While I enjoyed my stay, the room being quiet and clean, the service was disappointing for a new hotel. There was no waterin room as promised atreception, I had difficulty finding the hotel but when I called no answer. It took multiple calls to orderroom service and then I waited 1.5hours for it and received desert first then the main. The food was of a high quality. The breakfast was nice, however the shower was dfiificult (I gave up) to keep on the wall. Overall disappointing. I have tried tro show both the good and bad in the review.

I booked a short get away at Novotel South Wharf for my husband, daughter and myself for our wedding anniversary. We were upgraded to a suite and had a bottle of wine and an anniversary card waiting for us in the suite (Although we don't drink alcohol, we were touched by the gesture). The cot for the baby was also set up as requested earlier. I was very impressed by the hotel, cleanliness and the customer service of the staff. We had an amazing time! Thank you.

The room was practical and comfortable. A couple of complaints: 1. I stayed for 3 nights and my sheets were not changed once 2. Staff at the reception do not seem to acknowledge passing customers to/from the lifts. I found this very disappointing from a hospitality industry point of view. I stayed there a few times and it is a pretty much an "across the board" observation from me that I thought I'd share now.
