« Nice and affordable stay in London »

The hotel is new and comfortable, in a beautiful building; nice design solutions with comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms. In the room there is a kettle for tea and coffee, a good and varied continental breakfast. Nice lobby and bar; very kind and helpful staff. Finally, the location is very convenient, 100 m from Gloucester Road, in zone 1, on the Circle, District and Piccadilly lines. Many shops and restaurants in the area

« Good position was the best thing »

The hotel is in a very good position regarding the nearest tube station, food market, restaurants and many other facilities. According to our wishes, our room facing a quiet yard, not the busy road. The room was very small, no chairs and no tables, so you had to be on the bed the whole time when in room. The fact that there were no hand towels was odd, we thought. One of the bath towels was dirty already, when we got into the room, but it was changed without hesitation, when I complained about it. The breakfast was OK, though not lavish.

The hotel was a 2 minute walk from the nearest tube station.The staff were very friendly and helpful . Breakfast was fantastic a good selection of water you wanted.

The experience was not what I expected. I'm an accor club member and choose to stay with your hotel family in all my trips. This hotel was under remodeling and had a lot of dirt and inconveniences. No carpet on the floor for some of the days and leakage in the room. The room wasn't ready upon arrival and body wash was not replaced during the whole stay. Breakfast had very limited options. I understand that the Ibis hotels are the least expensive of all the accor hotels but this one was truly in a bad shape.

Unfortunately there was no information about ongoing renovation in this hotel when I booked room via accorhotels.com site. Very unpleasant surprise! And I was very dissapointed and unhappy! I have stayed in several IBIS hotels before and always had a good experience. I do not think that AccorHotels cares about their customers if they charge money but do not let you know about construction work going on at the hotel! Such behavior leaves unreliable impression!

« A very pleasant stay »

I stayed for two nights and was extremely satisfied. The room was nice (I had asked for a quiet one and got it), the bed as expected (firm, just the way I like it) and everything in good working order (except the heater/air conditioner, which had been replaced by two electrical radiators that provided plenty of warmth). The selection at breakfast was fine for me, although I heard others talk about it being somewhat limited. I didn't interact much with the staff, but on the whole they seemed like a friendly bunch. All in all an enjoyable stay.

« Great budget hotel. good location. »

The hotel is undergoing refurbishment and therefore the public corridors and stairs are littered and dusty. However, my room was clean and very comfortable with everything I needed for a good overnight stay. The staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast is self service buffet style continental and served in the lower ground restaurant which was clean and comfortable. Overall, I was very satisfied.

« You pay for what you get »

The room decoration was tasteful, however room 822 was awful, no wardrobe no internet, and an intolerable noise from he room fan, the staff relocated me to another room which I found out in the morning was next to the store room, and the staff obviously needed to in and out, unfortunately making a noise. The heating was not that much better although I did turn it on to make sure while a member of staff it was working at the time it worked, however through the night it too made a noise, and so I had to leave it off during the night so it didn’t disturb me.
