« lovely stay, construction work was minus »

we enjoyed the stay and hospitability. Construction work blocked the views to the sea. The kitchen was great and provided as well good selection of glutein free dishes, thanks to chef.

« Great hotel, amazing food, but offset location and the staff is not listening at all! Prices by far to high compared to quality of service »

As I arrived at 6 o clock in the morning I asked not to get a room on the side of the street because of noisy cars. After having not been able to sleep over many hours, I again asked for another room: it was still on the side of the street and even noisier!! In room dining was all the time late and they mixed the amounts I was allowed to charge. Although I asked many times to correct it, it did not happen and I lost a lot of time. The bus shuttle was supposed to stop and drop/take some hotel guests in the evening at a very crowded place (Dubai Mall): in order to make sure I would be able to find the Shuttle, I called both the hotel and the shuttle driver. They both gave me wrong indications and though I supplied the driver to make him visisible, he did not show off. I lost over 2 hours and had to pay the taxi by myself. As I arrived I complained to the reception and they said they would reimburse me. But the day after, they had forgotten everything and did not make any gest to compensate!

I love the hotel and the staff are just so accommodating especially the Fairmont Gold team headed by Olga. All her team as so special and this clearly starts with the inspiration they get from Olga. Christine, Charlton, Aggrey and everyone is so amazing and attentive and made my stay so perfect!

Very nice room with great service. The construction on the beach of course is an issue as this creates noises but this is ok for a business trip.

« Very Nice Hotel »

The service and accommodation was very good. Unfortunately there was a lot of building work obstructing the view of the beach. The biggest problem was the hot water system or lack of it. I ended up boiling the kettle each day so I could have a shave in the morning whilst running the shower so the water would eventually heat up, this is not very good from a water sustainability perspective and is very wasteful of a scarce resource.

As always pleasant, except when booking we didn't know about the building work being carried out and this did affect the outlook, in hindsight I think we would have tried another Hotel, but I must say it was controlled well and the noise levels keep to a minimum. Staff as always very helpful. Food excellent as expected but very limited choice with the set menu, this was a little disappointing but again the Cheff was very accommodating.

We arrived at the hotel Fairmont after an extremely exhausting flight lasting more than 33 hours, with delays due to weather and missed connections. We found a haven to rest and recuperate which allowed us to enjoy the rest of the trip, our first in the Emirates.

*Excellent experience; *Room; pool; kids club; restaurant; and all other facilities except the beach are more than excellent; and sure I will repeat the visit again and again but after finishing beach constructions. *The only comment is the constructions on beach site which disappointed all the family members as we selected the hotel based on its private beach photos on the website. The issue is not mentioning or notifying anything on this regard on booking.com or through front office staff emails before the check in date. However; I believe that hotel management has a way for compensation after the constructions will be furnished :) But generally it was a nice vacation for adults and kids.

Upon arrival my brothers and I were greeted with a smile and an informative and friendly man. He was able to book us a non smoking room in short notice- thank you for being so accommodating! The room was clean and the facilities in the room were well kept. Each morning our essentials were topped up and we came back to a tidy and spotless room after a whole day of exploring the fantastic country. I was able to run a bubble bath and it didn't disappoint...LUSH. The guy who handed the towels for the beach/ pool was also friendly. We cannot thank enough Fairmont for making our first stay in your hotel a memorable one!
