Very unmatured staff. Pretend to understand but they don't understand. Ridiculous check in service which it doesn't happen neither in the motel. I've entered the room which has already other people in the inside. They saw me such like wrong house keeping. Even after this mistake, receptionist just continously trying to explain what happened instead of apologizing. It was first time in my life this kind of experience in 4-5 stars hotel. Never codify in the breakfast list because of receptionist always put my first name or last name errored. Every staff has no connect to share about the customer's information.. Corridor has always fulled of bad smoke.. General facilities are new and modern, but software of this inside hotel were terrible. Not name valued of Fairmont hotel globel.

« my first impression of this hotel was very bad, but they could handle it quite well »

My first impression of this hotel was very bad, but they could handle it quite well. I'm verry stresfull about airport transfer from aiport to the hotel, i already info my flight & my arival time at airport by confirmation email and they take noted about that. But actualy we waited more than 1 hour and nobody picked up, then we sent an email about this but there was no response at all until we arrived at the hotel(more than 2 hr). When we arrived at the hotel they said they did not know anything about our requests. I am waiting for confirmation from the hotel about this, and I just got a confirmation after I asked a few times and resend the email. And the response to the resolution of this problem was only obtained the next day at noon. Fortunately they provided us free late checkout & free airport transfer for our return. We are very grateful & appreciate what we have received for your response. But we hope this doesn't happen to us or other guests later, especially for 5-star hotels like fairmont. Actually we were very happy to stay at the hotel with very comfortable rooms and beautiful views accompanied by fairly complete facilities in the fairmont hotel style. Stayed at the hotel during a conference and a business visit. Really enjoyed the design of the hotel and the facilities, the rooms are bright and spacious and it is great to have a relaxing bath in a stylish bathroom suite at the end of a long day! The food was great too (including breakfast) and having an online in-room-dining ordering system worked perfectly for me, so convenient. Will be coming back for sure.

We had an absolutely wonderful week in Istanbul which was very much the result of the amazing Fairmont Quasar hotel, staff, service and facilities. The gold lounge is a true oasis from the hustle and bustle of hectic city life, equally the willow tree spa and warmest of welcomes from staff were always appreciated after a long day of sight seeing. In particular we would like to thank Mr Berke (Duty Manager), Sami and Sabithe (concierge), last but not least Hazel and Samra (gold lounge) all of whom went beyond expectations to ensure our visit was truly exceptional.

Hotel is beautifully built, loved the view from my room. However, wish if room service was faster and kinder receptionists. But concierge service was fantastic, Subuhi is very helpful in guiding where to go in and around the city meeting my expectations. Also, breakfast service by staff Zafer was great.

It was an extremely excellent hotel. The only issue was that I inserted twice my Accor number and it was not recorded at the front desk, neither when I checked in and/or at check out. I was assured the number was recorded, but ultimately when I was told my final invoice would be emailed to me, it still was not recorded, nor did I receive any additional points or gift, which I traditionally do when checking in in other Accor related hotels.

service in all areas was excellent. still 2 points you should consider - these will elevate you to best hotel in Turkey :-). 1.) noise level on city facing rooms is really bad, you hear traffic from the street even on 32nd floor 2.) having in-room dining menu in Euros is really not fair. Considering that all your restaurants and bars are having Turkish Lira prices. I don't understand that rational at all.
