I think that Fairmont Nanjing is a standard Fairmont hotel. Room is good, bed is comfort. but i don't know why this hotel doesn't provide mouthwash for their guests. The good point is they can provide Fairmont Fit and allow me to bring it to Fairmont Chengdu.

Overall, my stay was quite pleasant. The only problems I encountered were when watching the in-room movie channels. The volume does not go beyond the "20" setting and is barely audible at this setting, unlike the TV volume settings.

Overall everything was perfect. Like in Shanghai the service was outstanding. Let some small point to improve. The 62th floors was closed and now where, in the website or in the lobby was mention about it. I would prefer to be advise during my reservation. The truth is we would like to spend some time on the roof top and drink some cocktails. 61th let us a mix feeling the decoration let us this feeling like a drink in the lobby. We got the room 5217 and between the shower and the toilet the join is a bit black of mold. In the room is a Bose alarm with a possibility to put an iPhone. But the connection was for iPhone 4, perhaps think to add an adaptator.

Overall, my stay was satisfactory, although the issue with the heating/cooling system in the rooms still needs to be rectified (on hot days the cooling system does not go below 18 degrees. The guest privacy issue needs to be significantly improved, as hotel staff freely give out the guests' personal information (about check-in dates, check-out dates, confidential guest information, etc.)

Stay is OK, Rooms: A bit old, but still OK Gym: Small and it is annoying that they want you to go to one room to register and then go to another room for gym. But gym is decent. Staff: Not impressed with the service of the staff - often you run you head against the wall, where the staff does not want to help you, but that is where Graham (GM) come in and saves the day, by making things work. Breakfast: Is fantastic - one of the best i have tried in Mainland China HOWEVER it opens to late, any hotel wishing to cater to business professionals should have a breakfast opening at 06.00 - then you can close it 30 minutes earlier - no one is there at 9.30 anyway. Services: Better service on laundry - too expensive, not worth the money. Point System: It is TERRIBLE that Fairmont is running thier own seperate point system - i am an long time Accor member, gathering points all over the world, and now i need a separate membership for this? Plus you don't work with Any airlines or other partners, so these points are a waste of time - plus most of the time you staff forget to add them to my account, and then i have to fight them to get them added.
