It was so close to be absolutely perfect - I wish their Absinthe bar staff is as good as the rest of the Hotel and Chic (restaurant) staff. Correspondence before travelling to Sa Pa - fantastic. No question was missed, email responses were swift and to the point. Check-in/check-out - could not fault it. As helpful as a 5-star hotel reception should be. The smile on the porter's face, the grand entrance, the customer service - we were made feel like there was no other guest in the hotel and we were their VIP! Room - if you ever wanted to experience luxury, make yourself a favour and if you are visiting Sa Pa - Hotel De la Coupole should be on the top of your accommodation list. We stayed on the 8th floor. The colour scheme was fantastic (and I don't even like yellow, but in the hotel it worked so well with black!). The bed was very comfortable. Not too soft, not too hard - perfect. There were choice of pillows, duck down quilts, beautiful crisp sheets. Although, I do have a couple of suggestions. In twin rooms, please add another armchair. We played paper, rock, scissors to claim the spot on the lonely (very comfortable) armchair (the fallback was the very comfortable bed). Furthermore, please consider adding outdoor furniture (two wrought iron chairs and a small table perhaps) on the balcony. Without them it's just a lost, empty space we were not able to enjoy it. Pool - luxury on a different level. Make sure you have your swimsuit packed! Restaurant - we were fortunate enough to have a few minutes of the executive chef's time (thank you Oliver!). Although we had the feeling he ran a tight ship, the staff was still absolutely fantastic and with a moto of let's help the customer as much as it was possible. The food was very delicious, very up high market, yet still reminded me of home cooked meal (something that warms your heart and wish your grandmother is still around). The atmosphere was ok, but had a tiny bit of an issues with naked manikins and dried plants. I rather not go into details about the Absinthe bar staff... Whether I would recommend to stay at the Hotel de la Coupole? Absolutely! Is it expensive? Yes, but worth every penny!

Loved, loved the hotel and the entire stay there! the staff was great too and even recommended to me a vegan cafe! as I am vegetarian. The swimming pool is awesome and so was the spa.

We spent 3 days, 2 nights in Sapa, staying at Hotel De Ka Coupole. The hospitality, staffs, and accommodation were extremely spectacular. Viewed-wise, and location-wise are best to either go around the city center just to get a feel of the local, or travel for sightseeing.
