Always good except the last visit which was on 5/6/19 due to the following reasons: - Receptionist cooperation is not up to the standard - Ac problem as technician was there till almost 3:45 am - WC flushing system does not work properly - Breakfast meal quality and variety were below average

All and all we had a good time. Coordination with room cleaning did not work out well and was not cleaned on return in the afternoon.

My wife and I stayed at the Fairmont Dubai on our way home from the Maldives. The whole trip was to celebrate our wedding anniversary, which happened to occur during our stay at the Fairmont. From the moment that we arrived, which as it happened was in the middle of the night on a Friday, we were treated to some of the best service I have experienced anywhere. Every member of the staff went out of their way to make a personal connection and make our stay a special one. I noticed how many instances of name recognition occurred. I noticed the smiles and eye contact. I noticed all of the little details that you might not consciously observe but would be grateful for having experienced them. the little details and gestures acknowledging our anniversary were very much appreciated. The treatment that we received made us reluctant to leave the hotel and discover Dubai. (We did however and the city is spectacular) Upon checkout, I took the front of house manager aside to praise the hotel and its staff. As I heaped my favorable observations upon him, he became slightly emotional. this indicated to me the pride that he felt for his staff and the establishment. The thing that I found abundantly clear was that the Fairmont has nurtured an outstanding culture among their staff and managers. There is no way that a group can perform up to such a standard unless they indeed feel a personal pride and stake in the institution. On our long plane ride back to Canada, we started hatching a plan to come back for the World Expo. I only hope that we'll find ourselves motivated enough to leave the hotel to see the exhibit. Well done Fairmont dubai. Well done.

Started well and went down from there, where to begin. First a door had a loose hinge on the refreshment cabinet so when you open the door it would drop down. One friend “white lady” came to visit no problem, lunch was fine but the dinner was lacking fries were old and looked like they had sat under a heat lamp all day, and the battered fish was rubbery at best like it had been frozen heated refrozen and heat to be severed. They did try and rectify it but taken the first plate back and basically giving us “fresh” but it ended up worse. When my girlfriend came to have lunch with me the next day and help me pack up to leave she was denied entry, possibly because she was Filipina. Top to the weekend off I had your valet service park my car over The Weekend (Thursday to Saturday checkout) driving there from Abu Dhabi only to have to purchase a new vehicle battery for some reason because my vehicle wouldn’t start and they wouldn’t tell me anything other “the car is on it’s way” when it clearly wasn’t, so I stood waiting around for 1/2 to 45 minutes until I got mad and ask to go to my car to find it with a dead battery.

Especially regarding the concerns you mentioned with our In room Dinging food experience we have investigated all matters and I believe that you already spoke to a Manager while being in house and therefore the Breakfast in the morning was taken off for the inconvenience you faced. While being in house all details have been shared with our culinary Team already as well to look further into it. I regret to hear that one visitor was allowed and another one was denied during your stay. Please be informed that as per policy no visitors are allowed, who are not registered upon arrival. We will speak to our Team once again that no exceptions should be done to ovoid any confusion such as you have experienced. Regarding the valet service, definitely our colleagues should have informed you right away about the battery outcome, we have shared the situation with the Manager on that day as well as our Training Manager to use that example for training purposes to avoid reoccurrence in the future. At Fairmont, we strive to provide a superior service for each and every single guest therefore please accept our honest apologize. Kindly be informed that your Feedback is taken serious and was shared with our Senior Management and individual Department Managers.
