« Nice city hotel with some drawbacks »

The hotel is very centrally located in Amman, on a busy street (therefore book rooms on the back as possible). The hotel itself would do a good job of renovating, it looks "worn out" in many ways (70's style). However, the friendliness of the staff at the front desk, as well as at breakfast and in the pool area should be emphasized.

Great hotel with friendly staff, always willing to help. Chef Mohammad at Le Brasserie took care of my special food requirement and introduced us to local food. He went out of the way to prepare it for us. Only comment we have is the person in the club lounge needs to speak English fluently, as majority of the people that goes to the club lounge requires assistance are foreigners. They also need to be educated on the different restaurants in the hotel, as I asked for reservation to made for us at Benihana, and he has no idea what is Benihana. Overall, the stay was good, we enjoyed ourselves, the room was cleaned well.

« Nice hotel but the restaurant needs improvement »

Nice hotel with helpful front desk and concierge but the restaurant needs improvement. Our party of four waited an hour at lunch for two soup and two wraps - not a difficult order. When the food arrived it was cold. Staff seemed oblivious to what was happening even though we brought the problem to their attention. Not good. Heard from others that the service was sub-standard as well.

The suite to which I was upgraded was below the standard of even a four star hotel. The bathroom in my suite number 732 needs extensive refurbishment. The room furniture and carpets are very old. Breakfast was not too bad, but could be improved. On check in I was not asked if I am an Accor member.

Staff are nice and welcoming. But overall hotel is poor, gym changing rooms very old with broken safes, Executive Lounge very poor (not worth paying any extra for)., breakfast choice and quality is very basic. Would not recommend as there are many other better hotels.

The hotel accommodated us in acute situation when Marriott suddenly denied a reservation. The stay was good in general. Staff is polite and helpful. Rooms are quite spacious and good but not as modern as some of the newer hotels.

Staff and service was amazing. Congratulations to them all for their care and attention to detail. However the food was not of a good standard. I ordered a Caesar salad and I got a lettuce stew. It was repulsive. The breakfast dining room looks like a school canteen. Please please make over the rooms. They are set in the 1980's andctgatvincludes the tv channels. To compete with other large hotels you need all the mod cons, Bluetooth, charging points and cable TV. Spend your budget on the rooms not the lobby. If anything replace the lobby carpet but the overall impression is impressive as you enter. Paint the exterior of the hotel around by the swimming pool.
