first time at this hotel, breakfast was good. poolside relaxing, music normally loud, but turned down on request. Did request monthly rate, but did not get a response, did not follow up as had a previous longer term place booked.

Arrived in Ibis Style Pattimura Medan with so tired. Don’t have to wait too long then I got spacious room. Everything well maintained and clean, air con work well and directly I clean up my self with nice hot showers. Close with supermarket which you can find anything start from snacks, beers and local souvenirs. Good value hotel with helpful staff. Definitely will come back.

« Awesome small hotel but lack into details »

Room was awesome as we've got a big room that cosy enough. Breakfast was satisfying. Swimming pool is too cold like ice... big pool and kids loved it. Kids zone is too basic, anyway, it's a good effort to have it despite just a 3-star hotel. Check-in was ok but they should be updated with the guest membership details as i'm holding silver accorplus during stay instead of classic during booking. Plus, check-in counter didn't aware about the booking package, etc. welcome drinks & food voucher worth of IDR 50,000. i was given the voucher only when about the check-out. A bit frustrating because when i asked for late check-out (silver should enjoy it), they didn't check my membership properly and i have to justify and show mobile app to proved i'm a silver twice (counter & whatsapp).

1. The employee is not that good at serving... kinda not that experience... start from the one who open the door till the receptionist... 2. The parking lot is so small... i cannot park my car when i arrive and need to park next door for checkin... 3. The pool area cafe no worker serve the drinks even already given the free welcome drink voucher to get the drink... they dont even serve it... 4. The cleaning service guy is the best... they even smile and say good morning when meet up with customer...

I'm not really pleased with my stay at your hotel, because the service was not that good. I was borrowing your hairdryer but without my consent it was taken away by the room service, the next day they said that I can not use the hairdryer anymore because it was out of stock. On the second day, when I got back to my room at night, my door was open. But luckily i found nothing missing. But it was very reckless leaving my door open after cleaning the room. Also, when I was ordering/borrowing something from the room service, they never get it right at first, they always done it wrong, for example I was borrowing two bowls and two sets of spoon&fork, they always brought only one set and i have to wait for it again. That's my experience staying at your hotel.

« I woulve given 1 star but im being kind »

My gf bought some stuff and was asking if the staff could deliver her parents room. The staff said 'how about i open the elevator for you' and im like whatever thats just how Medan people are. Also I ask if I could have a 2nd key, since my family was sOk Pak, i just checked with Bayu. He said that the quotation for Chawla should be finalized on Monday. Bayu said should be the same but he said it is better to wait till Monday. Also i went out of the hotel at 9AM. I came back at 5 PM the room has not been cleaned. Tldr: it was not worth it staying

The room incl facilities is neat and clean. Perfect location - next to a supermarket, fancy restaurants and cafes. Need an improvement on the quality of breads selection for breakfast. Traditional local goodies/kue basah and foods are fine. Should continue serving these kinds!

Check-in was efficiently handled by Pak Dicky. Although the non-smoking room requested was unavailable till 2pm, he advised us to take room 916 as it will not smell of smoke due to proper ventilation. It was fine for our 4-night stay. Room 916 was adequate for our needs - bed was comfy but pillow way too soft. Flimsy bedroom slippers were provided - far too thin. A bathrobe would be good but none in the room. The bathroom water went from warm to cold once in the shower, not nice. Bathroom size is suitable for two persons. No face towels, only bath towel and hand towel. On the fourth day, we had to ask for towels as none provided after the room was cleaned. The clothes area was small with just four clothes hangers, not enough for two persons sharing the room. Daily breakfast was fine for Asian palates. Food was tasty and quickly replenished except on Sunday morning when Streats was full and busy. The breakfast crew was prompt and attentive in cleaning up tables - they deserve to be commended for their efficiency and cheerful service.
