pros: very friendly staff, pleasant check-in, loved the design of the hotel cons: slow wifi (too slow especially for a new hotel), opening hours of gym and pool (10am-6pm) defies belief (these opening hours give almost no opportunity for guests to actually use the facilities - especially overnight guests who check in late afternoon and check-out after breakfast), three whole floors of smoking rooms which in 2018 seems quite backwards (most hotels around the world are 100% non-smoking), nice coffee was served at breakfast but there was no hot milk which meant the coffee was cold. We were most disappointed with the Le Club welcome drink for Platinum members. We asked for a beer and were told that no alcohol is offered as the welcome drink. This is pretty disappointing and quite inconsistent with other Accor hotels we have stayed. It's particularly disappointing when you consider the 'Welcome Drink' is one of the few guaranteed benefits of the Le Club program and when you consider the huge financial commitment to reach Le Club Platinum it is pretty disappointing that this hotel couldn't even offer a beer. It makes a mockery of the Le Club loyalty program. The other frustrating issue was to do with printing a boarding pass. I asked reception in the evening if they could print a boarding pass for a flight the following morning. I was told she didn't have access to emails and couldn't print the boarding pass and that I would need to try the following morning when the person who had access start work. When I asked what times she said probably 7-8AM. As we left the hotel at 6:30AM we weren't able to print the boarding pass. Please empower your staff so they can actually respond to these basic service requests. It's unacceptable that in 2018 your staff don't have basic system access to be able to print a document.

My first time staying in Ibis pattimura, at first sight im falling in love with this hotel’s concept.. so cute and make us not feel bored, someday i wanna make my home’s design as same as. Indoor swimming pool, good meeting room *i think next time we’ll make a meeting in ibis, for room, good and complete everything availabe with only IDR 508k, clean, comfortable.. restaurant part is so comfortable, so many green colour and plants, feeling like home..for hotel’s staff, they are very friendly to customer, and always give help.. as security staff also. but i suggest please for breakfast menu gives more variant.. more innovative cz i get so minimal food and menu, different from others.. but overall i highly reccomended this hotel for people who want to stay with minumimum budget, as soon as possible we’ll coming again! Thank you Ibis Hotel Medan, appreciate you!

+ This hotels is new in Medan. The room is spacious and worth the price. Its location is nearby the shopping and dining area of Medan. (less than $2 using Grab/taxi). - No welcome drink though i'm a Le Club Silver member. Breakfast option is limited and the food is a little bit on the "local" taste

All is nice but I got a room with connecting door and the phone one the room next door rang at 3.40 am, lots of times, then I’m awake and cannot get back to sleep. That is really annoying.

The staffs were nice, this is the only thing that is good about iBis in Medan. The expectation of the hotel is really far from my last experience in iBis in Batam. 1) Hotel overall is too small for comfort. - the carpark is really tsmall making it so difficult for big vehicles like Afanza to be maneuver in the carpark lots. It is dangerous and narrow. Medan has a lot of land, but the room is only half the size of iBis Batam, it is truly disappointing. 2) Lack of amenities - breakfast was really crappy as well. There is no egg station and the choices was just over minimal. I would rather the kitchen just do a ala-cart breakfast selection. - no hair dryer in the room, this is crazy. 3) ONLY GOOD THING - that I rated 6 was because your staff allowed a late check out time for me at 2pm, as I was not feeling well that day. Just keep in mind that I am comparing with iBis Batam, which is also part of Indonesia, the comfort and style should not be such a big difference.

Everyone was really helpful ever since my arrival till i leave. Big applause for the security team who were always smiling and welcoming. Especially that guy with short hair in charge on 25-26 may '18. I didnt get his name. Always assisting with my luggage, even my package delivery. Reception staff were fast, efficient and friendly at the same time. Always greeting by name. Food from room service was amazing. It's a brand new hotel. It's fresh, simple, comfortable, yet affordable. I wish to stay in Ibis styles Pattimura again very soon!

The facility is new and comfortable, however services needs to be maintained. On my second stay, I requested 3 times for borrowing a hairdryer, 2 times of room card error. I still prefer Ibis styles, however please don't let the good service getting bad. Thanks

Bed was really comfy, and the lights were good although I bumped my head to that hanging one a lot. I think it should be place higher. Breakfast was served with a lot of varieties. Moreover, I loved sauteed potatoes and the coffee. No problem within check-in and check-out.
