Having stayed in a larger wheelchair accessible room on a prior occasion, despite no need for such a facility, we tried a standard room which was more compact. Although stylish and modern, the lack of privacy with only an opaque glass door on the toilet 'stall' was not to our liking. The designer should be made to spend a night with a companion! Apart from this small displeasure, everything else was most agreeable. The restaurant is very nice, especially seated in the comfortable dining booths. Breakfast was adequate if a little sparse on choices and dinner was more than acceptable. All the staff was friendly and courteous. Our only gripe would be that a marginally cheaper continental breakfast is no longer available. One price irrespective of how much you want to eat. Our first visit in April 2018 provided us with a continental selection at a truly bargain price of $12.50. Now the charge is $30.00. Understandable to be higher than April but a lower price for passing on a cooked meal would be more in keeping with standard practice. Very happy despite this.

Great hotel. Friendly efficient service. My regular hotel in Sydney and the two companies I have recommended it to have changed to it as well. The restaurant food, is very good quality (love the sirloin and the fresh barista coffee with the breakfast). Bar is great - love the fire. Good gym too. Love the pool and the view. Hard to beat having a morning swim where the sun comes up and the horses are training in the mist below you.

« It was fine I only stayed one night and all I needed was a bed »

Fine breakfast got smashed but there was a huge group that arrived the same time as me so it is not unexpected the staff recovered quickly enough. If they had booked though I would maybe have expected the kitchen to have been ahead of the rush but I am only being picky the wait was not that long I am sure the waiter did not tell the kitchen there was a huge group it happens

« Short business over night stay. Very comfortable and well designed hotel. »

My stay was an unplanned last second business trip, but I found the hotel and it’s staff all to be at a very high standard. The design of the hotel was really well done. The gym was a little small with limited weights but still fit for purpose. One member of staff stood out as very happy and helpful, and was going a great job considering she was trainee on the front desk.
