« Nice hotel, bad junior suite location on 7th floor »

We love everything about the hotel, the pool, the restaurant, the location, the concierge except the upgraded room. It's full of formers with awkward positions of beds and TVand low ceiling. Would have enjoyed the original booked Executive room more, with high ceiling. The Check out was slow, due to only one cashier was able to do the c/o, while two other clerks at front desk just stood there. The restaurant breakfast and lunch were best experience.

Overall very happy with the stay, since I am a frequent guest I know the quality of the hotel and what to expect. Last visit I had some "surprises". We arrived around 6 pm and walked down to Nobu. I told hostess we were hotel guests and asked if we could have a small snack and a bottle of wine. She looked at us very hostile without any greeting and asked "Do you have reservation", I replied "No" she looked away if we would not exist. So rude I could not believe my eyes. This was September 6th, so you can look up who was working that night. I have been coming to hotel for several years and never experienced anything like this. I hope you can deal with it for the sake of other guests too. Kind regards.

« generally satisfied . few things were not satisfactory. »

there were few things which were not so good . such as the carpets of the floor were too thick preventing opening and closing of the bathroom and cloak rooms doors . there were no coffee or tea machines in the room . the view from the rooms were not good . i had requested my room to be away from house keeping service room .quite contrarily , they gave me a room just opposite the said service room . the choice of spirits at the lobby bar were far too limited for such a hotel..

« Great support for group event »

I had a group of 50 guests in the Royal Monceau with meetings, lunches and external activities, surrounding the Tour de France final stage. It was brilliant and the team (events team, reception, concierges) did a great job in supporting us and finding a good solution for all our last minute requests. It was already the second time we stayed in the hotel for this event weekend and I can really recommend this hotel to all my fellow event managers hosting VIP guests in Paris. Plus: the breakfast is absolutely top level and this made my day start perfectly and be well prepared for a full day of activities.

Stayed with my family in two connecting rooms. There were some inconveniences with the security detail for the foreign dignitaries staying in the hotel while we were there as well as the air conditioning not working in one of our rooms which was addressed by maintenance and fixed.

« good premises - bad service »

service was not at standard level. 1/ waited 1hr 15 to get burger in room service. In the end, by calling, I understand the burger will not come and I get a salad. 2/ Was on conference call close to bar area - asked for water - was told I cannot get water and need to move all of my computer etc to get to the precise bar area.

« This is my second stay with you and in the previous event I had 6 guests. This time had had only 1 guest but the experience was just as attentive just as elegant. »

The hotel staff are of the highest quality and charm. Helpful in the extreme and seemingly happy in their tasks and roles. One small comment in the negative upon delivery to a suite a little more time on the technical aspects of the technology. Sorry one more point the absence of suffice to English channels on the TV.

« So impressive »

I like the hotel room style. With lots of mirrors and big size. This is the only choice in Paris compare to the other hotels that at the same level. Not lots of views from hotel but that is not important. We can go out and have a walk.

« Not happy »

1.I specially fly to Paris to share with my children with your hotel . However, I am not happy with this trip. My room was 222, wake up before 5 by the garden worker, took a pill to sleep.Again, wake up by the cleaner car. 2 My room has no hair dryer, my wife washed hair and wet , call 2 times to get it and I went to wash my hair, but found out the dryer only cold but no hot air,both of us in wet . I address 2 issues to front desk and ask report to manager on duty, till now, not a word was received. 3. I booked a taxi to Eurostar 7/12 morning and explained very clearly the same type of Mercedes Van like our pickup service from airport. And confirm 2 times the time 5:45pm and the big van, when we return to hotel 5:40pm to take the taxi, no taxi. They tried to give us a small taxi but we have 4 big luggages the conceige collected from our room, they know clearly must be a big van to load it, we spent almost another 30 minutes to get the right one and in a big panic moods. Until now, nobody writes a single word to say something. As mentioned, I specialy arranged one night to stay at your hotel before I come to London to join my daughter graduation, I told my daughter how good was your hotel, but it is not happen this trip.

« Overall the client was happy but there were alot of issues over the week »

Our client had previously stayed at the Renaissance for the past 3 Paris Air Shows. They had some service issues in 2015 and decided they would like a change. We had a very good working relationship with our contact at the Fairmont who has now unfortunately left the company. We worked very hard over a number of months contracting Le Royal Monceau as we believed it offered our client a premium product and the level of service they were not receiving at the Renaissance. We had various issues throughout the planning stages of the programme, including being moved from our contracted office and hospitality spaces due to another (what seemed like a more important) guest. Whilst we eventually found a solution which would suit our clients needs this was a long and frustrating process for all involved. On site during the event we also had various issues when it came to service and client experience. Overall the client was paying much more to stay at this hotel but did not feel they received the level of service that they would have expected. There was an overall feeling that we were not receiving enough support from the hotel and there did not seem to be a real investment in the relationship from a sales perspective.
