« Lovely hotel with very nice attentive staff »

The whole stay was very nice, we ate once in the main dining room, which sadly did not have any other diners, but took the Cambodian tasting menu, which ( I am a food blogger) definitely came up to scratch. Likewise we ate one breakfast, a la carte, which also was very good. The rooms are great nd the general level of service exemplary .

« 3-Star Hotel Experience at a 5-Star Hotel Price »

While it's understandable that the rooms are not modern, it's disappointing to to pay top $$$ for an expensive suite only to get a room without proper lighting and without balcony furniture (considering that other, cheaper rooms do have balcony furniture). In-room dining was extremely disappointing for 2 reasons: (1) It was often very late. One time it even took almost 1.5 hours for a simple breakfast order. (2) The quality of the food was not good enough. For example, the milk served with coffee or cereals is definitely not fresh milk, but tastes like the cheapest carton milk you can possibly find. Another example is that while we ordered soft boiled eggs one time, we got eggs that were either raw or so softly boiled that it is equivalent to raw eggs. I know it might be difficult to make soft boiled eggs, but if I'm at a 5-star hotel I expect them to be able to do so. And the least I expect is to be served raw eggs.

Everything was really great - room was lovely and as it was our Golden Wedding celebration trip our bed was decorated with red rose petals in a heart! Plus we had lovely red roses and a special anniversary cake and fruit! All the staff were so attentive and the breakfast was the best on our trip.

Quiet room was great. Staff was really friendly and helpful. The concierge recommendations on food was superb. Mr Reach was exceptional and tries hard to make my stay perfect. He was so apologetic when he first agreed 3pm checkout for me 2 days in advanced but had to informed me the system could only do 1pm with one more night to go. I knew it wasn’t his fault but this final twist put a stain on my stay since I had to make some last minute changes in plans and rush back from office to check out.

The staff is generally very good. The room comfortable. Food, particularly breakfast excellent. However there is a changeover in staff and not all are totally trained yet. The upper management has made the decision to be quite separate from the guests. I'm sure many people appreciate this. However as a somewhat frequent long term guest, I enjoyed the occasional conversations with the G M, etc.

Without doubt one of the favourite hotels I stayed during my time in Cambodia! Upon arrival I was warmly welcomed by the staff and general manager and my room was upgraded to Suit Room. The staff was extremely friendly. I stayed here for two weeks for a business trip and enjoyed my stay. The staff were helpful and always got me whatever I requested for. The staff at the concierge desk, guided me very well for things to do when in Phnom Penh and also guided fairly to have a weekend trip to Siem Reap. The hotel property was good and it had two pools along with the garden area. Also it was so relaxing to sit by the pool and walk in the garden area during the morning and evenings. Overall it was an amazing stay!!!... will surely visit again

« Wonderful hotel very personable felt like a boutique hotel. All Staff were exceptional. »

We were greeted by the Hotel Manager Mr Dennis De Groot who was lovely and made us feel very welcome. It was also nice to see him walking around the hotel daily and greeting people. We were pleasantly surprised when we were upgrated to a beautiful large room and being our 30th Wedding Anniversary, a lovely cake greeted us upon arriving in our room. A lovely touch! Our butler Sambath looked after us graciously, always ready to help and with a smile. The concierge staff were very friendly and gave us many ideas on where to eat & what to see.The pool was gorgeous and a welcome after a busy & hot day out. The Elephant bar was nice to sit and have a drink and nibble in whatever the time. Such a gorgeous atmosphere to be in. Breakfast was amazing too. Overall we cannot find fault in anything. Thank You for making our 30th Wedding Anniversary even more special! :)

« Though the staff were wonderful, the rooms are in need of attention/upgrading. »

Very nice overall - this being my 5th stay at your property. Your staff was wonderful, but we had issues with our rooms that should not have happened in a five star property, when we were paying $250 for each room. We had four rooms booked, and 3 of them had issues with the TV not being tuned and the refrigerators being hot. One also had a massive air conditioning leak all over the floor. Staff came quickly to attend to these matters when called, but they should hot have happened in the first place.
