« Generally good, just let down by 2 major points and a minor one. »

Generally good, staff very professional and welcoming. Food was nice as well (breakfast, dinner & room service). My only issues with my stay was the following... Air Conditioning, not really working? Had 18 selected but even with high blasting all night it never really got below 22/23. Made some evenings uncomfortable to sleep. Shower - Water pressure, very low water pressure for the overhead shower. Not very enjoyable. Bathroom Mirror (Minor point), perhaps a light which shines on your face? The spot light casts a lot of shadows on the face and makes it hard to see in the mirror.

Clean hotel which is renovated. Cleaning staff need to be more meticulous in replenishing small things like coffee, cookies etc in the room. Reception staff also need to pay attention to waiting customers. Over all good

Hotel was as expected - clean and comfortable room, friendly staff and quiet. I was suprised to have to pay for a bus to get me from the airport terminal to the hotel - this should be a free service and would certainly make me consider my options another time.

« Excellent rooms and their facilitie. Lack of shopping facilities in the hotel. »

The rooms were excellent and so were the facilities within them. BUT, bar far to expensive. Also it did not have any real ale CASK). There were no shopping facilities in the hotel, nor locally. I had to travel by bus to Stansted airport to buy odd thing like a news paper.

« So so hotel »

Hotel is nice but just found it a bit of no personal touch to be honest food was good in restaurant and staff very good, I asked to book a taxi to get is to airport which did not turn up we was then late for check in and was the rushing through airport, to be completely honest the receptionist was non existent and not at all bothered that are taxi did not turn up. I’d also expect at a airport hotel to be given info on return or at least a taxi number to call on arrival home which wasn’t. I wouldn’t stay here again for those reasons and will be putting in a formal complaint

Family rooms small. No good for older kids. Meals in restaurant expensive. Breakfast ok but sausages were weird and anaemic looking. Bacon was greasy and fatty. The hotel was further away from airport than we thought. We parked in long stay arking and ended up having to get a coach to the airport and then another coach back to the hotel which is close to parking but the airport coach wouldn't stop for us.

Our family rooms consist of one double bed and a pull out sofa bed which can accommodate either 3 adults or a maximum of 2 adults and 2 young children sharing. This is outlined on our website however I am sorry you were not aware of this prior to your arrival at the hotel. I was concerned to read your feedback regarding the food in the restaurant. Please be assured that this is not our usual high standard and the Head Chef joins me in apologising for any inconvenience this caused to your stay. Very unhappy with the restaurant staff and service (20 minutes for a omelet and breakfast room empty ,first excuse when we request something is there is a delay because the cooker is very busy,this happen in all days of our booking), beside that very arrogant lady staff in bar (foreign) We were not adviced but hotel laundry technical problems and this could get us in big problem with our crew uniforms. Hotel get a solution using other machine but the clothes weren't good and we had to iron ourselves. Then charged 19 GP for the service. Very nice people on checking desk and also in house keeping,the rooms very well clean and nice atmosphere.

Nobody reads the requests part of reservation, asked for early check in around 8 am even if I have to pay the night before, no response, at the end had to wait till 10 am for early check in in lobby.

« Pleasant and convenient stay »

Check-in was a little slow but that was just bad luck as a number of people arrived ahead of me. Service at check-in regarding transport options was excellent. Beautiful clean and comfortable hotel that I would recommend to anyone flying out of Stansted or connecting avail of.

Couldn’t fault the hotel when I was there. Food was lovely in resturant. Staff were friendly. However, signage and directions to the hotel were difficult and ended up spending 1 hour driving around Stanstead airport trying to locate the hotel, and when it phoned for assistance I got no answer which was frustrating.
