« Room issues, Service Fantastic »

When checking into your hotel, the entire staff shows excellent customer service. The only issues I had was with the room where I had a lizard crawling the ceiling and they could not find it when it went into the lighting fixture. The TV reception was poor and could not get all the English channels. The breakfast buffet was average not up to standards and offering varieties like other 5 star hotels. My last day, I went to the Elephant Bar and ordered a hamburger which took over 20-25 minutes to get my order. The staff never came back to see how was my meal or refilled my water.

« A beautiful traditional hotel that provided excellent service and value. »

The hotel grounds are beautiful with two pools and wonderfully kept tropical gardens. The decor is wonderful to look at and the rooms are very large and well appointed. My room was clean and overlooked the pool and garden. It had very high ceilings and traditional decor. A ceiling fan and AC kept the space comfortable. The bathroom was large with a tub and separate shower with excellent water pressure. The main restaurant was very good and the dinner options were reasonably priced which provided good value. Service at the Elephant Bar and restaurant was pleasant but a little slow at times. I would definitely stay here again when I return to Phnom Phen and would recommend it to others.

Room was very disappointing, mattress and bedding was dirty and we got bit by bugs. Whole bedroom and bathroom needed a complete refurbishment. Also aircon was not controllable (was too cold when switched on) and was dripping &condensation everywhere.

Overall a wonderful stay with friendly courteous staff and beautiful traditional surroundings. Our luggage was mislaid by the airline and the concierge was extremely helpful in his support to liaise with the airline and organise delivery of the bags. We loved the Elephant Bar and chose to eat there rather than the restaurant which sadly was nearly empty each night. Our room was very comfortable although we were disappointed with the bathroom which was old and in need of refurbishment.

I am disappointed that IN SPITE of staying with you every year (at least once sometimes more) I am yet to receive any 'Loyalty Rewards'. Have been told in the past that in my next stay, complimentary offers will be made. During this visit I was given the same assurance and WONDER WHEN to expect 'Loyalty Rewards'.

« Good but room for improvement »

Staff lovely, great public areas especially main reception foyer, bar and pool. Bathrooms need updating as does the spa and gym (especially the steam room and shower area which is not inviting at all.) I would have had a massage at hotel if the facilities were more inviting instead I went to bodia spa.

« The hotel room conditions is bad »

I requested twin bed during booking, but the hotel arranged double bed then the staff suggested to add an extra bed in the room which is kind of impossible because the room was small. then after 15 mins that there will be a twin room availalbe in one hour then we waited for it. after we enter the room we have found the door lock (the metal one that blocks the door open completely) is not fit on the door and the shower was not working. then we informed housekeeping and we then went out for dinner, after dinner, we came back at 11:30am, we couldn't open the door using the key and we complained and finally sort out 2 separte rooms for us. the next morning my friend use the toilet and it was not working , water keeps flushing non stop and the engineering team came over tried to fix it , but after 12 hours it was still can't be fixed, so my friend has to move her room again. so i think i am very disappointed the room condition that Raffle has and very annoying that we have to move room 2 - 3 times.
