Not keen on the forest decor but furniture and comfy bed were very nice. We have stayed in so many that I find it hard to recall each one.

The room simple but very clean and comfortable, however the breakfast was pretty disorganized and with a lack of dishes and cutlery that were rarely brought if they were missing.

The staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was clean and the rooms were well appointed with comfortable beds. The en-suite was well designed with an excellent shower and plenty of hot water. I like the eco approach which ranged from heating control and lighting, to containers for breakfast goods. The hotel is in an excellent position for arrival in Le Mans (near the station and trams) and exploring the city.

The rooms are very nice (as one would expect from a hotel that is only a few weeks old): soundproof; walk-in shower; comfortable beds; a fine choice at breakfast. The views are of the train station (convenient) or of backyards (a bit more picturesque). But for those travelers who only speak English, be prepared to be able to watch only the BBC. For some strange reason, the remote controls have been blocked so that customers are unable to change the language on programs that are proposed in English. Very strange for a hotel that seeks to bring in an international clientele, that proposes a large range of CanalPlus channels (with movies and series that should be in English).

Excellent stay. We had booked another hotel but rebooked last minute due to awful reviews and so glad we chose the Ibis. Easy to find, directly opposite station. Staff were very welcoming and accommodating. I would recommend booking parking in advance as we used the Palais de congres parking which was reasonable overnight, station very pricey! We should have eaten in hotel as local restaurants were ok but not great.

When we arrived we were sent to the wrong room and then a room that hadn’t been cleaned after the previous guests had left. We were eventually upgraded to 2 interconnected rooms at no charge. We were offered a complimentary drink while we waited for a room to be ready. Sadly, this too was below par. We had 2 lemonades that were flat! Staff were very helpful but after a long day travelling we really could have gone without the hassle. Car parking poor near the hotel.

It is a pleasant hotel, although we were disappointed that the toilet had not been cleaned. The staff did take care of it very quickly once alerted. Other than that, the only complaint is that there were no coffee/tea making facilities, and no ice bucket. Also, I seem to have forgotten my bathrobe in the room. Is there any way to get it back?
