The room & bed was OK overall, but the service was dissapointing. When I ordered dinner to room, they forgot one more meal that I ordered. Room was supposed to be cleaned but there was hair on bathroom floor- thus they didnt clean it. When booking, breakfast was not included while it had to be included by default so that guest coming on business trip do not need to worry/arrange it.

The hotel is getting better. I've stayed here for years. But please do something about the beds. It's like sleeping on the floor. They're extremely hard. Good breakfast,good location.

I stayed for 4 days and everyday I asked for the bill for transfer and the staff didn't provide it telling that it is now in the finance service. Then I asked to mail the scan copy, but up to day I didn't receive it....

I liked it, the room was always clean when I came back to it, that made a good impression, however, the breakfast can be changed from time to time, however I cannot complaint the food was always fresh and good.

« Very nice Hotel next to a mall with a Grocery Store. McDonalds just up the street. »

Located near the Metro (about 10 min walk). Local transit bus comes from the secondary airport to the hotel area. Uber $10usd to Borispol Airport. Note though there will be no help from the bus driver - no English. Metro was cheap to use. Metro was 3 - 5 stops to tourist area. Underpass is not lit so not good at night. Grocery store next door. There is a restaurant connected which was quite good and reasonably priced. Front desk people were very friendly and helpful. In room internet was excellent. 2 free bottles of water per day. Would stay again.

The hotel room was very small ..... very cramped ..... uncomfortably so .... the food in the buffet restaurant was only fair ..... the bread couldn’t be toasted as Westerners expect ..... some of the food was stale ..... and caused a bad reaction .... Fried camernbert was stale and not healthy and served cold ..... the music playing in the restaurant was jarring and the sound system was faulty making objectionable noises ..... the hot water in the rooms was not always “ hot”

This has been my first stay at your hotel. There is no bigger difference between your hotel and another Mercure located somwhere in Europe. Before I used many other hotels located in the center of Kyiv, but your offer fully meets my expectations.

I stayed in your esteemed hotel MERCURE KYIV CONGRESS, VADIMA HETMANA STREET-6, KIEV, UKRAINE., for 6 nights from 11 June 2018 to 17 June 2018. My booking reference # was EZR-20…. I was in ROOM # 516. I am so glad with very positive, friendly, polite and professional approach of your staff members from top to bottom. However, there was a minor issue with air condition on 17 June 2018. Since early morning on 17 June, water was dripping from the A/C unit and room carpet was wet including my few material. But your housekeeping & technical team rushed to room upon my request and suddenly reacted in a positive attitude. The above incident makes me bit upset. But, apart from the above incident I am so happy with your good and professional services. Of course, I do not considered the above A/C incident in a negative way. I took this in a positive spirit and treated as this is the part of the show, which is a technical problem, which is beyond our control. Therefore, no need to worry much. However, I would like to come again and stay in your hotel, so that I can feel the hospitality again. I am planning to come to Kiev again on 6th December 2018, for a week. I wish I get the same hospitality which I got in my last stay (11-6-18 to 17-6-18). Overall, I am much happy and satisfied with your tremendous services. I wish all the best for your esteemed organization.

« Room cleaning at 5:45 AM on Saturday - very negative experience »

I woke up at 5:45 am on Saturday night. I could not recognise the source of the noise. Approximately at 6 AM I went out to corridor and learnt that the cleaning lady was vacuum cleaning the next room (with the open door). The source of the noise was not only the sound of vacuum cleaner but the the hits of vacuum cleaner head to the pieces of furniture and room walls. I asked the cleaning lady to postpone the cleaning till 9 AM at least. She said that she could not stop the cleaning due to the management order to finish the cleaning ASAP after the guest had left the room. I asked her how to stop the cleaning. Cleaning lady recommended me to discuss the issue with the Receptionist. After this conversation, barefooted, I went downstairs and asked receptionist to stop the cleaning. On top of it I asked the receptionist the phone number of the Hotel manager. She advised me that the Hotel manager might be sleeping at this time of the day (I think that it's applicable to the hotel guests as well!) and that Manager number can not be given to hotel guests. The cleaning was stopped. And for the sleep and the complete day was ruined. Honestly I have not seen/experienced such early cleaning procedures in Mercure chain hotels as well as in other hotel chains (especially on weekends when the hotel usually is not fully occupied). Could you please organise the cleaning procedure in a way that the hotel guests could sleep at least till 9 AM on weekends. PS: Please note that the complaint is not about Cleaning lady. She was doing what she was asked to do.
