Good but a roll out trundle bed or food out couch bed would be good as four guests per apartment is restrictive. Extra lounge chairs would be good too.

The Hotel rooms are bright, spacious, welcoming - beautiful & unexpected for Moorabbin. Each one of your staff ... simply excellent. The care, the follow up in every detail. I stayed a few nites, checked out to go to another hotel, I'm back at Sebel Moorabbin because of the lovely hotel rooms and especially how professionally I am treated by each staff. 100 out of 100!!

- Very friendly and helpful staff - Clean and tidy room with comfortable bed and great shower - Fast and reliable internet - Was not indicated on website that you had to pre-book parking so I had to park down the street when I arrived quite late until I could speak to someone in person the following day - Was not made aware that no one would be onsite to check in with which was not a smooth process - Lack of power outlets in the room, could only charge phones in the living room and not have by the bedside

« Loved the service from Nathan at the front desk. »

Excellent service, pre, during and post the stay. The only improvement - which is outside the control of anyone - was that there was a drip on the outside balcony during the night which periodically woke us up. Apart from that we thoroughly loved the experience, the facilities, the room. Thank you.

The services are incredibly great. All the staff are so nice, the rooms are very organized. Also there are restaurants, supermarket also train and bus station nearby which made our life in the hotel much easier.

This was my first stay at the Sebel in Moorabbin. I travel to Melbourne at least 3 times a Year and have always stayed at another hotel. No More, this will always be my choice of Accomodation, from now on.

Slowly sampling all of the Sebels... and just as I expected, branding means nothing which is particularly perplexing given I’m an owner’s rep for a Sebel property. I suspect this is a franchised property.. great news is that the front desk didn’t run 24/7, so I’ll be sure to push shorter Reception hours at our Sebel property .. clearly it can be done. The floors were filthy! I have photos if anyone is interested in my sending them on... I stripped the bed; mattress protector had a blood stain on it (which wasn’t on the sheet, so a short cut taken not to swap this out) no pillow protectors and pillows were yellow when slips removed. (Again, I have photos) The bed was very comfortable, but needed a good vacuum between the Bedhead and head of the mattress. The doors do not self-lock which is what you’d expect when you flick the switch before you shut the door behind you. You have to use the key to lock the door from the outside which they fail to tell you at check in so the first night our door was open to anyone and everyone that had access to the floor.. Car park; someone was parked in our allotted bay at check in, called Reception, asked them to give us another bay.. they must have known who was parked there because as we headed to the lift the perpetrator moved his car.. Bland property. Great location.

Good and fast check in process, not so good about having to pay for parking. The room was spacious, however the previous persons wine glass and chewing gum was not cleaned up. The complementary toiletries were not sealed, again the first revile person may have used it.

« Alright but not the best experience »

I arrived to find the doors locked, and through the help of others after managing to get through the two sets of doors I found the sign on the reception desk saying it was closed and to call a number to check in. That sign would have been much better placed on the external set of doors. After waiting on hold for quite a while (over 5 minutes) I finally got through to someone who gave me access to my room, but hung up on me before I could ask about parking. After getting to my room, I called again and this time was berated for not having pre-arranged parking - something which I was not aware of, having booked this through our company's booking agent. The next morning, the staff on site were quite friendly and helpful, and sorted out my parking for the remainder of my stay. Overall, the apartment was ok. There were a significant number of stains on the carpet in the lounge and bedroom, and the shower leaked, which I informed reception about, but otherwise everything was acceptable. Somewhat lacking for power, it would have been nice to have a power outlet next to the bed for my phone charger, and maybe another outlet or two in the kitchen/lounge.
