in general the overall stay was very good, the only issue I can highlight was the checkin process, we arrived around 10 pm and there was only 1 staff handling the front desk for at least 20 min, until another staff came to assist, and the process was slow . the rest of our stay is to remember, very nice room, confirtable beds and pillows, nice pools.

Extremely pleasant stay in a very comfortable room. Facilities (pools, gym and restaurants) were excellent. Staff were very friendly and made sure our needs were being met. The hotel is located close to the metro train line and therefore makes shopping and getting around Dubai extremely easy. Definitely will stay at the Fairmont on my next visit to Dubai.

checked in on thursday early morning with the hotel full the staffs made it possible for me to have early check in and have room to rest.upgraded to my favorite room 23 series . didn't use any other facilities much as always out of hotel travelling. room service was as expected service with a smile. all the staffs made my stay very comfortable and enjoyable.

Can’t fault our stay other than the rooms are a little dated. Loved the spa experience and the breakfast options are delicious and plentiful. From the time we arrived till when we left the staff were all incredibly helpful.

The overall stay was average, except the meetings we had in the 33 floor where everything was good, if I have to rate the other services, I would say that you upgrade the following: - poor menu for diner - Poor noise isolation in the rooms. - The hotel is opened for several externals (Night club) who are disturbing the business clients or visitors. The staff was lovely! Restaurants were diverse. Furniture and fitting was not on par of the brand. Also elevator was being serviced during weekend which was very inconvenient considering the height of the building.

very unwelcoming reception, four of us waiting, two people at the concierge side with nobody in front of them, just busy typing something. it looked like the guy doing my check in was rushing to get past me, and my questions bothered him. i asked about breakfast , and he said brusquely that it was not included in my rate. he forgot about the welcome drink. and the key he gave me wasn't working for the lift. i had to come back to the reception desk. the second guy was more friendly underwhelming breakfast, same selection as everywhere, so so croissants (i easily find better, buttery ones near home) overlooked details in the room in the bathroom, broken tile that let see a hole in the wall in the shower, stagnating puddle of water

The hotel is nice although a little dated and I find the policy of closing one pool to open the other a little odd - in that heat, not everyone wants to lie/swim in the sun and to have the choice of lying/swimming in the shade would be welcomed. However, any faults are more than made up by the service offered in Fairmont Gold - the staff are amazing while the breakfast and canapés are delicious. I would happily stay at this hotel again based purely on the Fairmont Gold experience!

I was staying for 3 nights. One the first night after I have checked-in and waited 40min for my luggage to reach my room. I have found the bedsheet had a stain and the bathroom had hair. I have complained on how come I have checked-in and the room should have been clean. The housekeeping manager came and saw it, appolgized, then I left and they have sent someone to clean the room. On the same night I had my friend staying over and have called the housekeeping to send a vanity kit to the room. Vanity kit is the kit that has cotten pads, ear swabs, etc. And the housekeeping informed me that It would cost 95AED. This is unacceptable as this is complimantary in every hotel even 4-star hotels. I was emberresed by my friends and when you told the housekeeping that it is unacceptable and we only wanted the cotten pads he sent only the cotten pads for free. The day after when I went to take a shower the shower was leaking, went to take it in the bath and the shower head in the bath doesn’t work. I have complained and sent to another room. Usually 5-start hotels provide a better service to the customer and make it a better experince if there’s an issue faced. But I was only moved into a slightly bigger room, not a full upgrade, and was emberresed by my friend for choosing a poorly service and hygiene hotel. The only reason why I haven’t refunded the next night and stayed in another hotel is because I booked a pre-paid offer. As fairmont is an international chain and a luxury 5-star hotel and had some of the famous fine-dining resturant such as bagatelle and Opa. The outcome recived was not even close to half of what I expected. I will not redo my experince to stay in a Fairmont hotel again.
