« Never again - staff need proper training on how to run an hotel. »

Very bad experience. Business trip with 6 people, we always had to fight for the iron as apparently there are not enough in the hotel. The room was freezing, I asked someone to come and fix the AC but after 1 hour no one came. I called again and waited another hour. Finally someone arrives but has no idea of how to fix it. I was expecting an important delivery which was supposed to arrived by Saturday but was delayed. So on Monday morning I prayed the reception to text me as soon as it arrived because I needed for my business workshop that day. At 5pm I called, the delivery had arrived but no one had bother calling me. A day at work almost lost for your lack of professionalism. The morning after I finally bring my delivery at work and realize that there is only half of the material that I needed. I call my office in London to check and they found a delivery note that two parcels were delivered in Paris. I then call back the hotel reception telling them that they had forgotten to give me the second box, and at lady can not find anything else to say that "Ah, ok!". No apologies, no "sorry", no sign of embarrassing for coming to short to my expectation and for messing up my business trip. "Ah ok!" is NOT an answer to give a client when you have just made a mistake. In the meantime, the situation on the iron because ridiculous. A colleague of mine leaves the "do not disturb" sign on the door thinking that this will prevent the cleaners to come and take the iron in the room. No chance. He comes back in the evening finding out that despite the sign, the maid actually entered his room and took the iron. Breakfast. Good quality but it is always exactly the same thing every day. Add some variety please. Gym. Non-existent. Bathroom. Could do with better quality toiletry products in the bathroom. Shampoo/ bath foam average. No bathrobe no slippers in the room. Minibar. Empty apart from a bottle of water. Finally, checking out experience: slow and confusing. No one in the "reception" when we need to check out, and then it took a good 15 minutes.

Hotel is beautiful and new, but team does not seem to be properly trained to attend the clients. No iron board in the room. Breakfast does not have many options, although the food was really good and fresh.

« Very disappointing experience at this hotel »

There were so many issues with the room and the overall service of the hotel. Firstly the carpet in the room was soaking wet everyday, one day there was actual puddles of water, this did not get fixed despite complaining to the staff. The bathing products were not topped up as they usually are by housekeeping, I had to leave my room to ask for products, the draining plug on the sink was broken so the water remained in the sink, an absolute disgusting sight. I was unable to charge my phone because there was a horrible high pitched buzz upon charging which really gets right into your nerves. The hotel were unable to issue me with an iron because they had ran out. This is the first time I have stayed at a midscale hotel without an iron in the room. They were unable to call me a taxi, again - first time I have stayed in a hotel where taxi service is unavailable.

« No ironing equipment disqualifies the place as the business trip hotel »

I have been told that the hotel doesn't have an iron and I was left with wrinkled shirt going into a business meeting. Being on a business trip an iron is one of essential equipment. I would not consider staying in this hotel knowing this. It's simply one of basics, like running water. Therefore I'm disappointed with the hotel and would not stay there again.
