« Another perfect stay at Fairmont Ajman »

We returned to the Fairmont Ajman having had a wonderful stay earlier in the year. Although we tend to book through our holidays through British Airways Executive club we are devoted Fairmont Presidents club clients and having stayed in Fairmont in Canada they are our preferred hotel choice. Every detail was considered and we feel that we received personal attention at all times. From the car to collect us at the airport to the complimentary room upgrade everything was just perfect.

We were satisfied. Italian and turkish restarants improve quality of meal. Hotel is luxury and comfort as every time. Beach. Hotel don't have enough sun umbrellas and sun beds. Staff on the beach (exeption for one boy, I think from Fillipines ) unpleasant and unhelpfull,. Housekeeping is pure. We had 2 bed room suite - towells was not enough for 4 people, huosekeeping was 1 time, we didn't have evening preparation. Coffe for coffemachine add not every day and not all capsules.

this was our 3rd year staying at the Ajman. Friday Brunch was no longer availalble and the selection of food available has gone down comparable to previous years. Example it did not cater for families with young children , simple food that kids like ... French fries, spaghetti , chicken nuggets. The service from staff was excellent.

Fairmont is a good hotel and it has good location. A bit crowded to get sunbeds with sun umbrella. Some people reserved early in the morning and difficult to get after breakfast. Restaurants are a bit overpriced Vs quality.

We just spent one night to celebrate our daughters 7th birthday. Fiona made such a huge effort to make it special. She arranged balloons and made a big fuss of our daughter throughout our stay. It made her feel very important.

Dear Mr. Desjardins, I wish to thank you and the team you are managing for the wonderful stay I had at Fairmont Ajman. The room was beautiful and, as always at Fairmont, I was very happy with the quality of the beds. I was on a business trip and a good night sleep is very important to me. I was especially satisfied with the personnel of the hotel, from reception, to the housekeeping to the restaurant. Everyone was very nice and professional. Please allow me to write a couple of words about the reception where, more than in other hotels, Marivon and Aliona made me feel like home. I am sure you are aware that in an international hotel such as this one, with a constant turnover of guests, it is rare that a guest can talk on a personal level with the staff. Well, it is my first experience of the kind, where Marivon from Reception, no matter how late it was, or how many guests checked in, always made time to talk to me on her shift, answer my questions about the hotel, the tours, Ajman and so on. Marivon's direct manager was also nice and patient with my requests. I can not emphasize enough that this is the kind of staff worth keeping and this kind of behavior promoted, as in a large hotel, I felt welcomed not by a standard smile, but by a genuine interest in making a guest feel comfortable. Referring to comfort, kindly allow me to make a couple of suggestions. I mentioned the beds were very comfortable. I can not say the same about the pillows. Maybe you could take in the consideration to change those for more ergonomic ones at a next change of bedding. As I was either sitting or passing through the lobby every evening during my 5 nights stay ( I was participating at PPL Middle East) I could not help noticing that at the reception or concierge there were no chairs for the staff to rest. Nobody complained, of course, but I could not help noticing and when I asked, I was told that it was a standing position. I am sure you are interested in the well being of the staff, as well as them being rested to tackle on the daily shift's demands from guests. However, no matter how well intended one employee is, after a 8 or 12 hour shift standing, day after day, sooner or later one of the following will happen: the staff will be tired and less interested in the guest's experience with the hotel or they will find another job and leave because their health will not permit keeping the job. I am sure that some kind of arrangement can be made so the reception staff can sit when they are not welcoming guests and I trust till my next visit this issue will be solved. Hoping my suggestions will be taken into consideration, allow me to express once again my thanks and appreciation towards you and your team during my stay at Fairmont Ajman. I am looking forward for another visit at the wonderful hotel you are managing. Best regards, Irina G.

The staff are wonderful and helpful. The pool and other amenities are fantastic. In our room we had a sea view room and there were issues with it. We didn't report them to the end because we were all moved in with a 4 month child and we didn't want to relocate. It was just a 2 night stay. ---ants all over the surfaces ---constant pool of water in the middle of the bathroom floor (hazard) ---refrigerator was hot and the food we put in there spoiled. We had to throw it away.

« Just what we expected from Fairmont! »

My husband and I were there just for a day, as a break from kids and work. It was a wonderful stay and experience, from checkin to checkout. We got a complimentary upgrade to a suite, and a late checkout. I've always loved the infinity pool, but this was the first time I checked out the beach. Pristine, clear waters... took me right back to my childhood, when the beaches were still good and full of seashells, unlike now. The food of course, was flawless. Each item we tried from the breakfast buffet was perfectly made. I'm already planning my next trip there!

We arrived the hotel at 1:30 am and the receptionist told us that the room will be available at 3:00 pm and was waiting until 45:45 until the reception gave us the key. The receptionist asked if you would like to continue booking or You wish to cancel your reservation if you dont like our service ???? I tried repeatedly to keep talking to one of the officials but no one tried to calm down the situation I think no one in the hotel has experience in how to handle and satisfy customers in check-out experience: there is only one employee named Mustafa Has experience in dealing with dealers And thank him for the good deal with us

Our stay at your hotel was extremely nice. The hotel is an immense experience. The view from the rooms is beautiful. The rooms are large, equipped with all facilities and are well maintained. The bathroom products you offer are extremely delicious. It smells great! The swimming pool is spacious with plenty of sunbeds and luxury. The idea of ​​a bar in the swimming pool is amazing and again gives that luxury feeling. There is plenty of choice for dining options. Restaurant offers a wide range of cuisines. Your service is very friendly and fast. We had a very nice holiday and hope to come back once more. One improvement point I would like to call is: When you order food at the pool, it takes an extremely long time before it is served.

Excellent attentive staff. Excellent furnishing in room and comfortable bed and air conditioning. Coffee machine not satisfactory. Housekeeping and response to requests excellent. Food was very expensive and not of a high standard, dining experience acceptable but rather like a canteen. Appreciate is is difficult to feed so many guests. Suggest you lower prices in theme restaurants which were mostly empty. Outside breakfast area good. Beach and swimming pool and areas to rest excellent and staff patrolling and life guards attentive. Loud incessant heavy disco music with bass not acceptable early morning. Will contact hotel direct in future since Booking .com left me aggrieved by constant changing of prices and rates. Appreciation to Manager of Spectrum for response to complaint about sushi. Dexter and Timothy for attentiveness and to Security guard who spotted my wife had a cut on her leg and attended her.Unlikely to return since we travel a lot to new places but will and have recommended this hotel.

« Fairly disappointing. Very beautiful hotel but the service was dismal »

Upon arrival there was no hot water in our room. That was attended to quite quickly but a bit inconvenient since we had just gotten off a long flight and couldn't freshen up nicely. Besides that, the service was good until check-out. We used the luggage storage facility and when it came time to retrieve our luggage after a day of touring, our luggage was missing and was apparently boarded on a bus with passengers that had identified 4 pieces of luggage as their own. This was astonishing to me as we had received a ticket once our luggage was stored so I could not understand how other guests could have taken our bags. It was obvious that the hotel staff had failed to asked those guests to provide ticket confirmation; what is the point of the ticket system then? The hotel staff was frazzled and ill prepared for this situation. Our airport shuttle (which we had paid for) left us and it took hours to solve this issue. This was the most appalling thing that could have happened, especially for a supposed five star hotel. There seemed to be no regard or care for the fact that we could miss our flight. There was also no available transport to take us to the airport at the hotel which again, was astonishing. They failed to offer us anything complimentary, not even a glass of water while we waited in the lobby. No formal apology from management or some form of complimentary gift for this given to us for this disgusting situation! I'm still in awe of how poorly this was handled. Thank goodness we got to the airport on time, only one person from the staff had a sense of urgency but the rest seemed to take it very lightly. Your luggage storage system needs to be vastly improved! Even as we stood there waiting for this matter to be solved, we could see other guests luggage just placed in the lobby corner for any random guest to visually and verbally claim. It should be locked up in a room and not be removed until requested upon, BY TICKET, by the guest. Such a disappointing and dismal end to our trip. Nothing my sister and I expected from such a illustrious hotel.
