Typically 5-10 minutes wait for elevator each morning. Only 2 of 4 elevators seemed to be working most of the time - very very slow.

i was a regular at your hotel 2 years ago when it was still branded as Raddison Blue, i did enjoy my stays than and did enjoy my stay this time, quality is good, got a free upgrade i assume based on my silver membership with le club, the room was decent but could use some paint here and there, the minibar was pachted up with paper (room 1310) quite intertesting workaround. I will be back for sure due to the location and the kidness of your people. thanks chris

Reception friendly and fast, breakfast ok. Rooms ok too but the green corridor is like in a construction site. Was a modern hotel once, need renovation to be again.

The bathrobe give me itch meaning it's hasn't been washed for a while. No power point by the bed side to charge mobile phone. The toilet on ground floor needs card to access so can't use after checkout in the morning while waiting for taxi, what a stingy hotel!

We got a e-mail from hotelbeds 3 days ago, and we replied that your credit card deposit had revoked upon your check out. Because the deposit release process like a international process. First our hotel do the revoke process then transfer to hotel local bank after then transfer to international credit card centre, then transfer to your credit card issue bank. It need take time, normally it need about one month. Sorry for the inconvenience caused. We feel very sorry for your stay experience didn’t meet your expectations and we accepted hotelbeds’ advise for 25% as compensation for the inconveniences caused. Overall good. Room ok, spacious but a bit "muffy" - I think mainly due to the carpet which is challenging in the environment. It took a very long time to get warm water in shower - maybe an issue of individual room? Otherwise staff and service very good!

« As the hotel gets more popular, there is a need for differentiation between Accor LeClub members and non-members »

As a regular customer of Accorhotels, I've come to expect certain standards of differentiation between the different brands that Accor have in their portfolio. Grand Mercure has become a popular hotel for many guests due to the proximity to the SNIEC. That said, in recent times I've noted that as the hotel becomes more popular, the experience becomes more homogeneous, with no much differentiation between a regular hotel guest and Accor LeClub members. For example, given my stay with the hotel previously, I'm surprised to note that the front reception wasn't aware of the preferences and the fact that I've stayed in the hotel a couple of months ago. Likewise, when checking-in, I was directed to the regular check in counter despite moving to the priority check in lane, as there was no one attending to the priority check in lane. I believe the purpose of the priority check in is for frequent travelers to be able to get access to their rooms quicker? (I compare this with another Accorhotel experience - Novotel Atlantis Shanghai, where the guest relations manager attended to my every detail and was able to see my preferences in the Accor LeClub records). As a business traveler, how I grade a hotel would be based on the service and experience that I've encountered throughout the stay. On a side note, since my last feedback on the Executive Lounge, I've seen an improvement in terms of the selection offering, as well as the levels of service at the lounge. I appreciate that the management does take our feedback seriously and the lounge/meeting rooms experience has been very positive.

Because of my chronic diseases, I need to drink lots of water. I've been a very frequent guest at your hotel, however each time I asked for more mineral water, your staff rejected my request and tell me it's NOT FREE as only 2 bottles is allowed. I've stayed in other hotels, and they immediately recognised my name whenever I make reservations and placed lost of mineral water in my room after I'd checked in.

« disapointment as expecting higher standard from hotel called Grand Mercure »

when I booked , as hotel was called grand mercure , I was expecting a higher level of service . actualy , it is a 3 1/2 stars old hotel similar to many chinese local hotels and not what I expected from Accor . drab worn out common spaces, small reception , poor english speaking staff , old machines in gym etc... I think I wasted my hardly acquired points as I could have similar sevice for 400 RMB in a local owned hotel .
