Modern, spacious room and bathroom, comfortable bed. Great breakfast with both Western and Asian food available. Service was prompt and friendly. Just a short walk to Elizabeth St Mall and the piers. Skybus stop nearby. Would not hesitate to return.

The staff were always ready to help with any queries. The restaurant was good (Had dinner a couple of times and breakfast daily). Rooms were good.

Everything was fine. If I have any feedback it would be that I prefer a firmer pillow. There were extra in the cupboard but didn’t test them. Also I found the the attached bar/restaurant a bit barn like. Thought it could be cosier with more intimate spaces. Can’t fault anything else. Will stay there again

I loved the location close to Salamanca, the ferries and the city shopping and the room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly both on the counter and in the restaurant. Check in time took about 15 minutes which was longer than usual and my welcome pack as an accor plus member was not ready. I wasn't offered the usual complimentary drinks cards and had to ask for them. The girl serving me didn't seem to know what I was talking about but gave me a goody bag with fortune cookies and bottled water which was nice. A man came in at that point and then wrote me out 3 drinks vouchers for my four night stay. Not the usual welcome I have had at other accor hotels. The restaurant food was very disappointing but it could have been what I ordered. The breakfast was fine considering it only cost me a dollar. Good Deal. Staff again, very friendly. Final comment is a bit odd but about the house keeping. The first day they took my bath mat and didn't replace it and took my towel. So the next day I had to use a towel as a bath mat which left me with one. The next day, they left the towel on the floor as a bath mat, hung up a bath mat and gave me more towels. Weird. Anyway overall, I would stay again. Hobart is fantastic and the cost of the hotel was reasonable. thanks.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, a shame about limited parking. Luckily we were there on a weekend, but had we been midweek, this would have been a huge issue.

My bookings are made by my organization, and I usually have to ask it to be linked to my silver membership when I arrive, as well as prompt reception staff regarding my entitlements as a silver member - on this occasion it had already been linked and I was provided with a number of perks that I haven't received before (including complimentary Asashi beer, bottled water, and a room with a view). I also enjoyed using the sauna for the first time. Most satisfied with my stay.

Staff were very helpful throughout. However, there are a few issues that detracted from the experience: -No room service disrupted my ability to work in the evenings - Staff kindly provided a beer gift pack, but finding a bottle opener proved problematic. -Restaurant is good, but Thai menu is constraining for longer stays -Hotel proximity to office next door detracted from room ambience. I know this is not a 5-star luxury hotel, so compromises are required, but you asked for honest feedback!

It’s my second time to visit Tassie & book ibis, this time a bit special cos the front desk staff Carman is so nice, helpful & friendly, she noticed tht I wanna enjoy afternoon tea in Tassie & go to Mona, she recommended a nice place for the afternoon tea & suggested me to take ferry to Mona She truly understands her customer’s need. & the room is really clean & nice.

Initially I was very pleased. Staff were lovely and welcoming upon arrival. The room was a bit smaller than I expected considering it was a king deluxe suite but very clean. But, I was extremely disappointed that we were billed twice for our room - this put my account into a negative and left me embarrassed when I was at a restaurant and went to pay for some drinks only to have the payment declined. Luckily - I had access to money in my savings account. If I did not have access to other money this situation could have left me in an embarrassing predicament for the rest of my stay in Hobart. There was absolutely no apology from the staff at all. And it then took three days for the money to be returned to my account.

Loved our weekend away bed was so comfortable, the pool was a nice treat. The staff where super friendly the lady that booked us in was so helpful and friendly made us feel very welcomed. The meal at the goodguys was delicious will definitely stay again and will recommend to my friends and family

My boyfriend and I stayed during Dark Mofo for a weekend trip to Hobart. We used this as our "home base." It was a clean room, albeit small, but there was enough space for the two of us. The hotel has a garage downstairs. We booked for two nights in the garage, but it was full one night so we had to do street parking. We were refunded for the night, but it was upsetting to see they overbooked the garage. The hotel is close to the Wharfs, and easy walking to the Salamanca market. We had a great stay!

Room was clean and quiet. The twin beds rolled around a bit, but were otherwise comfortable. We didn't care for our dinner at the restaurant. I was disappointed that this property didn't give Accor members rate discounts. I got a better rate booking through Jetstar.
