« Hotel is good, but have a air condition problem »

Overall we have a nice stay at this hotel, but have a problem with the air condition so the room is too hot for us. After we complaint to the staff, they change our room to the new one.

« Friendly hotel »

Well suited double room for family with two kids, very friendly staff advising about sightseeing in Roma. Only difficulty is maybe parking, streets around are very busy. The rooms were clean and modern, the hotel restaurant is fine as well. Breakfast reasonable, much nicer than in Ibis Style hotel we were this year in the spring.

« Great stay »

Overall is good. Rooms is big and clean. Breakfast - even the choice is limited - is delicious. Metro alibis is within 10 minutes walking distance. Wifi a little bit unstable for certain room number - facing back end of other building but is great if facing the main street. Check in and out is quick.

« Our expectations were met over and beyond. »

We arrived tired at Art Noba early in the morning after a long flight. It was too early to check in and we wanted to go and explore Rome but couldn't with all our baggage. Richard? met us with a smile and kept our baggage in safe keeping. He then directed us to the bus stop which took us to our activities. After our eventful day we arrived back at our hotel and was greeted by the very friendly and helpful Mario who informed us that our luggage was already safely delivered to our rooms. He provided us with a adapter, told us about a delightful little Pizzeria with the best pizza in Rome and arranged for a take away breafast as we left at 5 in the morning. We were impressed with their service. The rooms are neat and tidy.

« Disappointment and great suffering »

I was two weeks at this hotel but instead of two weeks of fun and pleasure these were two weeks of suffering. The hotel is located in the area of construction and all day from 07.00 hours in the morning and till the afternoon hours a unbearable noise. I appeal to the reception but without all of the granting of a solution. Sorry but some of the reception staff very not friendly and very not attentive to guests problems. If when I ordered the room would indicate the possibility of noise because of the area construction I would think twice before I order in this hotel and pay 1000 euro for two weeks of suffering.

« Threatening a Guest and Requesting to Sign a Declaration  »

I fully understand that guests may be required to pay taxes that are not included in the hotel price charged when I receive the confirmation email. For instance, such taxes are clearly stated in the attached confirmation so that guests will be asked to pay such taxes when they check-in. However, I was requested to pay so-called room occupancy tax when I check-out and the confirmation sent to me is clearly mentioned that taxes and charges are both INCLUSIVE in the price of rooms. When I stayed in Accor hotels in Venice and Florence, such arrangement is clear and no dispute happens so far during all stays before. I was even threatened by the hotel manager that he would call the police if i continued to speak loudly to his staff. It seems that his voice is even louder than me! Besides, I was even requested to sign a declaration to the government that I am fully aware of such tax and administrative sanctions will be applied to me according to the government rules. I never experience such kind of staff and arrangement before in IBIS hotels. First of all, if such tax is known, it should be spelled out clearly when I receive the confirmation email and they should be charged or informed to the guests while check-in instead of asking the guests to make additional payments when checking out. On top of that, I also experience the poor management of the Nevermind Restaurant. When I request for knowing what will be served for lunch before so-called lunch time, my answer is "I will be informed during lunchtime". When I went to the restaurant to enquire about the lunch menu, what I got was some names of the main courses written on a memo-sized slip in Italian only and it took me at least 20 minutes for the waiter to explain what the menu is and the prices. As a hotel restaurant, it is a common sense to provide ready-printed menu and usually in more than one languages so that guests from different parts of the world can fully understand what food and beverages are provided, even before lunch time so that guests can consider if they like to stay in the restaurant for lunch or not. This experience here gives me an impression that restaurant management is not professional and not guest-oriented.

« Faraway location, but excellent rooms, breakfast is horrible, helpful front desk  »

Hotel is fine, but we didn't know it was an ibis franchisee hotel, so the original ibis/Accor experience was missing. Rooms are excellent. But breakfast experience is bad - staff is always scowling and grumpy. However front desk was very nice and helpful

« Good Rooms, far out from city »

Rooms were excellent, but nothing else was. Location is quite far out from the city and airport, not close to metro stations, although bus stop was close. Breakfast was average, and the restaurant staff was always grumpy and very poor service. Front desk however, was very warm and helpful. Housekeeping was good.

« There are rooms only for persons with disabilities?... »

I paid two rooms for one person each. We are in the power of our health. But we were obliged to stay in two rooms for persons with disabilities. Also, each morning, starting 06.30 a.m., we where obliged to support the noise of some works. We announced the reception and they tell us that in another building there are some works. It was not true. We paid for the silence, not for excuses or for other reasons.

This was the best hotel we stayed in on our trip. It exceeded our expectations. Mario was a great help as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I will stay here again when I have a return visit.

« Only rooms for persons with disabilities? »

I was chocked after paying two single rooms and I received two rooms for persons with disabilities. The rooms where very poor concerning the facilities. Also we were obliged to listen every day, from 06.30 a.m. a lot of noise. When I mentioned to the reception all the discomfort, they told us that the noise was coming from another... building. It was not true...

Dear Dan, I'm sorry for Your displeasure regarding the rooms; I'd like to explain that the rooms for disabled people are different from other only for the bathroom, that is in this sense organized; If You had communicated Your difficult to stay in that rooms at the reception, I'm sure we didn't change rooms because we didn't have other rooms available. Facilities in that rooms are the same that in the Others : free wifi, minibar, free tea/coffee maker, minisafe, TV 32'... Furthermore, in the building next us, there were renovation works but they never started at 6.30 am, and i assure that it's true:-) I hope we will have the possibility to have You as our delighted guest in the next future, and we apologize if this stay was not to your liking.

« Nice modern hotel with friendly helpful staff »

It was a nice stay with clean rooms and a nice breakfast buffet. We experienced problems on our first night with a room that was next door to some apartments with building work going on plus the shower head was mouldy but the management were very helpful and moved us into a much better room. All in all very good

« Good for budget price »

Good: Air Conditioning, Good pillows, Tea/Coffee facilities, restaurant, powerpoints next to bed. Bad: Very Hard bed, small shower that wets the floor, light outside door shines in under door at night.
