Two nights, room clean, shower drain backed up some in our room. Ate breakfast both mornings. Staff at front desk and restaurant were friendly.

The hotel was further from the beach and the main street than we realised but had an agreement with one of the lidos (Lido Pinocchio) where you could hire deckchairs/umbrella for Eur 20.00/day and use of their facilities which were excellent. A sign said that we could have a free welcome drink, but when we asked for it we were told it was only for Gold members, which is mean (however, very kindly, the gentleman receptionist gave us a voucher for a free drink as we complained). We had stayed a the Mercure in Rimini a few days before and there we had free aperitivo every evening, including nibbles so the standard is definitely not the same. Also we were not allowed to put any drinks on the room and had to pay cash for these which seems odd and inconvenient. There was a very limited choice of food in the bar. The room was very clean and had a balcony.

The room was fine and clean but the balcony not so as hung our beach towels over the crome bar and got dark grease marks all over one of them. Having enjoyed staying at your hotels in the past we used our trip in another part of Tuscany to check out the potential of returning to it with a number of friends next summer but won't be doing so. Our flight was not until early evening the next day so I asked the reception if the hotel had a guest room that we could shower and change in and the guy said no just shower at the poolside! In this day and age it is the 1st time I have stayed at a hotel where they don't have this option even in busy summer preriods. They even wnated to charge us 2.50 euros each to for towels.

Regarding the changing room it is always available the bathroom of the hall hat is big enough for changing clothes but unfortunely if all the rooms are occupied we havo no shower available except the one located in the pool. Regarding the towels for the pool we have to substain rental and loundry costs in order to provide you this kind of service and the price is shown, published and communicated to all our guests. Rooms were cleaned - staff at the breakfast did a wonderful job despite the fact that there was a huge group all fighting for the same platters. Location was perfect for our trip to the beach

I was disappointed that I had to pay for my dinner at the hotel restaurant separately and could not add it to my room bill. I also was told by the hotel staff that I could not earn fedelity points as the restaurant was operated by a different company. Very bizarre as the restaurant is located inside the hotel lobby. I should have been informed that the restaurant was a different entity and I would not earn points. I will not eat at that overpriced restaurant ever again!

No-frills, functional hotel that does what it is supposed to do

Comfortable, functional room, efficient staff, on-site restaurant, reasonable value-for-money: it is all you objectively need to stop for the night and get some rest on a long journey between A and B. But the place has no 'spark' and, also, there were a number of minor issues that did not help put this hotel experience in the most positive light. For instance: the broken shower fittings, a window that would not open the way it should, the ultra-narrow parking and, most importantly, an 'I just work here, do not ask me to smile' attitude of some of the staff... These are probably easy to address and correct!

Hotel modern, near the sea front. Suite excellent. Personnel very professional.; special mention for Danièle being a very efficient barman as well as being a very disciplined breakfast 'manager'. The only negative point being the style of the breakfast area; more like an IBIS/IBIS STYLES, plus the simple quality of the breakfast food, but, what can you expect for €8.00!

We had good service, a quite room and location within a short walk to the beach was very convenient. The hotel was not to the standard of some other Mercure hotels I have stayed at, but it was clean and had everything we needed.

Room with balcony was lovely, with view to the sea a bonus. It was very clean and also cleaned thoroughly daily. Staff were very helpful However the breakfast was the worst I have ever had at any hotel...artificial juice, instant americano...poor choice of bread..no rolls...when melon ran out one morning it wasn’t replaced....quite frankly I am quite grateful it was part of the deal because the stand alone price was daylight robbery...McDonalds provides better!

Nice room, nice staff. A little out of the way for me traveling without a car. Staff weren't very knowledgeable about buses, schedules etc. Most hotels with such a long walk to tge station would know the bus schedule and likely have it printed out for guests. Staff were not knowledgeable or helpful about tge area. You should have a hotel area map where the staff can point things out. I had to rely on Google for information i wanted that the hotel staff should have known. Did not receive a drink voucher or any acknowledgement of being a member. Matteo at front desk was very nice and man with the beard. Also in the restaurant the man with ginger hair was very nice and helpful and offered great service. Housekeeping was very friendly. On check out the front desk staff Nadia was not very friendly. She did not give any sort of greeting to me even after i said good morning. She just looked at me. Then i said check out please and she just said "yes"

Good value for money quality, but poor quality breakfasts, overcooked eggs, poor quality scrambled eggs and coffee, poorly roasted bacon-and mercury in Vilnius was devoid of all these shortcomings
