The hotel is very nice. The room is very well appointed and the buffet breakfast was excellent. The attitude of the housekeeping staff was not in keeping with a 5 Star Hotel. Service in general was good but could be improved upon.

All good but I am v upset that no one at the hotel even bother to tell me that you have some form of loyalty program . Plus the hotel Restos give no priority to hotel guests especially the Japanese

« Overall experience was ok. The staff are friendly and helpful but improvements are needed in some areas. »

The hotel is beautifully decorated however the rooms are not functional. Not enough drawers (bathroom lacks space for make up, bed side tables have no drawers and desk has no drawers!). We stayed in suite 203 and 307. Room was too dark so we asked for extra lighting. Room service on the first night was surprisingly slow (1.3 hours for 2 soups and chicken nuggets). Once food arrived, soups were served cold. To make matters worse, I had a very large toothpick in my soups which I nearly choked on. A picture was taken and shared with the head of room service. I receive apologies and was told this would never happen again and that service would be faster in the future and served better. The service was indeed faster afterwards but the mistake was very serious. Imagine had I choked on the toothpick? Housekeep also was very slow. We typically had to wait for 1 hour for a turn down but after I complained, it improved. Also, ironing of clothes should be done within the hour but I had to wait 24 hours to have a sweatshirt ironed. When I complained, I was told I did not request express service. This is silly since a simply ironing of a sweatshirt should not take 24 hours. This is not dry cleaning. I once requested a lint roller from housekeeping and was told I could only keep it for 1 hour . In other hotels, these are available for the entire stay. I told housekeeping that I had a lot of black clothes and needed the lint roller for longer. They refused. I asked for a second time but was told none were available at the hotel. I then bought my own from Carrefour across the street. Breakfast plates and tea cups did not always smell nice (more like eggs at times). Some plates were sticky. We made many remarks and kept having the same issue on different days. None of this is acceptable for a five star hotel expecially considering the prices we are paying. My comments are not meant to get anyone in trouble as I really liked the staff but it's important for you to consider this and make improvements. Better supervision is required in my opinion.

Very nice early morning welcome as we were coming from the US. Room was ready almost immediately. Upgraded to a Junior Suite on the second of a 6 night stay for 200 euro per night supplement. Well worth the extra as we had a small terrace on the 6th floor with a view of the Arc d'Triomphe. Luxurious bathrooms, linen sheets perfectly pressed and great internet connection. Great assistance from the Concierges, bell staff, housekeeping and room service.

Fantastic, excellent, superb are an understatement. Royal Monceau set the professionalism so high that nobody can beat. However, the hotel's true assets are the people working there. Absolutely friendly, keen to assist the customers, very hospitable and super detail oriented; they make any guest feel at home. Many many thanks to Stephane (which I can happily call "le Sauveur") for his assistance during my stay, especially for saving our last minute booking for the business center, Chloé, Isabelle (sorry i forgot some names) and the staff at the concierge services for their prompt assistance and unbelievable attention to details. Each one of them is a RM ambassador and deserves a statue in the lobby honoring their services. Bravo RM for choosing such talented staff.

I have feedback to your reception when I checked out. I stayed at the hotel 3 years back. I travel to Paris every year, but since then, my hubby & I have tried other hotels like Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental. This recent stay was quite disappointing: (1) On 2 nights, no one turned down our bed (2) The cost of Meet & Greet was differently communicated by your reception & concierge (3) Most importantly, on our final day, I have requested a morning call at 6am. There was no call. Thankfully, I set my own alarm, else we would have miss out flight.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and intend to return. The staff was first rate - professional - accommodating at all times. We did find the rooms a bit tight and could have been more user friendly. A little to much influence from the decorator on style instead of function. The room service and quality of food could not have been better.

The hotel is very impressive, well designed offering top quality services. Matsuhisa is excellent, the bar food is mediocre and overprices for the quality offered. We were recommended to eat at the Italian restaurant upon check in, but were not told it has a limited seating, and it is overbooked, twice we were planning to eat with the kids, had not made a reservation and did not manage to eat. we had dinner at the bar, had mini burgers, hamburger one salad and 4 drinks, the drinks were excellent, the food was tasteless, in relation to the expectations. concierge for the Paris, we had asked for the reservations, they were kept at the concierge, and were were not given instructions, to go 20 minutes earlier, to the specific point, while the cost for 4 tickets was 290 or so Euro, whereas in a preview hotel the same service was offered at 120 Euro, the difference is not the issue, the service attention was the issue, especially since our request was for sunset tickets, with no particular budget. both are details and easy to correct. the overall experience was great. The rooms were out of this world!

You need to add coffee machines to the rooms. Peninsula has it and i'd expect so at RM as well. Also, having to pay for movies isnt really nice nowadays anymore. Apart fro that, all good.
