I'm staying every year twice since 2015 in RIXOS and I seen an improvement every time for better to best. The service is amazing the staff everywhere are helpful and do their best to satisfy our needs. The Rooms are clean and the view is amazing on both side but I still prefer the Pool Side instead of the Burj Al Arab view as there is noise from the jet ski and boats. The food is great the Turca restaurant has an amazing service and the food is always plenty and the number of dishes is great " but last time and this is not usual the orange juice on the breakfast look cheap" but maybe it's me. Overall great experience and brilliant service.

We recently stopped in Dubai for 5 nights to break up the journey from the UK back to Australia and we really enjoyed our stay at The Rixos :) Pros: - I would highly recommend the Toro Loco Steakhouse, which is actually part of the AI package. The Manager, Isa, and our server, Firzan, provided outstanding service and entertainment throughout the entire evening. Definitely one of the most memorable meals I think we have ever had - thank you :) - Our dinner in the other Italian a la carte restaurant was delicious too (but make sure you book in advance!) - The quality and variety of the buffet - particularly at lunchtime - was excellent - Great balcony views and a fantastic location to experience The Palm and everything it has to offer - Fantastic selection of drinks, including top shelf spirits - Despite working very long hours, most of the waiters around the beach area went above and beyond bringing us drinks regularly and helping us with towels and the umbrella Cons: - Outside of Toro Loco there isn't really an indoor bar/entertainment area with music and A/C - I am sure this would be welcomed in the hot summer months! - We found that the dinner buffet was the same as the lunch buffet most days - One of my emails to the restaurant reservations team was ignored which meant that we almost missed out on the Toro Loco experience - We had to ask multiple times to get a bottle opener sent up to our room when we found ours was missing - Sometimes it was difficult to find free sunbeds as people seemed to be 'reserving' them before going to breakfast - It got a little annoying having to sign for every single drink. Perhaps a AI wristband would be better? It would not be fair to rate the hotel down because of this as it's not an 'adults only' resort, however we found that there were loads of families with children who seemed to spread out across all of the pool areas. It might be a good idea for management to consider designating a 'quiet pool' with enough sunbeds for couples who want to relax, especially when there is a kids club with a large water play area anyway.

To keep it precise: - no early or late check out - debate with staff about the free drinks vouchers - very poor breakfast: quantity over quality - slow room service: 1 hr wait when told 25 minutes - spacious room As a gold member expect better service. Seemed like a lack of staff and training apart from the receptionist.

Fabulous hotel, amazing food, friendly and helpful staff who made my daughters 13th Birthday extra special with room decorations and cake and more cake in the evening in the restaurant! (After asking, They even provided rope so I could put up my own balloons! ) The only downside was we were promised on several days we could participate in water sports to be then told the company providing it has closed down and there was no water sports as advertised -disappointed children!

Our stay was awesome, the room upgrade was a bonus, the breakfast buffet and the welcome drinks was great as expected. Good beach and not crowded. Issues in our room (1430) were the TV color not great and water from the shower coming out even if the shower room door was closed, please have a look and rectify.

I was unpleased of my stay this time. The checking took over 45 min, the staff was unfriendly and impatient. The pool water was warmer then the sea and dirty, plenty of disgusting objects in the bottom of the pool. Having changed the rules of ordering food by the pool is extremely disappointing affecting the experience. I used to enjoy your Friday brunch, however the breakfast menu was beyond disappointing, food selection was poor, food took forever to be refilled. We had to wait for 4o min to get our eggs order. The staff was lost and not responsive. The kids food selection was awful, feeding kids pasta and nuggets at 8 am is unacceptable, nothing healthy or breakfast worthy was displayed. Even the dinner the night before we wanted to experience your buffet in the new tower, even more disappointing, food ran out before we even started eating at 9, staff were cleaning and and not interested to serve us. It’s quite a shame, as the rooms are beautiful, so is the idea of free fruits on the pool, everything else is a big fail

while the front desk and main pool staff were very friendly there are definitely other areas to improve on.... even the kids wanted me to put this feedback: a) Adults pool was the only chilled pool while the rest was warm and the kids wanted to use it only for that reason but, of course, were not allowed (which I understand but no chilled water feature was made available on this hot day) b) egg station should only take sequential guest orders. The restaurant waiter stand next to him taking orders was a complete mess as others in other table got their omelets by themselves much before when we ordered.... had to go 2 times and stand the third to make it happen. c) while I understand the concept of some food getting finished earlier in buffets and replaced with another, I didn't expect the muesli and choco cereal which was finished when we came to breakfast 9:30 to be replaced with normal boring cereal. d) at another day, the adult pool was very filthy in one corner (we think it was someone's vomit) and when we told the pool guard, he did no action to inform the guest and close it for cleaning. simply got his net to collect the surface floating dirt. e) first aid at the end large pool took too long to come with security for only a minor skin scrap and didnt deal with it quickly and effectively (needs more training). f) beach peddle activities not available! anyways, overall, you can do much much better...

Room, service and food was excellent, however, was disappointed with a couple of elements: 1) some restaurants were not open in line with the timescales suggested in the information provided on arrival. 2) one of the reasons we chose this hotel was for the non motorised water sports as having a 14 year old sun this was going to form a way of entertaining him - however, this was not available for the week due to a change in company provider - I would have liked to have been advised of this in advance to avoid the disappointment on arrival.

Arrival - very quick in getting us to our room as we arrived early hours due to delay on plane. Even offered us food for the children. Didn’t really like our first room but you transferred us to another room immediately. One thing to note is that you should explain earlier that the room wasn’t in the original building we came to the Year before as this slightly unsettled us. Food - yet again quality of food was superb in all restaurants. Special mention to the staff as the Italian restaurant whom really went they extra mile to ensure we had a great night. Also Wilson in the main restaurant was superb once again. He really knows how to make you feel welcome. Wide variety of food to enjoy. Rooms - what can I say, very spacious and kept immaculate by the cleaners. Mini bar stocked up each day. Very impressed Pool - loved all the pools and thought the temperature in each one is perfect. The only slight issue was the swim up bar. I think this needs a bit of maintenance as looking a bit tired compared to the rest of the hotel. Also I don’t think you have enough staff as was waiting longer fir a drink this time around then our previous stay, which sometimes deterred is going there. Hotel - a stunning hotel, excellent staff whom know exactly how to treat their guests. Very clean and spacious with plenty of places to relax in the evening. If possible it would be good to have some sort of entertainment in the evening but not a deal breaker for us to return back for a third time next year.

We are a family of 5, we all enjoyed Dubai so much & to top it off we managed to find availability at the Rixos Palm as we booked at last minute. Great location at the end of the Palm, all service available, free hotel shuttle bus goes to the Emirates shopping mall 3 or 4 times a day, safety & security as you would expect, food was great in all their restaurants for kids & adults everyday and the services from all hotel staff was incredible. Extremely pleased with Rixos hotel resort & we are pleased that we didn’t book the Atlantis Hotel which we visited few miles up the same road but didn’t like as it’s overcrowded and so busy all the time. We will be going back to Rixos again before the World Cup starts.

Hotel need renovation. I would say the hotel have 4 star rating. Dirty pools. Same food every day except Friday and Saturday. Broken sunbeds. Poor cleaning in the room. Very poor breakfast to take away even for a kid. Design of hotel its looks like from 1990 s. Would not stay again.
