At check-in there was a brief wait for our room to be ready, the front desk provided us with drinks (and hot chocolate for my niece) in the bar - it was very nice and much appreciated after our long flight to Paris. The room was excellent (so glad we had two toilets, especially liked having the toto washlets). We enjoyed having drinks and light meals in the bar. Frederic was especially welcoming, and helpful in getting us a table. We enjoyed his hospitality when we were there October 2018 also.

really good hotel, the only problem for me was the room temperature- it was a bit too hot and the air con was not working properly. in order to be able to sleep I had to sleep wit the window open, but then I could smell the kitchen a bit.

Upon our entrance to the hotel we were greeted with multiple happy staff members who couldn’t wait to ask how our travels went and to assist us. The management and staff went out of our way to make sure that we were settled into our room, which they had fully prepared for our daughters, and even had snacks and boquet of flowers. It is a beautiful hotel and a great pool and spa area. We would definitely go back!

the room was noisy, I dont understand why for a room of 2 PAX you put only 1 body wash / 1 shampoo / 1 conditioner... Maybe as a frequent guest I am expecting more. It was the first time we had a problem with sturday's breakfast in-room Yet, I would like to thank Adelaide and the reception manager. I appreciate their efforts to make our stay better.

I hadn’t stayed at The Royal Monceau since 1984. In the 35 years since, it has and hasn’t changed a lot. The location is still fantastic and the service is still great. Not a fan of the Philippe Stark renovation. Too dark and mirrored for my taste. The hotel previously had an old world elegance, which is gone. Still a beautiful hotel though.

The staff responded to me with excitement as it had been a year since I returned. They were enthusiastic and welcoming, remembered my name and all my data and information was kept on file so the check in was easy. In my room were macaron, muffins and water with fruit. The bedding and environment comfortable - love the mirrors and beautiful art work in the room...truly a feeling of luxury! I truly enjoyed the breakfast selection - my favorite meal - the croissants are amazing (I had at least two per day) and loved the variety of food...cheeses, meats, breads, international offerings. My room service was excellent and a beautifully cooked and presented burger. Dining in Il Carpacchio was wonderful - the duck, the artichoke delicious and tasty. I am impressed with the staff - no matter where I was, I was greeted in the hallway, at the concierge, in the restaurant, in the lobby. I felt as though i were part of the family. It is apparent you train your staff well and it is a pleasure to be at the Paris Raffles - Le Royal Monceau.

1st room i was given was too noisy to sleep in. 2nd room was cold, I guess it hadnt been used for a few days, no light in the wardrobe, bathroom layout wasnt great. 3rd room was what I would have expected.

As I was booked at the hotel by my company, and we were quite a big group, the room allocation was very surprising. I must say that given the reputation of the hotel I am shocked that the sound proofing of rooms above the bar was so bad. No one could sleep through that and at your room rates, they would not be expecting to. The 1st night problem was not dealt with quickly, I checked in around 8pm and finally could unpack and go to bed at 1pm. In general your staff are very good, so i've no idea what went so wrong on this occasion. Your staff did a good job to move my room on the 3rd time, and your staff in the restaurant, the doormen and the reception and very good. The bad sound proofing in a room is not something they can do much about.

The hotel is very nice. The room is very well appointed and the buffet breakfast was excellent. The attitude of the housekeeping staff was not in keeping with a 5 Star Hotel. Service in general was good but could be improved upon.
