« On the Sea Front in Pesaro »

We have stayed at the Cruiser many times. It is on the sea front and close to the centre of town. In recent years it has changed hands and had a significant amount spent on it. But be prepared for faulty electrics, external doors blowing open at night in strong winds and no English language TV channels.(or indeed any foreign language channels). The breakfast is adequate, no more.Nevertheless the staff are friendly and helpful.Not as good as the Mercure Bologna Centro, which we also use on a fairly regular basis.

« great location, why cannot the hotel not have good service for breakfast »

Great location, as you enter the reception staff are both helpful and professional. stayed many times at this hotel and they continue to fail to give a service at breakfast.long waits for coffee, tables not cleared, items running out if you turn up after 9.30. just not good enough.

The room was spacious and clean with two balconies, breakfast room with fantastic view of the seaside, polite and helpful staff at the reception and breakfast room. In particular, the young lady in the breakfast room was corteous and supportive with my disabled relative: special thanks to her.

Nice hotel with good service. No issues to report and v friendly staff. Location excellent, opposite the beac h and roof top breakfast view v good.Only complaint was breakfast was cleared away very quickly so at 0940 a lot of basics were not available such as milk, plates and croissants.All were immediately supplied on request but if breakfast is advertised as available until 1000 then so it should be.

The hotel is very run down, the rooms are quite dirty, linen was far from clean and the service was quite mediocre. As a Platinum member I received a poor welcome. They claim they have indoor parking but they did not allow me to park inside.

location excellent, room was clean and view wonderful, services were fine but ady at the reception did not know much about the hotel and accor. So we asked all questions to the man at the reception that was very helpful. No cocktail was offered (I'm not sure if at mercure the cocktail isn't offered to silver members, in other accor hotels it is offered), but I could have a late checkout.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel has a limited number of car park spaces under the hotel so book before you arrive. Room was very spacious and had a wonderful sea view and quiet despite being close to the lift. Bathroom had mould around the bottom of the bath shower screen and hair from previous quests. Overall the room looked tired and needs refurbishing. We had breakfast twice on the 6th floor dining room which has a wonderful seaview. However, breakfast was disappointing each morning as there was insufficient quantities of food to cater for the number of guests. The dining room also lacked adult coordination.

« Good Location, but a few issues internally »

We overall enjoyed our one night stay with the hotel. However, upon arrival there was no private parking available and we were offered a parking permit and told to find onstreet parking. With three suitcases, a pram, two hand luggage bags and two small children to unload it would have been much easier had there been an unloading bay or parking previously arranged for me. Parking is obviously a huge issue at this hotel and not easily fixable I expect, but it needs to addressed. There was nobody available to help us with our bags. Check-in was very smooth and correct. There was no baby cot in the room when we arrived but this was swiftly remedied by the reception and housekeeping team, although I was asked if I could wait for it until the next day which is a strange request to male to someone who is only staying for one evening. The room was very good except for the air conditioning appliance which leaked water onto the floor for the entire 24 hours that we were in the room. My 4 year old daughter slipped and fell on it once and we eventually had to put a towel down. Breakfast was ok but not very well stocked and often had to wait quite a while for empty serving dishes to be replenished. Overall this is a good hotel with an excellent location and excellent views for breakfast, but it lets itself down with parking, maintenance and housekeeping issues

« Still a lot of improvements to be done to become a real quality mercure »

Gabriella ftom reception was/is great, and the colleague with beard too. Rest can have some training in politeness and friendliness. F ex explain guests that beach towels are available at caution. New fresh ones €2,5 each. Ridiculous, but inform your guests about this. Breakfast terrible, rooms not clean and very small for family rooms. No refill of shampoo, coffee tea in room...Poolarea needs renovation and new sunbeds.

Check in was very fast. No second key available. Aircon in the room was just a fan blowing. The control panel did not work as the switches had been removed. Reported it to reception who said all the Aircon is set the same by the manager. NO CONTROL IN THE ROOM. (saving money ). When reported the that it was TOO HOT in the room they removed the bed cover. The staff in reception have the doors open and the bar also have their doors open. So the Aircon will never work anyway. The fire door between the bar and reception has large rock keeping in open. Very clever. All the staff were very polite and helpful. I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past and never had problems with the Aircon.

Exceeding expectations, a stay here is a guarantee of comfort and relaxation. Located in front of the sea, it offers direct access to the well-equipped and well-maintained beach, even if in May the tourist season had not yet begun. Rooms spacious and comfortable, very clean, I will return on vacation.

All staff very helpful. NO controllable air-con in rooms. So it was very very hot in the rooms. Even the reception staff had the doors open most of the time. Fire door between the bar and reception had rock to keep it from closing.

We only stayed for one night, but we'll surely return. Great rooms with balconies sea view. Also great position, near the sea and the city old centre. I also paid only 13 EUR because here you can use your reward points!

The Mercure Pesaro is a fairly recent addition to the Accor group. The staff are very helpful and spoke English and the rooms very clean. However, although the rooms etc have been refurbished to a high standard, there is still a little way to go. For example, there are no foreign language TV stations available. Be prepared for a limited number of Italian channels alone. If the Mercure in Bologna can have 94 multi language channels, there is no reason why the same should not be true of the Pesaro Mercure. And although the choice of cold food for breakfast was what you would expect, the same was not true of the hot offering. It is clear that the Italians don't do breakfast. All that said, we would certainly stay at the Pesaro Mercure again. And Pesaro itself is well worth a visit.
