Overall good. Bathroom was okay. There was an issue with hot water in shower and it would drop to ice cold for a few seconds in between and then directly to burning hot before normalizing to desired setting.

I had mentioned it was an anniversary trip and was told the hotel will decorate with flowers and towels on the bed - This was not done and hence was nothing special. Housekeeping was great.

I came with my family and stayed in 2 bedroom suite and had benefits of the Gold Lounge . The gold lounge staff and sevice is just out of this world . The staff Marium , Marwa, Edwin ,Madonna, Franklin and Calvin were really helpful and always greeted you with a smile . They treated us like a family . A big thank you to Hanah Cappuno who did my initial booking . Also a massive thank you to the duty manager Zulal who told all her staff to provide the best possible service to us . I had a problem with my foot and I was looked after so well by the Nurse Myra . Myra did my bandage every day and made it possible for me to walk around The Golden city Dubai . The night before leaving I was pleasantly surprised by a lovely get well gift from Myra the nurse Thank you Myra . On the whole my stay at the Fairmont was excellent and I wish to thank all the staff I have named . Excellent Superb highly recommended . Mrs Tina C. xx

Stayed for 4 days on the way back to Australia. From the pick up at the airport, to checking in, to just the general ambience from day to day. It was perfect. The staff amazing friendly, efficient, and unobtrusive. Even though the hotel was pretty much full, it never felt that way, and it was hard to leave. My LeClub Accor Status was recognized, and was given a fantastic upgrade to a Gold Floor Room, which was on the corner of the building, and had fantastic views back towards Burj Khalifa. There is nothing I could fault during my stay at all.

For sure its the first and last time to stay at any of fairmont hotels globally, The reason is while i totally understand that Dubai regulations prevent visitors to enter the hotels at Shaikh Zaid road, BUT the fairmont hotel should advise and inform the guest before he check in and clearly mention that in booking.com where i reserved my suite from.
