« First time stay but not last. »

Very impressive hotel from the rooms to the staff everything was 5 star. One of the best breakfast choices I have had, did not try the restaurant as we did not stay long enough. Only problem was the only power point for the kettle was on the floor next to the minibar cabinet instead of inside it. Also money held on credit card for 5 days, Sofitel was only one day. Will be better prepared next time and will be upgrading.

« Excellent. »

Check in very good and efficient, same with room service, rooms clean, one low spot was Dinner one evening ,having to wait for the Final course for 2and a half hours with 5 kids was too much not the waitress fault, I spoke to the Chef and made him aware of my disappointment. Pool great but food service slow but food was good. Spa service very good and massages excellent Overall we as a family of 14 had a great time and would come back again.

« Lovely location but hotel is a little tired around the edges »

Was part of a company paid incentive trip so hotel was not my choice. Staff were pleasant enough, but seem to lack training and any sense of urgency in dealing with requests. When requests were dealt with, the response was often incorrect which was perhaps a language issue, not being clear in the first instance. The room, whilst very large, lacked enough wardrobe & drawer space. Basic things like and iron and board were not in each room and had to be called for each time required. The drain in the shower area was blocked and each time we showered the whole bathroom floor flooded. The air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool - ok during the day, but made sleeping a challenge - was also very loud. Lighting in the room is very low and we'd have appreciated more light - the room design meant we never got any direct daylight into the room (125).

« Warm, relaxed and friendly. »

While our room was a little “tired” it had a very comfortable King bed and was well looked after by the cleaning staff. Plenty large fluffy towels were provided and the bathroom was spacious and well equipped. Sadly a downside was the lighting. There were lots of lamps and globes but they gave very little light. The bathroom was particularly bad and reading in bed at night was problematic. A big upside of The hotel is the staff who are wonderful. We were shown around the resort when we arrived by our butler who had great English and was very well informed and friendly. The dinning room breakfast staff managed to remember our names and greet us at breakfast every morning with a smile and a few friendly words. They made our stay very comfortable and relaxed. Food on the whole was good. The main pool is great and once again the pool and restaurant staff are amazing. Service around the pool was great and the cocktails gorgeous. All in all we had a wonderful, relaxed and enjoyable holiday at The Fairmont. Thanks to the wonderful staff.

« Totally relaxing »

As we requested, you put us in the same room we were in when we first visited two years ago. Fairmont Sanur has wonderful, helpful staff. Nothing is too much trouble. The only downside for me is the high cost of drinks.

« Got “upgraded” to a room I didn’t want »

We got “upgraded” to the Spa room. I wanted the deluxe room. I think your Spa signature room is poorly laid out. The only good thing about the spa room is the free body massage and we didn’t receive that. We went to the spa and I asked about it but were told no. We had to pay for our massage. Our room service took forever to come to our room and the food was cold. We wanted to go to the Indonesian restaurant at the hotel but there was a wedding on the grass. The noise was too much to be able to enjoy our food. Overall this was our least favorite hotel of the 9 we stayed at while we were in Indonesia.

« Extremely relaxing Holiday at a great Resort »

We were very impressed with the service and politeness of the staff throughout our stay, management should be proud of the staff giving the Resort a good reputation. Variety of food choices was also very good. As a builder myself it was pleasing to see continuing maintainance throughout the Resort and prompt action taken when I did report an issue in our suite. Will definitely consider staying here again on any future trips to Bali.

« Ok, not 5 Star! »

Compared to last year the service was poor! On some mornings for breakfast I had to ask 5 times for coffee, twice for eggs etc. in general the staff seemed untrained or didn’t care. It was a very different experience to a year ago. There were 4 of us in the room and for half our time we only received 2 towels, kept having to ask housekeeping for more. I would not stay here again based on the bad service. I also recommend this hotel to 4 other families and came along with us this year so was extra disappointed with how bad the service was. This is not 5 Star service!

Our third stay at The Fairmont and the staff from check us in to once again to having to say goodbye could not have done more to make our stay very comfortable and left us with wonderful memories. We stayed in a one bedroom Villa w private Pool. Great value for money. Construction site at beach side was a bit disturbing, but announced and thus ok. Staff great. Some communication issues w front desk staff, but solved.

« What fantastic staff and fabulous rooms »

The Hotel was recommended to me I am a member of the Accor group and it lived up to it,s expectations I would highly recommend staying here I did not want to leave. I should have taken advantage of the laundry service instead of taking it to the local laundry that charged by weight and my clothes came back with die on them and as much as the hotel staff tried to assist me with interpretation the owner would not take responsibility for their action. The staff are a huge credit to the hotel

« Relaxing with great service »

Over all we had a great time. The staff are fantastic. Always there to help. We had a couple of issues although they were rectified quickly. One issue in the bathroom is the toilet is to close to the wall directly in front of you and when you stand up you can easily hit your head on the wall.which i did twice.. We are both medium built adults. So this would be a problem for a larger person. The food. The staff and anything we asked for was no trouble and just beautiful. I would stay again.

« First time in Bali »

On the recommendation of our travel agent, who was also staying there the week before us, we spent the first six nights of our first trip to Bali at the Fairmont and it exceeded all our expectations. We were travelling with our 2 year old daughter who the staff fussed over and made to feel very special. The staff were all fabulous and 95% of the reason for a high rating.
