The room was nice and the proximity to everything in Auckland by foot was very good. The hotel is in a loud area near night clubs that party goers are loud into early hours of the night. Lighting is on the low side in the bathroom and bedroom.

The location is great. The staff are helpful and friendly. Room was clean. The major issue were the curtains - being on Queen St it's light all night. And the curtains aren't blackout. So the room was like day light. All night long. I stayed for 4 nights and didn't really sleep.

5 stars to the head chef, his team and the hotel, highly recommend ♥️

Absolutely beautiful hotel, from food and fittings to decor.. but the person I really want to give all the stars to on this occasion is the Head Chef (Jay) who has single handedly made the most delicious buttermilk fried chicken recipe I have ever tasted. It’s worth a visit just for this… you will not be disappointed I promise! Thanks team, especially Jay, Fable is so lucky to have you!
