Good experience overall. Staff very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean. However, few changes are required to improve the guest experience: the bed is not comfortable at all. The rooms are getting old and need some refurbishment (paint, tiles,...). Same thing for the swimming pool (quite few tiles missing, cracks on the edges,...)

We took the suite, and from the beginning to the last it was perfect from the staff from the reception to the lounge and room service they were all amazing and helpful. Miss Farida was the most great person and the lady responsible at the lounge. But one tiny advice i wished if the gold suites had a vip service at the beach and the pool.

I booked a fairmont gold room for two adults that was to include lounge access. The room was serviced for only 1 guest, the shower had no hot water, my mini bar was completely empty and the room was one of the smallest i have stayed in. The lounge was supposed to offer breakfast the following morning but upon checkin i was told i would need to go to the buffet downstairs. The buffet was understaffed the following morning and the waits for live cooking were long. I paid a premium for services that were not even provided on a basic level. Disappointed that upon voicing my concerns that a manager was not asked to give some sort of compensation

The experience is phenomenally positive. All of the staff I come across anywhere will greet you with a smile if not HI. For us, the most important thing in hospitality industry are the people, amenities or facilities goes second. Christine the manager, the Filipina Lady from the Food and Beverage on the Gold Floor, Viktoriya and Farida from the Reception of Gold Floor are the people we will remember the most during out 3 nights stay, they are the GEM! They made our check-in, meal experiences and check out experience so smooth that we felt we are leaving home for a second. The restaurant has so many options and we loved the varieties of food that has been served on breakfast. The stunning View from our room, the Grand Mosque, the Beach, the Jet Ski, The Pool, The Lobby, The Piano, the Hallways, The Room itself and Bathroom are all Top Notch. Can't complain! Oh oh there is one imperfection of course and if I'm being honest, they missed to give us the Dental Kit :) But they came in a heartbeat when we requested it so yes that made it up. If we are to come back to Abu Dhabi, it'll come first on our list of choices or perhaps we'll just book this hotel no more second thoughts :)

Hotel and facilities were lovely, food was amazing. The only thing that let it down was the lady that checked us into the hotel we found quiet rude and not welcoming. She told us nothing about the hotel.. we didn’t know where the pool was, was restaurants you had, where breakfast was and what time, how to book restaurants, where to get towels from etc etc. She then told us she would phone when our room was ready but this did not happen. Unfortunately that was a bad start to the stay! I

everything was perfect ,until unexpected noise by labors at 7am was there on the 3rd day of Eid which is Friday also and early morning as well !! Staff service was extremely good, food was also very good. Wet rooms were a poor design as a shower left the bathroom a swimming pool so taking a bath or trying to hang up towels meant walking though water. There were some issues with restaurant booking and would suggest staff training.

Staff were friendly and hospitable, which made our stay very enjoyable.

Booked a Gold Room; not on very dirty but requires updating. Building work being carried out at the hotel, not advised on either you hotel website or on check-in. Gold Level Club Lounge service was poor, felt usured away, no information on Ramadan including Mosque opening times etc. Very poor.

Not as good previous visits. Worst room I have stayed in at the Fairmont. Dirty, broken fixtures and fittings, poor flow of water, most of the toiletries were not there, check in took ages, check-in person was unware that I've stayed many times before. Not up to 5* standard. Café Sushi food was very good. There seems no incentive for recurring visits to the hotel - just standard treatment. I'm inclined to try other hotels in the future.
