Close to Gare de l'Est, Kind staff, convenient location. Bus and Metro are close. Congress center is about 40 minutes by Metro, Check-in Check-out process was fast and convenient. normal Breakfast, Reasonable in overall

« Below average »

The hotel needs updating, I booked a double room and when I arrived they reluctantly offered me the street level disabled room as the only double left. I booked in advvance and confirmed my booking before arrival. They explained I could have a room with two singles in a quieter location but could move the next day. The room was very basic with single beds with foam matress. I borrowed an iron and it didn’t work.

« Clean but old »

The room was clean and comfy beds. However a refurbish won't be bad, also I'm not so fond of ground floor rooms. Breakfast could be improved, poor choice and employees taking croissants with bare hands without the use of tongs. Lady at check in was really really nice :) nice stay overall

« Bad for a Accor Hotel »

Room: normal size for a Ibis hotel - ok Bathroom: Smell so bad, (looks like that’s was the water or some thing) I don’t know why, for the 5 nights, simply can’t leave the dor open. Facilities: We were located on the back building, and the elavator that serves this building is extremely claustrophobic!!! only fit one person at a time. No way get back! The staff: Good, in the normal Acoor standards.

I was quite disappointed with the quality of this hotel, by the fact that the room was not ready at the time of our arrival at hotel. In fact, the room was busy and had to wait for almost two hours after thorough cleaning

I enjoyed my stay at Ibis Paris, although breakfast was a bit light for me, I ahd to full myself with bread, ham, Jam etc but I was expecting omelette, salted food etc just like in any others hotel.

« Get what you pay for but good breakfast! »

Room was small, not very clean and towels were stained. One ceiling light did not work. Would have liked a kettle in the room. However it was cheap and the breakfast was good. Staff were polite however we felt not very professional or helpful. The fire alarm went off and when we went to the reception we were told not to bother leaving and that they had tried to call us. They hadn't as we had been in the room and had not received a phone call. I called for a new towel and was told I could collect it from reception, I asked for it to be brought to the room as I'd just changed for a shower and my partner had gone to bed as he wasn't feeling well. They did not bring it so my partner kindly went to collect it where he was given no apology. Just a small thing but it could have made such a difference to our stay- basic customer service.

Easy access to hotel from metro station at Gare de l'Est. Very quiet and clean room on top (6th) floor. Friendly and efficient reception service with tasty chocolates available (because xmas/new year holiday).

« Nice staff, nice stay »

The staff at the hotel was wonderful. Each person at the front desk provided great service and went above and beyond to be helpful. The girl with dark hair working in the afternoon on Saturday, the 9th of December was one of the best hosts I’ve ever met on arrival - I was alone, sick with a cold, and a bit lost, and she made me feel welcomed not just to the hotel but to the city of Paris. Her friendliness and kindness was incredible and truly made this hotel one that I will recommend and return to. Two things would have made the stay better. First, the only trash can in the room was a tiny little bin in the bathroom. I had a cold while I was there and tissues were overflowing with no where to put them. Second, the hair dryer in the room smelled like smoke when I used it. I have an allergy to smoke and I was already sick, and the hair dryer made the situation much worse. I truly appreciate your hospitality and look forward to staying with you again.

« Ibis quality »

I've always stayed with Ibis whenever I could, and have come to expect a certain level of service and amenities. I've learned to depend on this expectation whenever I travel and stay with with Ibis. This hotel is no exception. A few things to note: - the location is exceptional; although it is in the 10th arrondisement, its proximity to Gare de L'Est make it an ideal jump off point to explore the city. The bus terminals (for intra-city buses) are also 2 minutes away from the hotel. - Lots of restaurants (bistrots and cafes) around the hotel. You won't go hungry in the middle of the night.

« A comfortable hotel close to Gare de l’Est »

From Gare du Nord it was a short walk to this hotel. Although not the most up-to-date Ibis, the room was very clean and the bed comfortable. An electric shutter meant the room was quiet despite being in a very busy part of Paris.

I ended up "over the road" and not only that but right out the back. I could hardly fit in the lift - a safety risk if ever I saw one! The receptionist is always between the 2 hotels so there was a long wait when I wanted a drink. Even then it was very expensive bottles!

« Good value for money »

We stayed at the ibis Paris Gare De L Est 10 Eme in a family room with our 2 children for a 2 day visit to Paris. Driving to the hotel was easy and straightforward. Reception was friendly and they showed us the way to a parking nearby. The room was a bit outdated and could use some refurbishment, but was clean and spacious. No complaining here. On the other hand;, the room was noisy. We woke up early from the sound of the elevator and the slamming of the front door. A damper could do miracles here. Breakfast buffet was complete, fresh and they kept refilling the plates. The location is super. A 2 minutes walk to the Gare De L'Est where you can take the metro into all directions of Paris. So the hotel is really value for money, and with some improvements to the room and noise it would score a 9.
