« The lift is too far from the for rooms the other side , should have stairs or lift location should re locate or??? »

Overall staff are nice , the rooms are big and spacious. The location is perfect , closet to beach. Shower were clean but a few mould spots. But all and all we had a great time.

I cannot understand you are paying 4000 USD during booking and during check in hotel will get security of 600USD by blocking amount from your credit card. wtf it is?

« Lost Belonging and no way to find it »

when I left I accidentally left my KINDLE in room. when I came back to look for it the next day, I only got a card with a confirmation number of 13… and phone number of +66…. The front desk girl said i could call that phone number to recheck if the kindle can be found, while actually there is never anyone to pick up the phone.

As I do understand how hard and challenging is to deal with day to day issues in hotels and how difficult guests may be. Also what is very important to mention is the fact, that I have scheduled the holiday for me, my partner and our mothers as a thank you (something nice for you parents to say thank you for many years of their support and so on, and also something new for us as a family as we never ever had holiday together); to cut story shorter, for me it was very important to experience with them 100% service and pampering they deserve. - Our holiday started lets say ok, check in was at 2pm so even though we arrived at 8 am I did not expect to get our room before 12pm. I thought that once reception will acknowledge the fact that we have arrived much earlier they will at least try to get us rooms asap. On the contrary, they knew we are in the hotel since 8am and they still didi not manage to check us in at 2pm but only at 3:30pm. Little disappointing but still no reason to complain and we all overlooked this one. - when I filled in all the necessary paperwork in order to check in and we gave reception our information and credit card details, we realised that only one room has breakfast. No problem we will add breakfast for the other room I thought. There were three people staying in the room so we paid breakfast for three people. Once we were in the room I read room guest directory and realised that extra bed in the room already includes breakfast in the price of the extra bed. Therefor I went to the reception where they refused to refund breakfast for one guest on extra bed. I did not make a fuss and asked for hotel manager email, thinking that I will sort things myself. On top of this issue I still did not receive my invoice. - next day I email Mr. Madis and asked him to meet and discuss this issue. He was very nice and seemed to be helpful, he assured me that he will sort this out and I will not be charged for the breakfast of the third person, as this is included in the price of extra bed. He also assured me that I will receive my invoice that evening. Perfect, I thought to myself. Unfortunately next day when we went for the breakfast I was asked by the receptionist to pay additional 3000 BTH for the breakfast what made me want to laugh at that time, so I spend again 30 minutes explaining reception what the issue is, they told me to come back in the evening. In the evening I came and I was asked to pay 1000 BTH, so I did thinking that they might have been some miscalculation from my side. Invoice still not ready. Following morning I came to pick up invoice and to sign paper that I have received a refund for the breakfast. Guess what? Invoice done incorrectly, refund miscalculated and me disappointed. So I spend again 30 minutes at the reception, but this time I took your supervisor on the side, wrote down all the costs of the rooms and breakfast and showed her how to calculate the cost where she could finally see mistake they made. Later that day I received a letter that my invoice will be ready for pick up in the evening and that I will be given 800 BTH which they miscalculated and charged me by mistake on a final day of our stay when I will settle rooms service and bar bill. No worries, I thought to myself and agreed. - since this happened we had to wait every morning at the breakfast for the breakfast supervisor to confirm with the reception that the breakfast is paid as they did not have this information by the restaurant desk. I found this after two days very embarrassing, my family felt awkward and did not understand what is going on, and at the end when my mother asked me if I need money to pay for the breakfast assuming that I did not pay or I did something made me feel terrible. - we had extreme amount of ants in the room, we complained abut this, we were told that rooms were deep cleaned, but it did not get rid go the ants. Generally cleanliness was very good, I believe this issue comes from nowhere completely else and not cleanliness. Also smell in the rooms was horrible, and I know this has also simple solution. - I find very strange that there was no guest relation manager on duty at no time throughout any day of our stay. Also the restaurant manager was not to be seen and not even GM was around ever to talk to. I found also strange that our problems were not handover in DM log on daily bases, and what made me gobsmacked was a comment of the receptionist that their hand over is sometimes not clear. To tell this to the guest and acknowledge hotel mistake? Very bad. - on Sunday I came to settle the final bill. I came earlier as we were supposed to leave at midnight to the airport and I did not want to be held by the reception that late so I simply decided to do this during the day. First they did not include refund of 800 BTH as agreed, after I brought this to their attention, they miscalculated refund again and refunded just 200 BTH, at this pointy I was resigned and just said that I do not care anymore and that they do not need to refund me anything just to give me the bill and let me go. Supervisor heard me came and sorted this, corrected refund and after another 30 minutes of my holiday time we somehow settled all hotel bill and I received an invoice. I asked if I still need to come to the reception or we can just leave at midnight and receptionist confirmed that all is settled and we can just leave when ever we are ready.- at midnight we were stopped by the concierge and told we can not leave until reception confirms that all payments are done and we do not owe any money. I thought once more, that after all what happened I just wait for a minute to confirm that all is fine, well it wasn’t a minute. Receptionist came after 10 minutes to inform us that breakfast is not paid. Can you believe this? After a week of me going on daily bases to the reception trying to sort this stupid issue, we were told that breakfast is not paid. In that moment I told my family to get in the taxi, which was already waiting for us 20 minutes and I wanted to leave. Concierge came outside told something taxi driver and that refused to leave. After another 10 minutes concierge came out said that all is paid and fine, like nothing happened and told taxi driver that we can leave. We nearly lost the flight because of the 30 minutes delay caused by your staff. I tried to call Mr. Madis, but he did not answer which I understand as it was midnight and he might have been sleeping. - at the reception I asked for the tax refund as I am not a Thai citizen and I am entitled to receive taxes back, I was told that I will sort that out at the airport. Well unfortunately at the airport I can sort out just goods taxes and not taxes for services. This was supposed to be done by the hotel and I was not supposed to be charged taxes. So I lost over 4700 BTH. Overall, I booked a rooms in the hotel because of your tradition and experience in hospitality and I wanted my parents and family to experience what I knew is one of the best. They felt so so sorry for this that it literally, and I am not kidding, ruined part of our holiday. I decided to pay much higher rates than I could have paid in different hotels because of your name. Well, this property does not deserve to be called SWISSOTEL, and you should be reviewing your staff, and TRAINING which is in a huge need of updating in here.I would like someone to get in touch with me please and suggest how we will resolve this issues. I am really sorry it did have to come to this point. I still can not believe this happened in SWISSOTEL property. I am still waiting to wake up and think that it was just a bad dream.

« Nice time in phuket »

I had very good time in your hotel,service in front desk and 7 th floor brekfast was superb and staff was very helpfull.,also food was great.Pool areas were very good,especially 7 th floor.I had the suite room and that was ok,only thing what I didnt like was balcony and wiew from the room was not nice,also gym should be bigger in that kind of big hotel.

« A bit disappointed »

The room does not provide us with an option of twin beds. The cushions and pillows are stained. The staff did not automatically refill the shower gels. The room was filled with smoking smell which seems weird. The food provided at the executive lounge did not have many varieties or special variety as compared to that offered to the general guests. I have expected better and cleaner room at swisstotel.

« Rooms not clean. »

We stayed in room alloted by reception, but the room alloted had all kind of ants and was not good not good as I had a kid with us we had to change the room and you are given the room number 656 this room again had all the curtains what does t and still it had a problem of ants because we are the vacation we not further change for the rooms. Even the even the housekeeping was not upto mark we expect a better room and services for the amount we have paid.

« Nice hotel, but. . . »

Odor in the lobby is a little concerning. Common areas like around the elevators and in the hallways is dirty with gum and dirt stuck to the floor. Upgraded room was nice and clean and comfortable and quiet. Restaurants served food that was excellent. Employees were helpful and wait staff was attentive.

« The experience wasn't good at all »

The staff was totally in uncoorperative. They usuallh used to deny if we asked for any help . Thr hotels lobby seems to be a shady 2 star hotel .I think the hotel is just a spot on swissotel's name and I am not gonna recommend it to anyone ever.
