Short stay in hotel was overall good. Bar ambience and crowd was ordinary. Too high charges for transport to air port from taxis. Food menu looks overpriced. Rooms and interior are good as well as location and beach surrounding.

« Great location. Good hotel. Coordination between staff lacking. »

Issues in getting things fixed in rooms. Staff forgets even after telling they will send person to fix something. Getting wheelchair or a buggy is aleays an issue and requires ghest to personally fetch the same. Happened several times. Reception is called but buggy drivers do not get message. Young and enthusiastic staff is very helpful though. I think they all need to be connected by mobiles to improve coordination. Doors dont close is mist bathrooms properly. I had taken 3 rooms and all had some issues with doors. Toilet roll spare is not kept in room even whrn getting over. Staff creating big hassle is allowing bfast to be taken to room for kids. Ms Gita GRM was very helpful .

I had a great time at Novotel Dona Sylvia. It's a great place to take a vacation with family and friends away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The landscape of the resort is serene with beautiful cottages and a lot of greenery. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff of the hotel are very helpful and jovial. The food was excellent.

« Wonderful but for the last day. »

The stay was pleasant Good was good. Staff was courteous. Room was spacious. Campus was beautiful Room air-conditioners, it seemed, had not been serviced for years. Cooling was ineffective Check-out left a scar. Although, I had a voucher that clearly mentioned that everything except tobacco and drinks, would be billed to the firm, yet I was told to pay for my meals. The lady at the reception said that the information that the hotel had was that only the rooms and breakfast were to be billed to the firm. I showed my voucher to her Android even emailed it to Novotel. But, she refused to accept it. I was made to wait 40 minutes. There was no attempt by the seniors of the receptionist to solve the problem. In fact, they did not come out of their rooms to discuss the matter with me. Worse, the taxi driver was called and instructed not to leave unless I cleared the bill . Forty minutes later when they received an email from the booking firm that all amount should be billed to the firm ,did they allow me to leave. Although, Mr Sylvester on my company's behest, spoke to people in the booking section that all the amount should be billed to the firm, they refused to believe him. The Novotel booking staff made no attempt to contact the third party that had booked my stay at Novotel. What is the point in issuing vouchers if Novotel does not consider customers' vouchers to be genuine? I had even emailed my voucher to the email id provided to me by the lady at the reception and told her that if the amount was not cleared by the firm then Novotel could contact me. Yet, she did not accept my offer.

I have reached a little early but I have got complete assistance regarding early checkin , the beach is easy approachable and clean , breakfast was with multiple choice and varieties ,the service was prompt and all my quires were solved within 5 mins .I just loved the ambiance ,pool and the villas. The room and bathroom was specious and clean . I strongly recommend the hotel for any one who is visiting Goa . Even the location is awesome and guests can also avail a famous restro bar - Mike's place which is within the walking distance .

« Fell short of expectations from a Novotel Experience »

I did not receive the welcome that an Accor Member arriving at an Accor property duly deserves Every additional customer experience that was requested was turned down with one excuse or another Did not have a courteous service at the swimming pool & the standard of the pool was also found lacking some basic maintenance. The staff at the restaurant were found lacking in basic customer service & all seem to be working under pressure without a smile on their face. I was satisfied since I did not affect any of the above experiences to affect my rare full family Goa vacation & I am giving this feedback so that the excellent property that you have can be put to better use for Novotel & also to its loyal Accor Club customers.
