This was fantastic. I booked my elderly parents in for 1 night as they had just flown from Australia to the UK. Check-in was simple and easy. I took them out to dinner to a close restaurant then returned then to the hotek. They said they had a fantastic sleep and didn't hear much noise at all. I went to pick them up the following morning and we all had breakfast at the hotel, which was very yummy and worth it. Thankyou for the Fabolous service.

Room was average. Issue was with the bathroom. The shower was actually hanging off the wall. The water did not go down the plug hole quickly which lead to a build of water overspilling on the bathroom floor and spreading out into the carpeted area. The towels issued were far too small for anyone and not enough for 2 people. We asked for extra towels which we were given but the cleaner took them the next day. We asked for more towels for the second day but we never received any and had to share 2 towels. The air con unit appeared to leak down onto the small table used for putting your suitcase on. Luckily I did not need the clothes again that I had left there

Costly for the brief stay. Breakfast and room were very good and these were excellent but the pool and area is in need of some upgrading. All of the other hotels in your grouping possess a jacuzzi and even sauna with two we have visited having a steam room as well. For the price as when we visited before seven years ago it should have included a dinner. Location for Warner Bros Studios is excellent and I have recommended you to some relatives of ours for the same.

Location good. The staff I dealt with were friendly/helpful. The breakfast is good. HOWEVER a) Although there is a/c available in the bedrooms in areas such as the bar and breakfast room it doesn't seem to be available b) The Classic Double Room I was in is advertised on the accor website as being from 269sqft (or another webpage as 25m2) BUT its actually only about 175 sqft! [Even on booking.com it is advertised as 225 sq ft!). Brought this to the attention of reception but 1 week later no change yet on the website! c) The room itself was in some maintenance on the doors and windows. The carpet was stained. d) The wardrobe had just 3 clothes hangers e) TV reception on multiple channels was not good over the duration of my stay. f) signage to rooms could be clearer - particular for those on the top floor - got to 1 point and it's confusing if you had to go up or down stairs to get to your room!

We had a problem with the room (60) in that the glass shelf in the bathroom was held in by 4 pieces of cardboard. It fell to the floor causing glass shards and splinters to cover the bathroom. My partner was showering at the time. I reported this to reception and was told that we would be upgraded and moved into the Forrest Suite. The room wasn't ready so we had to wait for it to be cleaned. When we got to the room, the floor was still wet from being mopped and there was no air conditioning, one of the features that made me book with you in the first place due to the recent heatwave. Having to walk outside to get to the room was also an inconvenience that we weren't keen on. This meant that my partner didn't have enough time to get ready as we had an event booked for a specific time. It was her birthday and our itinerary was quite tight to begin with. We went out with her not feeling particularly great and when we returned to the hotel, we went to the bar to get a drink. I ordered her a cocktail from the menu and it took 25 minutes to arrive, even though when I ordered it, there was no one else waiting in the bar. We contemplated dinner at the hotel restaurant but chose to go elsewhere as we weren't sure of the service we would receive. When we returned to the room, we sat down to relax and turned on the TV. Unfortunately, this didn't seem to have a signal so we couldn't watch anything. I went to make coffee as there was a machine in the room, but there were no coffee pods to go with it, and as it was late, we decided to go to bed. There were people drinking noisily outside the bar area, which was quite close to our room, so getting off to sleep was quite difficult, not ideal when you have a 250-mile drive to get home in the morning. When we checked out, I raised some of the issues and the room rate was reduced to £50 from £95.95. If I hadn't already paid when I booked, I would have refused to pay anything at all. Our trip was marred by the experiences in your hotel. My partner cried when we went to bed as the room was stifling but we couldn't open any windows because of the noise from the bar area. We had a restless night and were tired when we began the journey home. All in all, I was very dissatisfied with our stay and although the reduction on the room was given, it can't make up for the truly awful experience that we had. What should have been a special evening for a birthday was just frustration and unnecessary upset.

Not up to 4 star standard at all only made better by pleasant staff. Arrived just before 10pm having travelled for 4.5 hours from the south coast, with train delays etc to be told that the restaurant was closed and there was no room service available!! Went to bar to order drinks and nuts, usual brand of gin (popular and on display) not available and no nuts. Expecting to sit quietly and enjoy a chat with my colleague but had to listen to the extremely loud, drunken and out of tune singing of other guests who clearly thought that the bar was exclusively for their use - really disappointed by this hotel and won't be staying again, nor recommending to anyone!

The room was comfortable and clean and breakfast was amazing. The only 2 small points are that the pillows were very hard so we didn’t sleep very well and the pool house could do with decorating and there were no cups for the water dispenser. Other than that we had a pleasant stay.

Problem when checking in, even though I had checked in on-line. This made no difference to the process as a colleague who had not used the online service did not have slower process than I did. We both took nearly 20 minutes to login. Problem checking out could not print the invoice & said they would send onto me. They did not I had to phone up the next day & request this. As a platinum member I am supposed to get a room upgrade if there was capacity, I did not & the hotel was far from full?

Our bathroom was dirty not just a little. There were cobwebs all down one corner, showered gel and pubic hairs in the shower tray, shower glass and sink taps covered in soap scum the toilet lid was loose. Quilt cover had blood spots and whole hotel needs a deep clean. The pool area is very neglected and dirty as were the public areas. I asked for the bathroom to be cleaned after we had checked in and although reception said it would be done it wasn't noreally was is done properly after the first night (cobwebs still there and shower gel still in tray ). The name on the room should be Mrs Kim M. the name on the reservation made by my friend who also stayed is what she calls my son. Money definitely needs to be spent on updating carpets and cleanliness throughout hotel

Despite telling staff when I booked, 3 months in advance, that we were Lactose Intolerant & asking them to ensure we had Lactose Free Milk & not any plant based substitute, & again a few days before arrival, they didn't have it on arrival. When we went into the bar just before the restaurant to order a cappuccino they offered us Soya (to which I am also intolerant) & I had to insist that they go & get Lactose Free milk as I had requested, which they eventually did, by which time the Wedding was starting! Anyway, when coffee was served during the wedding they did fetch us some of the LF milk. Later when we went back to the furstbar for a Cappuccino we were told they didn't have LF Milk. I explained that some had been bought, so off the hey went hunting for it& came back with BOB milk, which is not Lactose Free. I sought out the Lady who was coordinating the Best/Lawrence wedding to see if she knew where our milk was? She said she had locate it in the kitchen fridge & what did we want? So I told her a cappuccino with chocolate on top please. We waited half an hour, by which time my partner had had enough & went to his room to make a black tea! I mean whilee went to the reception desk & spoke to the receptionist (black girl with a turban style headwear) who immediately said leave it with her, what did I want? I have xplain c my partner had given up, but I would like a Cappuccino. She volunteered to take one to our room (31) but I said my partner was now past it! She brought me my Cappuccino within 10 minutes! She was the most helpful & efficient member of staff we came across that evening! In the morning I asked the breakfast staff 15 minutes before we went in for breakfast for the milk, & said we had been told it would be in the kitchen fridge. It was ready when we went in. The other member of staff that you as helpful was Gwen. I phoned on the Friday to see if it was possible to access our room early to get ready for the wedding? I explained that we had tried to book for the Friday as we were traveling down from North Yorkshire, but we were told you were full, therefore had ended up booking into Premier Inn. Gwen said there was a room that wasn't in use Friday night so we could have that, with no additional charge as we had originally tried to book for the Friday. When we got there the Receptionist wanted to charge us £30 extra. I explained what Gwen had said, but she said 'Its our Olicy to charge, so it's £30' I asked to speak with the Manager, who agreed to waive the charge. It then took the Receptionist over 30 minutes, & being asked twice before she gave us our room key! We had been told that as a guest of a wedding being held there we were getting 'a special rate' of £95! I've since looked at the website & the dearest rate I can see is £111 & the Saturday after we stayed £55! Comparing the Premier Inn that we'd stayed at the night before at £55, including a full breakfast & a larger smarter room I was very disappointed with Hunton Park. Looks lovely from the outside, disappointing inside!

Downgraded due to a system error from the superior suite to superior room and the room didn't live up to what I was expecting. The finish to the room looked as if it had been rushed and wasn't up to a good standard such as damp stains around the top of the room. Bathroom had a rain head shower which leaked out of the top of the shower head so was almost pointless, a repair had been made above the shower but water was still leaking from the sides of it. A lot of the staff also seemed as if they didn't really want to be there. The bed was rock solid and the blackout blind didn't create much of a barrier from the sunlight. The doors on the rooms need some sort of softening mechanism in order for them not to slam shut very loudly when guests go to bed in the early hours.

Hotel grounds were lovely, the inside of the hotel needed an update. Carpets dirty and stained paintwork chipped hotel rooms basic and restaurant no atmosphere only 3 other people in the restaurant for the evening meal. Key card to the room kept on locking every time we went outside the room and had to keep on going to reception to get this unlocked

Nice overnight stay and very convenient to visit Warner Bros studios. We were caught in the Superbreak debacle and unfortunately had to pay hotel again, which obviously wasn’t their fault. Gwyn at hotel was fantastic and rebooked us to a superior room. Really lovely and good customer skills so she deserves a special mention. Room only had a shower though(would have liked bath for daughter) and room clean.Biscuits and hot chocolate sachets in room would be nice if included next time though!! Swimming pool was small and needs a bit of maintenance.Food was ok but need more vegan options if possible. Overall good staff and nice hotel set in beautiful grounds. Very convenient location. We would stay again.
