I am a Accor Platinum member and was not granted access to the lounge and did not get any special treatment. The privileges that come with Platinum are the main reason I book Accor hotels.

« Good location,less service , good food »

Fairmont Makati did not make me feel welcome at all. The rooms are comfortable, the amenities are very luxurious, pillows can be improved, lobby lounge is lively, but service need to be improved to meet Accor standard" feel welcome ". Luckily the Front Office Manager was Great in solving all issues .

The staff and crew are very accommodating, professional, hospitable, friendly and very warm welcoming the guest. The room is clean and make sure that well kept. The food are good and well prepared & cooked also cater for individual preference if there is. I felt secured and well taken care off. Just feedback being a gold member of LeClub Accor given a chance to upgrade to Gold room if available. Overall experienced very satisfied during my stay in Fairmont Makati and I felt that is like my 2nd home when I was in there.

The moment I checked-in the hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful. The check-in and check-out process was fast and efficient. I checked in at almost midnight together with a colleague. We are obviously tired and yet our rooms seem have not been prepared. For a king size bed rooms reservation, the reception kept on asking if we are OK to take double bed room. When we request for king size bed room, it sounded we get downgraded because the king size bed room has no bathtub. The entire check-in process took almost 30mins. I have never walked in to a 5 star hotel and being downgraded when the hotel might be running out of rooms (because we checked in at almost midnight?). As I travel almost every week for work, you could imagine that I stay at various hotels quite a lot throughout the year. The 3 or 4 stars hotels seem to know better how to treat their hotel guests. 1st. The room I have booked should have been prepared in advance. If a guest comes in by midnight, you would imagine that your guest is tired and would like the room access immediately/ not being asked so many questions of alternative rooms because you run out of the booked room - not sure how you plan your room allocation. 2nd. Check-in process should not take more than 10 mins? 3rd. My colleague really got frustrated because he has to go for a meeting after checking in and the check in process takes forever - there is no service recovery from your end. Overall, I really hope to see improvement if I ever stay again at Fairmont Makati. Being AccorPlus member, I was hoping for some premium service which I did not experience.

Great overnight stay between connecting flights. The hotel is well located and the service staff is friendly and efficient. The main drawback is that walls are thin and sound travels between rooms.

I love how the staff and personnel takes care of their guests. They are very accommodating and makes you feel at home. Almost everyone has a smile to offer which makes it so relaxing (with an exception to one pool personnel who looks irate when I asked where the shower room is) but the whole experience was fun and my family enjoyed our stay.
