Hotel Facilities were amazing, Hotel Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Service was a bit slow at times. Cooking class that was part of our Luxury Escapes Deal was not as expected. We thought that we would be cooking and preparing. Also the room was extremely hot and unpleasant. Suggest more pool lounges around the pool as we found it hard to find a seat each day.

« Relaxing beach vacation »

We had a relaxing time at the Fairmont Sanur and absoulutely loved our Spa experience. We however have stayed at a couple other Fairmont's that we enjoyed much more. We chose the Fairmont in Bali because of our past experience and would say your other locations were much more accommodating and we enjoyed them more. The smell of sewage near the spa and green waters in the center water displays was pretty gross to look at. You could also upgrade your outlets to provide USB charging like so many other hotels are already doing in Bali which makes it easier for travelers. I would also hope that you would upgrade your drink menu we had a few drinks and were beyond disappointed. With all the fresh and tropical fruit your drinks were lacking taste and creativity. If you need inspiration the drinks featured at the Fairmont in Riveria Maya were beyond amazing and we still talk about them. Please step up your drinks especially because you are a luxury hotel and we had much better drinks all over bali featuring fresh fruits.

We stayed for a short family holiday and enjoyed the attentive, flexible and can-do service from the staff to be the highlight. We know Sanur well and have stayed at many other properties. I have already re-booked the Fairmont for next year, which is the clearest confirmation of how happy we were. My daughter is still talking about the turtle release, and I was impressed that the kids club had some rules for the children, such as requiring parents consent before the children could watch youtube etc. The staff also sat with the children while they were on games or online, to monitor content and try to engage them. Ive never seen that anywhere before. Food and beverage all as expected at a 5 star property and staff were accomodating to dietary and eating time requests which was a big help. Overall, an excellent stay.

Stayed for 6 nights as a family of 5 (chn aged 14, 12 and 11). Three bedroom villa that was HUGE! I am sure the 2 bdroom would have been enough! Beautiful resort, lovely pools, fantastic to have own pool at villa. Food lovely at all the restaurants.

« It was a beautiful resort and overall we had an enjoyable stay »

The resort and rooms are absolutely stunning and we had an enjoyable time. Dinner we had at the restaurant by the pool was absolutely delicious and the staff so attentive and lovely however the dinner we had in the other restaurant was average. We found our room to be too dark during the day and too noisy when trying to sleep because of the airconditioner and another motor running (maybe hot water system). Not being able to control the air conditioning was a little frustrating as we got extremely hot in the night. Staff were extremely friendly at all times.

« Fantasic rooms and great service »

My family 6 adults and 4 children Stayed for what was delightful week. There was something for everyone - the children's pool, beach and kid's club for the littlies and the main pool for the adults. The breakfasts were great, but it often took considerable time to get a waiter to take our off the menu orders ( a 35 min wait and several questions to wait staff for 2 coffees one day) The spacious rooms were amazing and the terrace area was put to good use. Other than breakfast, we didn't eat at the hotel ( and neither do many other guests my the look of the empty restaurants) even though we had vouchers for two dinners. Of course you expect drink prices to be higher in the hotel, but it would have cost us significantly more to dine in with the vouchers and have to pay for drinks than it did to go to one of the numerous local restaurants

We were very happy with our room, the food, and politeness of all staff. The facilities were beautiful, and we were able to enjoy the pool and spa during our trip. We thoroughly enjoyed all of the events, activities, and special dinners almost every night. We felt very safe in the hotel too! One complaint is that we felt there was a significant language barrier with some of the service staff. When requesting something for dinner or to drink, our orders were often misunderstood, and therefore came out incorrect. Overall, a wonderful experience for my new husband and me.

Our 6 nights were spent in the lap of luxury with service and surroundings to match. The only let down was smoke that filled the upstairs of our villa every night from surrounding restaurants. The resort runs on Bali time but that just adds to teh relaxed nature of your holday.
