Efficient check in, no line up for lifts! Comfortable bed, good dining on site, breakfast was great We didn’t leave hotel once checked in, dined & breakfast onsite.

The staff were really friendly. The room was great with a gorgeous view and really comfortable bed. The breakfast brunch was great. The only thing I was disappointed with was no pool to swim in.

Alarm clock woke me at midnight, room service meal delivered late and cold

I was disappointed to be woken at midnight by the alarm clock next to the bed (which I hadn't set or even touched), and also because I ordered a room service meal and was told it would take 25 minutes, but it took twice that long and was delivered cold. On check out no one asked me how my stay had been and when I mentioned the alarm clock, there didn't seem to be much care nor concern that this had occurred.

I stayed at the Novotel as we were delivering our Exhibition at the MCEC and the Hotels proximity enabled us to walk back to the hotel when needing to change for our formal functions. The direct access to the MCEC also provided covered and warm transitions during what was an extremely cold period in Melbourne. The hotels facilities were of a very high standard and I would definitely stay again.

received an upgrade due to gold status, staff were friendly and efficient, even called to check my pillow request. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom amenities lacking (makeup cotton pads / earbuds) which was disappointing, also a sewing kit would have been handy. Appreciated the return visit gift - chocolate! Buffet Breakfast was a little disappointing. For the price, choices were limited. Fresh juice would be welcomed - not the sugar loaded preservative crap that was offered. I ordered off the menu and enjoyed the mushroom dish. Coffee was ok, some work needed on making a latte without an inch of foam on top! Received a complimentary drink, tried to use it at the bar before I left for an early dinner but the bar was closed. On return from my night out the bar was also closed just after 11pm

Check-in was seamless and room very good. Wednesday morning I requested an iron, which was missing from my room. I waited over an hour and had to call reception 4 times before the iron arrived in my room, making me late for a breakfast meeting. Staff in the restaurant at breakfast were not overly friendly, reducing vibrant feel of the hotel.

Room was a nice size and layout. I requested that the room be vacuumed and a time was organised. On arriving back to the room much later than the requested time the room hadn't been made up OR vacuumed. The lovely duty manager organised for it to be done straight away and later sent up a cheese platter as an apology for the mix-up.
