It’s alwasy a warranty . every time I come to Fairmont I’m sure I will feel as at home; every small problem is always solved by the problem solving and the kindness of the staff, and this means a lot. Everybody was very disponibile with me and I always feel satisfied. Great breackfast and great services.

« Best Hotel in Nanjing! »

Stayed in a number of hotels in Nanjing, but the services in Fairmont hotel provide was extremely comfortable and unparalleled. Just next to Carrefour and metro station. Best breakfast spread ever! I would take Fairmont hotel as my first choice when I come to Nanjing Next time.

High comfort room, high quality services, all personnel was ready to assist me in anything I needed, the hotel manager welcomed us upon our arrival at 10 'o clock P.M. and took care personally of all our difficulties (language, transportations, booking etc), during our stay.

The service Fairmont hotel provide was extremely comfortable. From the entrance to the reception to the room service, I enjoyed a lot. I would take Fairmont hotel as my first choice when I come to Nanjing Next time.

« Very disappointed with the service »

I was very disappointed with the service I received at breakfast. The Service staff was not friendly and seemed that they did not have common sense regarding customer service. I asked the manager if I can take away some fruits on my plate as I don't have enough time to finish it. I was refused immediately without an proper explanation. I don't think they would be willing to help and service customers. I don't think it was acceptable in a 5 start hotel. I normally stayed at Marriott properties and never had the problem before. I asked if I could contact the general manager, I was not given their contact details either. I think their service standard did not qualify as a 5 star hotel..

Dear Mr Wang, First I want to apologize for the issue you had in our Altitude restaurant. I do agree with you that this is about common sense and being able to tell the difference between what is reasonable and what is not. Leaving breakfast with some fruit or a yoghurt or a can of soft drink is to my mind perfectly acceptable, leaving with a full breakfast in plastic containers is not. This is our challenge that we must both face and meet – when to say sorry to the guest (note sorry not NO). But that is our challenge not yours. So again I do apologize and I hope that you will try us again, if you do please let me know and if you have time we can have a coffee together. The most impressive thing over my last few stays is how you are thoughtful to remember what are needed to be put in my room in advance before it is asked. However , one minor drawback is the hotness of food delivered via room service. It is not hot enough nor is it being wrapped properly.

I still got phone call from landline inside my room after my" do not disturb" light on. In other fairmont hotels that I stayed before, no such issue at all. In addition, bottle water supply started with limited supply. My wife and I were not happy about this. We have been stayed with at least 6 different fairmont hotels and this is the first time we being told about bottle water supply limitation.

We enjoyed our stay, very convenient location to the subway. Friendly staff and we are impressed by the hotel GM! We saw him making rounds in the restaurant, the lobby and he escrowed my husband to the floor my husband wanted to go when my husband encountered elevator problems.
