We just loved our first stay! Our room faced the zoo and it was great to hear the animals. The soundproof windows were useful during the night. The design of our room and the reception along with space to work or have meetings was pretty cool. During the breakfast we again could enjoy the panoramic view over the zoo. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back!

'We're all a bit crazy here' said the receptionist. No, we are crazy for booking here. Massively overpriced and the so-called 'view of the zoo animals' is a couple of monkies if you brought a telescope. In their self-styled hypercool bar where - hey - you don't need a reservation if you're a guest the drinks were almost as expensive as the room. This is riding on Berlin's cool reputation to rip people off. Avoid.

Hello DommyWaddle Thank you for your feedback. Since we are an hotel at the Zoo and not in there is a certain distance to the animal-cages. If you are in need of binoculars we rent them out for free. Since the monkeybar is a cocktailbar the prices are accordingly set, compared to the area. Depending on the date of your stay the prices for the room may vary, depending on the conventions in Berlin. This was our first time staying at the hotel although we'd visited the Monkey bar and Neni on previous occasions. The hotel is so thoughtfully designed from the entrance to the lobby and the rooms. It is unlike any other hotel we've stayed in and the vibe is very eclectic and arty. Check in was straightforward and the staff were very helpful. The room was small but clean and well designed/decorated. We loved the free mini bar and the LP player and all the lovely smelling bath and body products. The staff were happy for us to use the vast seating area in the lobby where we could chill with our friends late into the night. The location was great and we could walk or take public transport to all the main sights in the city. Having Tiergarten on our doorstep and the Monkey bar and Neni on the rooftop was an added bonus. We highly recommend experiencing this hotel and would love to come back.

Hands-down the coolest hotel I've been to! The room was amazing. I was in the large jungle room, so the view of the zoo was wonderful, and the room has so many cool features - the thought about everything! The staff was super-helpful whenever I needed anything. No doubt I'll be coming again soon!

Very fun funky central Berlin Hotel - right next to the Zoo - close to the shops & bars, the beautiful squares & holy churches, you can feel the roar of the urban jungle! Beautiful bed. The hammock was great. Amazing restaurant with awesome views of the city - day and night!
