awkward misunderstanding. Also in the spa the signs clearly say no children in the sauna but plenty of people were bringing in noisy children which was rather annoying when you are trying to relax.

We stayed in Rixos Premium Hotels before but this time the experience was not premium. Mostly the service in the main restaurant was awful (in smoking area); the waiters try not to eye contact you, if by chance you ask one waiter to bring you something he/she never brings your drink. They don't refill your minibar, when you call and inform the guest relations they say that they already filled it without filling it. We had to ask three times for buggy service and we received it within 40 minutes. We won't be staying at Rixos Premium Bodrum for sure. But despite all these bad experiences I want to thank some waiters for their awesome hospitality and work; Mr. Hüseyin and Mr. Cuma from Zeytinaltı, Ms. Emine from main restaurant, Mr. Mustafa from Kalamata and all the waiters from main scaffolding.
