I like every thing in the hotel except the staff that we made the check in with him,,he was very seriaclly and not that much welcomed as we ask for conected room because of my debiting mom,,but he was thinking about extra payment in deferent floor not considering the situation ,,anyway it was good service except him !

First of all I will consider my last experinced as last stay in fairmont hotels specially in Istanbul after what I saw from their treating to guest and we have already packed our stuff and checked out from the hotel, we booked 3 rooms for 2 weeks but from the first week 2 rooms checked out and we stayed in 1 room only also they upgraded our room in the last 4 days which is very late response. I ordered in-room dining at 08:00 PM and received the food at 11:00 PM and that happend 3 times, I had fever 40 degrees and they brought me a nurse with invalid termometer and it was 37 with her’s and i went to the hospital with 40 degrees also they said it was Friday and they dont have a doctor!!! Which is impossible and they sent me a nurse!!! Also my sister booked a smoker room and they told her it’s booked for someones else and she has to pay 250 euro to smoke. That’s very cheap way to deal with a guest while she already booke a smoker room.

We understand your sister's smoking room request, however, even though we have our note on her reservation, there is no smoking room assigned for this inquiry. As we informed you earlier, we took our notes to follow up an upgrade possibility day by day, where these rooms have a balcony to accommodate the smoking guests' needs. It was unfortunate that due to the high occupancy, we could be able to extend the upgrade at a later stage of your stay. Regarding your room service order's delay, we apologize for the service. Please rest assured that the necessary actions have been taken to improve our operation. As a valued guest, your feedback for us is most vital. Ms. K., We hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the near future. Very friendly environment overall. Although the staff were overall very good we did have an issue with the abrupt manner one staff member dealt with at breakfast. The locality was an issue for tourist bases guests as getting to and from sites was difficult and time consuming . However we would recommend the hotel for taking the time to try and resolve these issues. Would also be beneficial to have a hotel based shop for convieniance. Also the entertainment system had very limited english speaking menu. Also the lighting system needed some explanation for those not familiar with such systems . My wife found it very difficult to control these . The amenities within the room as supplied were excellent .

Almost two months prior to arriving, before booking, spoke to the hotel reception over the phone, provided my details and ensured that everything was as I wanted i.e. two double beds etc. This telephone note was also saved on booking.com page, which the hotel also had on record. However, upon arrival I was given room with only one bed and was told that there was nothing they could do. This was pretty shocking as I was there with kids. It was late and we were all tired. However, they managed to sort out in an hour by putting us down from floor 17 to 11. The view in that room was not as good as it would be at 17th floor but it at least had two beds for us to sleep. Following this I made a few requests to put us in higher floor rooms, however despite reassurance, it never happened. During our stay of 8 nights, one day our room was not made for no good reason. Other than the foregoing, it was a fantastic hotel with very helpful, frenziedly, and polite staff and I would recommend it.

« Excellent facility, service could be better »

Overall a great facility. Lovely rooms and housekeeping service. Exceeded expectations in the following:- Checkout: Speedy and very helpful in all areas of arranging transport and support. Had requested for a late checkout and was very well accomodated. Logistics: Front staff arranged shopping trip and also was very helpful. Room: Excellent set up and facilities. Areas of improvement as follows:- First impression: When I first arrived at the hotel, my luggage was not tagged and nor was I assisted in taking the luggage off the car. Minor detail but could be improved. Check in: I had to wait for almost five minutes as both the hosts were on phone. Gold Lounge: Service staff lacked smile and seemed too commercial.

I have to waet and didn't give the key to enter the room although I payed my rooms through the agency. And treated me very badly i ask her to use different mashen I call the bank in doha they told nathing rong with your cards. I offered here to pay cash she didn't except
