We had a short stay, but tried to fit in as much as possible. Had our US cell carrier suspend my mobile phone due to fraud suspicion...Franklyn in the President's Club lounge was very helpful in making necessary phone contacts back in the US.

First of all, upon entering the room we didn’t find any room service menu. Second thing, we ordered fish and chips and the fish was over cooked. It was like rubber. The rest is fine, staff are friendly.

My visit in Dubai was originally planned for 8 hours (layover between two flights). I have checked in about 10:30pm and left hotel right after to visit a friend. Meantime realized my next flight is about to board and i made a mistake in time. Rush back to hotel and even called hotel and asked to not take my luggage to room which they did NOT even help me with that!! took my luggage and went to airport and gave receptionist a short story of what happened and he promised me to not charge me or least reduce the rate. Despite he promised they charged me the full price!!! Please kindly help me to solve this issue.

By the lovely ambiance, superb interior, wonderful amenities and hospitable staff, we never would have thought of going outside the hotel for pleasure. Everything is perfectly offered inside the hotel. Our staycation just for one night is definetely worth it. Plus, i love your sunset pool.

« Dissatisfied that after 1 year of joining the Accor group, they are still not fully integrated »

The check-in staff are still not aware of what the Accor benefits for the different levels are and the hotel doesn't seem to be making any effort to provide the usually high quality service that Accor Platinum members get at the other 5-star hotels such as Sofitel. There was no welcome drink, no upgrade, no amenities in the room, no access to the club room, and no voucher for a free drink in any of the bars/restaurants. Most of these basics are provided not only in the 5-Star sofitels, but also in the Novotels. So very disappointed with the level of service from Fairmont.

« Very welcoming and efficient. Good location to DIFC and the airport »

Overall very good. This was my second stay but the breakfast buffet was noticably average in quality. It was poor compared to other hotels. Empty plates on the buffet, long queue at the egg station even though it was a quiet day. Many tables unset....Coffee arrived late and the bill arrived early....all so easy to fix.

« Use of hotel taxi service ruined my stay this time. Otherwise internal hotel experience was good as always »

I normally stay a few times every year. This time I used the taxi service which rents your space at the lobby entrance. The staff were rude, inefficient and dishonest. This seriously damages the Fairmont brand.
